    Thank you for adding this informative video... I recently ran ARC for a 2nd time on the AVM 70 and it ended up slightly changing my speaker levels at lower levels, way below 0 reference, also the two subs to even much lower levels than they were when I first ran it, with the exception of the main speakers, which are set at +4. Had to manually raise the subs to +7 and + 5, preference of mine. Thank you also for explaining the frequency slopes and for including the SPL meter level match demo, really helpful. Keep up the good work on this channel.

    Sweet video and seriously nice feature on the Anthem . Got a marantz SR6015 amp. Audyssey(app) matched hem really well for speaker volume. Checked it with my umik 1 mic. and REW. Speaker distance was not correct and a little off. Tuned it wit REW and optimized by ear(more bass) Btw. Your canton speakers measure much lower than my canton 890dc. Didn't expect that. Got lots of room gain in 20hz frequency so it will compensate. Nice video!

    Your first anthem review sent me toward a purchase but then all the Anthem Facebook page bug reports scared me away. So now your back with more insight and ways to make anthem work and im going to jump on a 740 in the fall in the hope by then more updates from Anthem will clean up the rest of the bugs. As far as level matching should you do this before running ARC in anthem or just let ARC Genesis take care of the level matching? Thanks for your great work. Your explanations are clean and clear and really help with new products

    Hi Kspaceguy,
    Could you kindly explain why AVM70 doesn’t have the Auro 3d? Do you personally think 🤔 it can added or be addressed to Anthem Company.
    Or Do You think it’s not necessary?

    Thanks Kyle for the new video. I’m still really struggling between the Denton 8500HA or the anthem 1140. I presently own a marantz 7010 receiver and really love the simplicity of audessey. But I eventually want to move into separates and have heard great things about anthems. Sound quality and room correction. I just don’t want to be let down by the complexity and bug issues anthem has been dealing with. I know anthem has made great strides in this area. What do u think I should do. I really value your opinion. Thanks again.

      After you turn test tone on in the web UI you have to change a speaker level for it to play. From the same web page just change a speaker level up or down .5db and the test tone will play from that speaker. Sorry this is a year late but hoping it still helps!

    Do you listen to all movies at reference level once you've calibrated to 75 db? Do you ever find that some movies are mixed low? Is 75db loud enough to set as the reference? I've never done it that way, but I'm going to when I get time. I typically just turn it up to 75 db, then balance from there. Im way off of the reference point of 0 when I do it.

    • @Kpaceguy
      @Kpaceguy  2 роки тому +1

      Reference level is enough for most rooms. All but the big basements. Calibrating at reference level just helps protect the speakers and amplifiers. You can turn it past it safely if your levels aren't turned too high

    • @hdmoviesource

      @@Kpaceguy I balanced it to 75 db at 0. Yeah it's really loud. Too loud for my room. I like -10 or -12 after calibrating at 0 for 75.
