The part where Malicos tries to convince Cal with power and he declines is honestly what Revan would do. He wasn’t after power but instead he was after knowledge of the force which in turn GAVE him power.
the whole thing with revan was never power for sure so it really was quite fitting, he wanted to learn and understand both the dark and light side of the force to find peace and true balance making him one hell of an awesome gray jedi not bending to either one side but the knowledge of the force itself in turn finding peace and power with it.
They need to make a game where you play as Revan before the events of KoTOR. Or something with him where you can choose which side he chooses. Revan is not in enough games. He was always my favorite Sith Lord and I always wanted to play a game as him with that armor setup on him

I find the idea of Revan having any trouble with Maul whatsoever laughable. He's the guy generations of Sith have studied, envied, copied, and even worshipped. Maul couldn't even straight up beat Ahsoka. Revan would look down on him like a child playing with toys as a Sith, and like someone in need of real guidance as a Jedi. This looks awesome. Rather ironic though that the game limitations make it that Revan, notable as one of the few examples of dual saber users is stuck with a double-bladed saber while Maul, one of the most famous double-bladed saber users is stuck with dual sabers.
I mean it’s not too big a stretch since Maul and Revan were both Niman practitioners although Mauls primary was Juyo. Niman could be used with a single blade although it was a gateway into dual lightsaber wielding. Double-Sabers are also favored by Niman users.
Cal sounds so dope in his Kylo Ren voice, but the mod makes me want to play KOTOR again when I get home. Still, I do imagine Adam Driver doing the voice work here. In all of seriousness, I love this AU.

It would be cool to see a full fledged open world Star Wars RPG game. Allowing the player to pick between multiple builds such as Light, Dark or Grey force users, Jedi, Sith or Vigilante, Bounty Hunter, Droid, Human, Wookie and other alien species, with strengths and weaknesses to the builds you choose. Traversing the galaxy with space ships that can fight, being able to pod race, also travel on speeders through the different planets. Training and learning from other NPCs, with option to just train or kill them which would influence what powers you obtain and the side of the force you fight for, even say not killing them but not choosing to respect them to stay neutral. I’d say like a Dark Souls type combat like this game is, but a bit more forgiving, where if you get hit, instead it’s like backup force that blocks the strike, or shields, which when depleted, and blow would be fatal. Being able to craft multitudes of weapons from light sabers, blaster, other energy weapons, anything from the style of the weapon to the colors they emit. Having a few paths that fit a main story, with multiple endings depending on the path you choose. 3rd person, while having the amount of choices like Elder Scrolls for example. This would take a lot of time, money and people to pull off but man it would be so epic. This and Mortal Kombat would be cool. Maybe even a Marvel/DC cross over as well. Having co op/pvp options, a wild setting where the player is in an anything goes environment, where other players and NPCs can attack when ever, choosing the difficulty and power levels of the worlds they’re in, offering more of a challenge and risk but greater reward as well. Having open world fighting modes and a duel fighting mode for agreed upon contests. Maybe at some point right?

This actually is making me think, would Maul have taken shelter here by now? Or not yet? We know from Rebels that he was here, not just for the ritual, as Sabine found the Darksaber with his possessions. Characters like Revan and even extremes as Nihilus should make a return one day... Honestly the most interesting eras in Star Wars (Legacy) haven't been discovered outside of some comics or a few games, but the potential there is insane. I didn't even turn into a Star Wars fan before I dove into the Old Republic-era stuff for instance. Something millions will barely even know exists.

This is a weird issue I have with Star Wars games. How characters tank hits from lightsabers that aren't Darth Vader or Darth Sion, etc... Who have suits built specifically to do so, or even having the ability of the force to atomically tank those saber hits. Maybe Revan can tank saber hits, but idrk how that makes sense since his entire body is not suited. Maybe Darth Maul can tank saber hits, but I doubt that his ability of the force is to be resistant to the heat of a light saber since he got cut in half. Or he would have never got cut in half by Obi-Wan or died in the Clone Wars series. The game aspect of tanking saber hits is rather jaded, and impractical from a game perspective. It kind of ruins the whole suspense. If defense war paramount, like it seems in the movies and anime. Which seems more practical, it maintains suspense. Based on a one hit kill scenerio. Not an issue with this video, just the game aspect in general. The realism of it is rather jaded.

The only version of Revan who would even stand a chance against Vader is SOR Revan, and Yoda and Palpatine would beat all versions of Revan.

