Imagine, living near by and all of a sudden you can hear thousands of people singing and screaming this song in perfect sync. What a moment
on YT you can find a 8 min version of "Feel" during the same concert where he gets really emotional and connects with the crowd in a really special way. This Knebworth show was 3 nights in front of 350 000 people, still the biggest show in Englang to this day

Rob tells a great story about when he first started dating his wife Ayda back in '06 she had no idea who he was because nobody in America did.
After dinner he took her back to massive Beverly Hills compound and she looked at him and said: "Who are you?" So he put on the Knebworth concert and was like: "That's me..."
She was gobsmacked. They're still together, still madly in love and have four beautiful children.
So Robbie, always the most troubled of pop stars, finally got his angels after all.

Heard that song a million times and was almost in tears watching this. What a performer. What a performance. What a crowd.
Robbie is a true superstar, a true entertainer.
He has absolutely incredible stage charisma, hard to believe that he is extremely introverted in civilian life.
Robbie wasn't just huge in the UK, he is hugely popular in Australia.

it was the same in Dublin when he sang this song, I'm 74 and first heard this about 20 years ago and still sing it. Beauty is beauty, as must be the mind that composed this and wrote the lyrics.

The UK has dominated music since the 60's ... that's over 60 plus years
UK national Anthem for generations of people. Seriously people know every line of this song from every background and every age pretty much lol. I remeber coming back from a under 11 football match in the rain on the mini bus and this song came on the radio and everyone of us boys covered in mud and soaking wet ages between 10-11 sung it all word for word lol.
This is probably the best solo live performance ever…❤ still gives me goosebumps after watching it the 100th time. 150k people singing your song back to you..
I´ve had the privilege to see him live twice, he is a great entertainer, writer and singer. I also got goosebumps. He will forever be in my heart.
Someone else commented that this is Robbie at his peak. That’s almost an understatement. Maybe a week earlier or a week later he wasn’t quite this. He really channeled something amazing and special during his Knebworth shows that I think is on the level of the greatest performances by any artist, ever. His swing concert at Royal Albert Hall is also pretty amazing. Would love to see you react to that so you can see just how versatile he is.
Robbie is a natural performer. we are very proud of him on England, and especially here in Stoke-on rent where I live about a mile away from where Robbie was born.

I went to see Robbie in Knebworth, on my 41st birthday. Which coincided with his best friend Jonathan's birthday. Seeing and hearing 50,000+ people singing Happy Birthday ON YOUR ACTUAL BIRTHDAY....indescribable. One of the best experiences of my life. Ever. EVER.

It must be the most incredible feeling hearing thousands upon thousands of people singing your songs back to you.
This is just one of the very BEST songs on the PLANET. And the way that this song connects with every single person in that massive audience - is just mind blowing. Let Me Entertain You and Rock DJ are two more of my favourites. Cheers from Canada!
Whether you like Robbie's music or not, you can't deny that he's a world class performer. I would say he's the closest anyone has ever come to being able to fill Freddie Mercury's shoes, and I can't think of any higher praise than that. I haven't watched the Netflix documentary but I will do. Robbie had a pretty rocky road but fair play to him, he sure knew how to put on a show and for that, I will always have respect for him. Just look at the size of that crowd. I'm pretty sure there were other performances from that concert where he had them eating out of his hand. Thanks for the reaction guys.

I was there...near the back. You got to believe it, it was .......moving. Not so after the show ..it took a day to leave the place. Good memory, and I'm over 80 now.
I sat on my patio listening to this, the concert is about 2 miles away,, I got it free!!!! 100,000 people enjoyed this!
I was at stevenage station
I was there on the last night when Mark Owen (his former band mate) joined him on stage. I cannot describe how incredible the atmosphere was that day and the crowd erupted when Mark walked out because it was completely unexpected - Robbie has fallen out with the band many years before and had not been on stage with any of them since the break up. I’ve been to many many concerts and Festivals in the UK (including Glastonbury) and this was the best concert I’ve ever been to. Angels is one of Robbie’s solo songs which was huge in the UK and beyond. I saw Robbie just over a year ago in Manchester and it was fantastic seeing him, he made several references to Knebworth that night and it will forever be one, if not the, highlight of his career.

I remember watching this as it aired live in the UK, and crazier to think that wasn’t a festival, the crowd was there all for him. Robbie was the biggest music star in the uk for years, he was an absolute superstar. Crazy to think where he came from and the struggles he deals with to this day
I got offered a ticket to one of the Knebworth gigs two days before from someone who couldn't go any more. I liked The Darkness, Ash, and Moby who were all playing support so I figured I could go along, enjoy them and then maybe not be too bored during RW.
What actually happened was that I went along, enjoyed all the acts I was looking forward to as I thought I would and then was blown away by how great Robbie Williams was. I consider myself extremely lucky to have been there!
Just love Robbie Williams. He’s hugely popular in Australia. Great voice and a very funny, cheeky guy. A real showman as you can see. It’s worthwhile watching his interviews on Graeme Norton Show too.❤
Robbie Williams is an unbelievable singer and entertainer. He had his troubles but came through them. Angels, Strong and Better Man are my favorites from him. He is so good live too, no auto tune required. Just saw a version of My Way by him and he almost brought me to tears.

I was at that show. It will always be one of my all time favourites, and I’ve seen hundreds of artists. Robbie Williams, what you see is what you get and he deserved every single one of those thousands of claps and roars, times 175,000, times three nights. Great bloke, phenomenal entertainer.
Hard to believe Angels is over 25 years old. It is an iconic song in Europe and all around the world - except USA. I have seen Robbie 3 times in concert and he puts on such a good show. .Last year I went to see Harry Styles in Munich, Germany, and they played this song before the concert started and the huge crowd sang every word. It sounded amazing and made me feel quite emotional.
Whatever people might say about ole Robbie, the man has charisma in the bucket loads. Often that's all you need plus a pretty decent voice. The word legend is used too often. But for charisma levels and the ability to hook people and entertain Robbie passes the test imo.
I would say this song, and Bohemian Rhapsody, every UK citizen has sung drunk in a pub at full volume at sometime in their life, lyric perfect.
