Triple Monitor Setup Tutorial: Optix MAG27CQ | Gaming Monitor | MSI

Here’s an easy explanation about how to install a triple monitor setup for your gaming rig. We’re using the MSI Optix curved gaming monitors for a more immersive experience. We’ve combined three of these with the MSI Infinite X gaming PC, featuring up to two MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GAMING 11G graphics cards in SLI.

I have 2 msi mag 27 cqs, cant get 2nd to pair up by standard windows 10 prompts etc. Do I need to down load drivers etc ? will just an hdmi cable work? Thx!

Are you using displayport 1.2 or 1.4? I have a 7680x1440p and its only running on 60hz in nvidia surround tho all monitor ar capable of 75hz and more.

@MSI Gaming, you guys forgot the most important part. How to set up multiply monitors in MSI Gaming OSD? I can only adjust 1 screen. The other one won't do anything from MSI Gaming OSD. They both are connected with Display AND an USB cable.

Today with the latest Nvidia drivers this Is not working with the Nvidia RTX2070 or GTX1060 on the MAG271CQR, at least you will lose the surround each time you restart/shutdown the PC, very disturbing to be honest.

HDMI 2.0 can run 144Hz in both 1080P and 1440P.

As long as the monitors have a VESA mount and the stand supports the size, weight and number of monitors.

Only one thing wrong here, the adaptive sync for the gpu in this monitor does not support nvidias g-sync. Funny how MSI is marketing a freesync monitor with nvidia cards...MSI is also manufacturing Nvidia cards themselves, but aren't willing to pay for the g-sync licensing on monitors.

PSA: Eyefinity requires all the displays to use DisplayPort. HDMI won't work with Eyefinity.

what gfx do you have? I had a 970 GTX when I got the MAG27CQ -- now with a 2060S and the quality is MUCH better
