We finally hear him speak Japanese! 👍🏻
07:14 Hey, the Silvercup studio. This was used in the movie Highlander for a swordfight at night.
Hi BFT..and a good time was had by all. We'll i guess not the tires 😎
This is on our list of rides to do one day soon!
This looks like a dream ride, congratz to all the family and the riders, is amazing to see the highway closed to cars and full of bikes, so cool!!!
We had to walk across the Queensboro Bridge because the traffic was so jammed up by the time we got there. Watching this made me want to go out for another ride, thanks for another great video!
We were lucky to be in wave 4, but all it takes is one slow rider to stop and block the road and cause everyone to walk. I guess it can't be helped.
@@BromptonFamilyTime It would be nice to ask riders how often they ride, like making a survey to determine where to put the faster rider in the first wave and the slower ones in the last wave.
Yes that would be nice. I think the first wave is the way to go if you can afford the extra cost.
We came to a standstill on the Queensboro Bridge (Wave 6) and the part of the Queens section of the course was bypassed. A little disappointing but still a fantastic experience!!
I think the first 4 waves made it without stopping. At least walking let's you enjoy the view on the bridge lol.
18:07 Apparently a Big Brompton Bag made it through.
Thanks for all your great videos! It’s nice to see a wide range of cyclists in terms of fitness having fun and riding! Remove the cars and they will come!
Looked like a great day out, enjoyed the view.
Awesome rideee BFT
I love your videos. The family rides are so relaxing to watch. You ride in NYC, and that is a fun perspective, and this TD Bike Tour looks awesome. Maybe I will join it next year. Until your video, I didn't know it existed...
Always handy to have a small first aid kit ,I think !
There are volunteers all over the tour as well as first aid stations and ambulances on stand by. Your limited on what you can carry due to bag restrictions.
You were both like rockets up those hills! Do you think the smaller wheels make hills easier?
Yes big difference. Even going slow in traffic we did not struggle going up slops. Great bike.
Nice video. Did you make it to the end of the tour?
Muito bom esse pedal
Very nice. Despite all its faults, I wish I could move to the US. It's the only country where real change can happen. I still think so.
Great video! I would love to do this next year. Is there a website to go to register for next year? Thanks for all the help!

The local Brompton Group can be found on MEETUP app. The registration group for the past two years is TEAM: BROMPTON MAFIA.
@@BromptonFamilyTime How many miles is the bike ride:? thanks
@@angelcardona4027👩🏻It is 40 miles.
did you see anyone on a citibike?
Yes there were a few. I wonder how much it costs to rent for the day!
First
I wonder how the Handle Horns hold up? Thinking of buying them.
It's probably the best upgrade I have done ever.

Thanks for the Information, then i know what to do next. 💵 😃
I find the cheaper original one more comfortable than the more expensive carbon silicone one too. I guess it depends on your hands. Black Friday they will be on sale for the cheapest price, but they probably have sales throughout the year.
I also, whated to asked you about where did you buy the bag you and your wife have on your handbars thanks.
The one on the superlight was made by Brompton and came with a bike cover. I'm not sure they make them anymore.

11:00 Do the bike marshalls also have pumps/inflators or do you need to bring those?
Most of the marshals will have basic tools including a pump. No one is left behind although you may have to wait until a marshal is free. Trek has free repair stands at a few stops so you can also limp your way there for help.
13:36 Do you have a chest rig underneath the vest?
Yes for the Gopro. I kept a few things in my vest pocket. I wish I could use a backpack.
