  • Dr. Chester Sokolowski, PhD, CISSN makes his second appearance on the show. Dr. Sokolowski received his PhD in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University. He has worked with myriad populations throughout his research career including post menopausal, prediabetic women during postdoc, men ages 55-75 during PhD, heavy drinkers during PhD, healthy populations and athletes during BS and MS.
    Dr. Sokolowski is also the Founder and CEO of Physique U in addition to being the owner of the Physique Lab mobile app which serves as fitness journal and workout log.

    Excellent stuff. I can attest to what Chester is saying. I've been lifting for 4 years. After coming across Chester's material on IG and older website two years ago I modified my training a lot. In my first year I increased my squat for reps by 100+ lbs, for example (I squat 400's for reps). And I don't even use a squat belt yet. Natural lifter too. My recovery is amazing, lifting progress almost every session, no injuries due to great fatigue management, etc. Looking forward to getting his new course.
    As a natural, I progress the fastest in general dedicating 3-6 sets per session, training a muscle every 4-5 days. Cringey seeing influencer workout routines with mega high volume 😬
