  • “You’re going to get rich! Your parents won’t understand! Nor will your friends! You are a visionary who is aligned with today’s times!”
    Chris Terry, the elusive founder of the IM Academy, certainly knows what his audience wants to hear. Accused of brainwashing and being the first-ever crypto cult, many feel that IM Academy is actually a global pyramid scheme using cryptocurrency as a dangerous lure to suck in and squeeze money out of the world’s wide-eyed youth, selling dreams of both easy wealth and membership in a new world order?
    In May of 2022, eight members of the Spanish chapter of the organization were arrested for fraud, misleading advertising, psychological coercion, the enticement of minors, and criminal organization. Will this Spanish scandal bring down the crypto cult or is it merely a speed bump on Christopher Terry’s road to riches.
    This episode of Cowboy Kings of Crypto was made in 2022.

    How are people in 2024 still falling for these 💀💀💀.

    • @rks5457
      @rks5457 28 днів тому +118

      I used to think the same but people are more susceptible than ever before. People are hurting right now in both finances and purpose. The economy is bad, future is bleek and the internet and social media has allowed for niche "interests/ideas" to take over. Fringe groups like this prey on people who are at places in life where they are weak and aimless. You'd think people are less likely due to being able to research something but know that "researching" is exactly what they're doing. Know that there are dissenting opinions on everything and we who think we wouldn't fall for this also listen to dissenting opinions that go against the grain all the time.

      Lol at these poor simpletons thinking there is a magic pill that will allow you to become rich.
      Nah, you just save more than you spend, it is just that simple. If you can "only" save something like 1000$/month or less then it might take two generations for your family tree to become rich. But as long as you save (and invest it in extremely risk averting way) you aren't losing it in pyramid schemes and other scams and your family tree will at some point be able to live off the interest and dividends.

    Remember people - profitable traders don't spend their time/money hosting conventions and harassing you to join their pyramid scheme. They also don't ask you to recruit others to make money. If they could trade they would print money with trading and enjoy it privately. This guy preys on desperate and gullible people looking for a shortcut to money

      Because money has taken over our society and fellow people harder than ever before. The kid at the start of this video literally provides no value to this world. He has a "Money Tree", his beads don't promote individual emotions or spiritual prosperity (as lame and stupid as spiritual prosperity sounds) they are "Business Promotion" Beads. I am not saying everyone has to provide value, thats dumb, but he solely exists for money.
      All this to say is that money is not fulfilling. I WANT to be rich, but even if I had a billion dollars I would still feel unaccomplished because I HAVE DONE NOTHING. I'd be happy sure but unfulfilled. These athletes have grinded their entire life to get that money, old people generally worked most of their life to become wealthy afterwards, the reality of young rich people (not born into it) is a scam, it happens but its like the NBA, its so rare it probably won't happen, and definitely not through a course. The real problem is however that when it doesnt work out you are not left with a genuine work ethic or experience that you can apply to your next goal. It was just that you did not make money, or you did, but either way you are unfufilled because you truly know you did nothing for anyone on the earth

    I was apart of this IM academy in the USA for a year and to be honest it wasn’t bad. I don’t know if it was just my circumstance where I knew the coach/teacher personally but I was never forced to recruit people or recommend people for the course and all of our zoom calls where informative. The only downside was the price of the course which is why i eventually quit it after I felt like I learned enough to trade on my own. I honestly didn’t even know it was this worldwide.

Mainly because people look at it and probably think I'm just like the majority of these other scammers. It's awful man! Depressing as heck! All I want to do is teach others the same way I learnt, and I charge a fraction of what all these "guru's" charge and they prefer to purchase from a fake than someone who is literally trying to help you, for a fraction of the price?!
