I started running Swissstop Flash Pro BXP Blue pads in 2017 (£22 for 4x cartridge pads) are way better than the Fibrax crap Brompton fit as standard. The BXP are standard fitment for the Brompton electrics. 04:25 That Dewalt clamp is actually better than the Park Tool BT-2 (4th hand tool) I’ve got, very neat! Though, don’t you you need to toe-in the pads to prevent brake squeal? I toe-in using the cardboard packaging the Swissstop pads come in, fold the cardboard in half and place from the pad rear halfway to the front and tighten the holders after you have the desired clearance.

Is is smoother than the stock headset?

very helpful. when I cleaned all single parts of my calipers I didnt know how to put them back together again. Also got a Ti bolt set now. btw, don't appologize for that cutie, hes so sweet. Kids bring as much joy in our lives as working on our Bromptons ;)

Might I suggest you use a little Blue Locktite when re assembling chainrings. If one of those bolts loosens up you will get a little ticking sound that will drive you out of your mind trying to figure out where it is coming from.

I have a cheap special Brake Pad plastic tool to use on the rim which will guide the pads correctly while adjusting their position! They function fine. As I like my bike to look mostly original, I have only changed several of the original brake parts to titanium, so they still look the same as when bought. But my bike, with mudguards, as a "Rainy Dane" now weighs below 9 kilos! It is a former 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton. Finn. Denmark

My manual says it has a vibration sensor and that it should switch off, when motionless, but it keeps shining even after 10 min motionless. Could you please advise if your light works like that as well or switches automatically off after 5 min?

The roads are too hard to ride like that when they resurface.The park is nice though.

I love riding my 4 speed p-line but at 72 many of my urban hills were too challenging. My local Brompton dealer where I bought it does conversions now so I did the 5 speed and it was just what I needed. I will be riding more and enjoying the rides more. Perfect for me and my city Denver.

i really need your help, in the facebook t line group they are saying to stay away from Ciamillito brakes as they are single pivot, it’s confusing and I am afraid it’s dangerous to use it espcially in hills and rainy weather? Please advise as it’s about life and death not only speed design. I read that 2024 he made it stronger but we really need explenation

Horrible! In Denmark it is illegal for Cars to park on Bikelanes, even if only marked by a painted stripe! But normally they are directly separated with an edge against the cars, as the walking areas inside the bikes, and in both sides of a road! And we rarely use double direction lanes. Finn. Denmark

I love your solo trips into Manhattan.

I bought a Swytch conversion kit for my wife's Brompton and in my opinion it was a complete waste of money. The battery quit charging after a few months and Swytch have ignored my request for help. I have a Cytronex system on my Brompton and by comparison for me it is far superior product.

is it better to choose this model or the 1700 square?

Great video again! For us, Brommieplus is the best, if not, the only aftermarket manufacturer we actually buy parts from. Customer service is great, they provide instruction, as you said, and even tried to help us out while touring. Great guys, highly recommend 💪

Not really much price or weight difference with the Brompton Superlight post... I think I will be getting the Bton one.. Def a better guarantee of safety
