Hey! There's this book I bought called Jo and Laurie and its basically a retelling of the story but where Jo and Laurie end up together! I really recommend it!
Thank you so much for including Mina and the Undead! I’m the author - I sent it to you from Book Depository as I thought it sounded like you might enjoy it. I hope you do! 🦇
Omg Amy THANK YOU!! I’m so extremely honored that you thought of me and went through the trouble of sending me a copy 🥺 I cannot wait to read it! It seriously sounds like the perfect spooky season book 👻🙏🏻🥺 Again, thank you so so much!!

I really enjoy your book hauls because you talk about each book with such enthusiasm and love, it makes me want to read them all! I also get a lot of gift ideas for my friends and family.
I love how you are not just a booktuber, a lifestyle youtuber or just aesthetical things, you are everything in one! With you all the things I like watching are bundled up into one channel. Not only that but your kindness makes me feel so much at ease🥰

As a fellow bibliophile, your book hauls are bad for my wallet!!!! 💜 Methinks I need to open a charmingly moody bookstore/cafe and stock it with only wonderful books with beautiful covers 😉
I love the term “sensitive reader” as I feel this way too. I could not read the Court of Thorns and Roses series because of the violence and language. Nobody else could understand why but it was just too much for me. I will use that term from now on to help my friends and family understand why I don’t read certain things. 👌🏻
I dropped some highly rated book series due to the same reason, violence ,bad language and steamy books are always a turnoff for me. Totally understand.

I’m so exciting about the book haul u made …heheh just when the video started I ran to find me a journal and pencil so I can write down all the books xD… love ur videos so much❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You should try watching Violet Evergarden! It's a "vintage" and "writing" anime that's really heartfelt and more on the drama side of a show. I'm going to try out Snow White with the Red Hair now since it looks really interesting 💖
Violet Evergarden was great. I think she'd probably also fall in love with Kaoru Mori's Emma series, which is a Victorian England manga with a clean romance.

not me adding all of these books to my already-too-long TBR 🙈
I love Austenland. Shannon Hale is a lovely writer. Her fantasy reminds me of Gail Carson Levine, but the adult Austen-inspired series was fun. The film is worth checking out too!

The description of "Rise & Shine of Benedict Stone" reminded me a bit of the movie "What A Girl Wants" with Amanda Bynes! Love this video (and all your videos!). Can't wait to put in some requests at the library :)

I started reading books according to the season thanks to you, and I find this helps to better appreciate what’s happening in the present around us. What do you think about “The little prince” by Antoine De Saint-Exupery?
UK viewer here and I'm enjoying your enthusiasm - it's very catching and incredibly uplifting. I have a few book recommendations for you if you've not already read them. The first is actually a non-fiction that I think would be right up your street (it doesn't read like non fiction) and it's called The Serpent and the Moon by Princess Michael of Kent. Brilliant book set in renaissance France about King Henry II and the rivalry between his Queen and his mistress. I couldn't put it down it was so interesting. And if you've not read any Daphne Du Maurier, then they're an absolute must for your bookshelf. Rebecca is an all time favourite, but so is House on the Strand. She's the ultimate in romance and gothic writers and certainly a top author here in the UK. Love and hugs from rural England ;-)
Wow, you found some amazing books. I am interested in nearly all of them. I really love Anne of Green Gables too💜. I did get some new books, but I ended up donating them because they had Gorey bloody stuff which I don’t like. I wasn’t aware when I purchased them that this was in them. Thank you for the recommendations! I added a few titles to my book list 😊 One of my favorite books is The Traveling Cat Chronicles. It's a small yet emotionally captivating book, and a must read for cat lovers!
Omg thank you so much! I’ve thought about it.. but i literally have no clue what I’m doing with my makeup 😂 And lots of people requested a hair style/color/how I do my curls video and not many people watched it, so I always figure not many people would want to watch me do my makeup. I’m thinking of including my makeup in an autumn morning routine video or something like that ☺️

@@bunny_0288 Mine too! Waterhouse's painting of the Lady "looking the chain" in the boat is my favorite piece of visual art inspired by Tennyson's poem. Is that the one? If you like Snow White with the Red Hair, you would like Ancient Magus Bride. It’s very heavy on Celtic folklore and witchcraft, set in the English countryside. The main character starts out depressed but it becomes a beautiful mental health journey for her.
Reading can be a lot less expensive if you use your local library. Many libraries also lend out eBooks, so if you have a reader, such an a Kindle, you don't even have to worry about possible COVID germs on a physical book. Where I live, not only can you get any book from any branch of the county library, it's possible to request books from numerous libraries throughout the state.
Very true!! I get most of my audiobooks through loan with my library using the Libby app :) I do have a few books currently checked out from the library. I love the library :) But sometimes the wait time for the new releases is so long 🙈 but you’re very right!
When you pulled out that copy of Pride and Prejudice with the actual letters inside, I began crying. Seeing the handwriting and signature of Fitzwilliam Darcy. I read Mina and the Undead and loved it. Hope you enjoy it.
I read The Two Princesses of Bamarre based on your recommendation and loved it! I immediately read The Lost Kingdom of Bamarre and Fairest afterward! Both were great reads! I think I loved Fairest most!
I've also started setting up my TBR for autumn🙂 Thank you so much for the great inspiration.
Your makeup looks really good in this video 😊
A girl of the limberlost by gene stratton-porter is a really good cottagecore book!
Ooooo I'm planning to read it.
Thanks for the recommendations- my reading list just got a bit longer lol
Love your book hauls and videos in general they make me feel comforted :)
your "pride and prejudice" version is wonderful!!!😍 i love Jane Austen too, which of her books do you prefer? beautiful video, kisses from Italy😘😘
Right? It’s so pretty 🥺 and Emma is my absolute favorite by her! ☺️💗
The Books sound amazing. 😍😍 And I also love your Outfit. Where is that cardigan from? ❤️❤️
Thank you! I found it a few weeks ago at my local thrift store 🤍
You will LOVE The Land of Stories!
If you like Snow White with the Red Hair, you would like Ancient Magus Bride. It’s very heavy on Celtic folklore and witchcraft, set in the English countryside. The main character starts out depressed but it becomes a beautiful mental health journey for her.
That sounds like the absolute perfect book for me 😶 *adds it to amazon cart*
@@DarlingDesi She also eventually gets a familiar that looks kind of like Dartagnan. ☺️ Happy reading/watching.
Really really REALLY enjoyed this video. You're so special 💜
When you pulled out that copy of Pride and Prejudice with the actual letters inside, I began crying. Seeing the handwriting and signature of Fitzwilliam Darcy. Something about that struck me so deep inside. I will have to find a copy of that. That is a genius idea, whoever came up that deserves an award. 💖💖💖💖💖
I just love your chanel so cozy
House of Hollow was good! It's creepy and honestly would make for a great October read. I have so many of these on my "to read" shelf too! I hope we both enjoy them all lol :D
