I completely agree. love juice and lots of booty from my jazz bass ... That's why I'm keeping my deluxe 5 hahaha. The ultras look good , but Fender is the master of selling the same stuff every 3 or 4 years . Maybe I'll get those noiseless pickups and call it a day .
You're right. I'll stick to my Elite 5. I hate they got rid of string through body and trust rod.

I swear as far as sound and tone this bass is no different from the elite series!!! Basically i'm paying for the new version of the same thing. Nik west sounds great!!!

I like this phat sound of the noiseless pickups with the American Ultra bass, it is expensive but it's a good bass.
It’s funny how things look depending where you sit.. From my perspective this is an instrument for beginners or someone on a budget that has other basses but wants a J-bass. It’s funny I personally avoid stacked/split/inline hum-canceling pickups at all costs especially in J coils. I personably think Fender’s noiseless jbass pickups are sonically the absolute worst design on the market! But, Like I said it’s funny how different things can look…

@@carlosegtrs5308 No. I think she jammed with him once but he didn't use her. She told the story that he told her slap really hard and got her to play the same riff over and over. I think he was trolling her.

Gorgeous bass. I think she's very overrated. Great at marketing herself but really not a special bass player. Seems she gets noticed because she once played with Prince for an afternoon.