It would be cool to see a full fledged open world Star Wars RPG game. Allowing the player to pick between multiple builds such as Light, Dark or Grey force users, Jedi, Sith or Vigilante, Bounty Hunter, Droid, Human, Wookie and other alien species, with strengths and weaknesses to the builds you choose. Traversing the galaxy with space ships that can fight, being able to pod race, also travel on speeders through the different planets. Training and learning from other NPCs, with option to just train or kill them which would influence what powers you obtain and the side of the force you fight for, even say not killing them but not choosing to respect them to stay neutral. I’d say like a Dark Souls type combat like this game is, but a bit more forgiving, where if you get hit, instead it’s like backup force that blocks the strike, or shields, which when depleted, and blow would be fatal. Being able to craft multitudes of weapons from light sabers, blaster, other energy weapons, anything from the style of the weapon to the colors they emit. Having a few paths that fit a main story, with multiple endings depending on the path you choose. 3rd person, while having the amount of choices like Elder Scrolls for example. This would take a lot of time, money and people to pull off but man it would be so epic. This and Mortal Kombat would be cool. Maybe even a Marvel/DC cross over as well. Having co op/pvp options, a wild setting where the player is in an anything goes environment, where other players and NPCs can attack when ever, choosing the difficulty and power levels of the worlds they’re in, offering more of a challenge and risk but greater reward as well. Having open world fighting modes and a duel fighting mode for agreed upon contests. Maybe at some point right?

This actually is making me think, would Maul have taken shelter here by now? Or not yet? We know from Rebels that he was here, not just for the ritual, as Sabine found the Darksaber with his possessions. Or are there multiple Nightsister temples on Dathomir, in which Maul and Malicos hid separately? I'd actually be kind of interested in knowing if the two met and fought each other!

@@TheMeta141 To be honest. He is kinda tough for a Padawan that had to mostly teach himself after his master died. And even defeated two Inquisitors. And a Jedi Master(With the help of a nightsister) So i could not consider him weak.

@@TheMeta141 Maybe. Revan is kinda overrated though. (And this is from a Revan fan) And as time pass, Jedi and Sith do grow stronger. Maul has learned abilities that would've been unheard of in the Old Republic. But they are both quite skilled and experienced lightsaber duelists. So either way, i don't think it would just be a quick fight.

Characters like Revan and even extremes as Nihilus should make a return one day... Honestly the most interesting eras in Star Wars (Legacy) haven't been discovered outside of some comics or a few games, but the potential there is insane. I didn't even turn into a Star Wars fan before I dove into the Old Republic-era stuff for instance. Something millions will barely even know exists.

@@gw7911 but Revan WOULD destroy maul. Maul was beaten by qui gon, Revan decimated the galactic republic and obtained ancient knowledge of the force spread across multiple worlds. THEN lost his identity and did it all again
@@Ecroose I know he would destroy maul I’m saying if the roles were switched people would complain about it. Some are somewhat complaining just because Maul wasn’t completely destroyed. Then again I guess cal didn’t exactly beat malicos on his own and was helped by Merrin.

This is a weird issue I have with Star Wars games. How characters tank hits from lightsabers that aren't Darth Vader or Darth Sion, etc...
Who have suits built specifically to do so, or even having the ability of the force to atomically tank those saber hits.
Maybe Revan can tank saber hits, but idrk how that makes sense since his entire body is not suited.
Maybe Darth Maul can tank saber hits, but I doubt that his ability of the force is to be resistant to the heat of a light saber since he got cut in half. Or he would have never got cut in half by Obi-Wan or died in the Clone Wars series.
The game aspect of tanking saber hits is rather jaded, and impractical from a game perspective.
It kind of ruins the whole suspense.
If defense war paramount, like it seems in the movies and anime. Which seems more practical, it maintains suspense.
Based on a one hit kill scenerio.

That was the only thing that bothered me about this game. An actual hit should end someone. The health bar should be taken down but like narrowly blocking or nicks. A full slash would be over and done with immediately.

Revan is so much more powerful than people give him credit for. The only person that ever defeated him was Vitiate who was probably the strongest force user ever. Revan was easily more powerful than Vader and probably more powerful than Palpatine and Yoda

He's actually less powerful than people give him credit for. People like to exaggerate him to be the most powerful Jedi/Sith who ever lived, when he definitely isn't. The only version of Revan who would even stand a chance against Vader is SOR Revan, and Yoda and Palpatine would beat all versions of Revan.
