Those jigs are bending when they come over the rail in a fish’s mouth when they hit the deck from what I’ve seen.
Yes they do. Just gotta bend them back and get back to fishing afterwards :)
If your jig bends, just lay it on the rail and straighten it out. Just don't mess with it too much. 😉
Yup, that's what we do. The long jigs will bend when they get hit by a big one :)
It seems you didn’t know what was inside the box. Did you get these jigs for free? Lucky guy!
No, I had ordered them a while back but they were backordered so it took a while to get here. Forgot what was included.
Pretty decent jigs. I prefer the West Coast Jiggers KB jigs and Sweaty Betty’s 350grams and KB punch jigs. Rip rollers im 500Grams are good in Heavy Current with fish at 300-400 feet as retrieve jigs. The SKs are best in Pink
G are you going fishing on Hoo's 2 this year? if so, I'll see you then. I may have to use one of your ugly Rip Roller.
Thanks for the review on the jigs. Fresh One!
That's the plan for now D. I'll try to bring one for you but we might not be fishing for BF.
Your unicorn is called Katy Perry ant what you call the top is actually the bottom. Heavy side of the jig falls
Katy Perry is blue & pink this “unicorn” color is not Katy Perry just Google it.
Great video, thanks 👍 im glad you mentioned about the hooks on the Nomads, I ran into the same issue with their same type of hooks but single rather than assist type on the DTX minnows. I went 1 for 5 on bluefin last year trolling off the Grande, the one I landed was 50 pounds. I even talked with Nomad customer service and they seemed surprised that I had the issue. Tight lines and following seas 🤙
Yeah the hooks themselves are actually not bad except for the barb. They are pretty stout and actually nice and light but not sure what they were thinking when designing the barb. My guess is they are focused on catch and release and want to minimize damage to the fish. Tight lines and screaming drags!
