as a newish golfer, I am constantly being advised to use a 7/8/9/PW for chipping, and with chunky Ping game improvement style irons, I find I have no feel and the ball either flies off the face or I over-compensate and get a jerky action. I have found the 50 and 54 wedges much more consistent for chipping and feel. Happy to see at least ONE video here backing up my own experience 👍
Does smash factor really make much difference at a swing speed of about 10mph? Anyone wondering what the best club to chip with needs to go and spend an hour around a green and try out various clubs and shots. Preferably more than 1 with each too. 😂
