      the SM58 been used since the 60s I think. Many youtubers/streamers/singers still buy the SM58 for $100 in 2020. Crazy to think how far video has come, but audio only got a few new upgrades

      Old comment, but still: Neural Networks were a big exciting thing in the 1990s. But not yet very refined and computational power was the big limitation.

There will continue to be many startups and businesses being setup in the near future. And we want to be able to identify the ones with the most potential for future success; starting with how passionate and dedicated their founders are

    He called the internet "Primitive Infant"Technology in 1998. It's almost as if he had a 30 year vision of his company and the internet and he saw how "shitty" the internet is from 1998.

    I wish I had watched all of his interviews before the stock split the first time. That was 1998 I think. A measly $8000 investment then, at $32 per share, pre split, is now worth almost $13 million! Jeff Bezos is brilliant.

      He was very aware of the potential of the internet. As he mentions in this speech, the use of the internet was growing 2300% yoy and he as a TED talk (link provided) where he compares early stages of other industries and compares it to the internet.

      Do you.. not know what venture capitalists are? Asking his parents to invest is a favor to them, it allows them to profit off the business. If it weren't for his parents, by 1996 he could have absolutely taken the existing business to some VC's and secured the same funding. Your point is moot.
