This fight is a relic now that will never happen again. Necron ships were dealing x4 more dmg on unfair and this is fixed now with latest patch (12/21/2023). When I played/recorded this fight they were nearly impossible to destroy. It was by far the hardest fight in the entire game. For those that will ask why I'm running away from them, it's very simple, they deal around 1k dmg per ship per round (4-5k in total per round) while I had 280hp.
I've started on hard with an commissar officer build as was one of your recommandations, but I will go for inorocard, netural alignment. Story wise, what are the best companions to have ? Is it better to play dogmatic as my first playthough with your psycker tank officer ? I'm not that deep in, just got Heindrix and I already read everything until now so I can easily restart.
Cassia is a must have regardless of party composition, Argenta/Yrilet for ranged dps, Heinrix/Marazhai for melee dps (can also use ideria for buffs/debuffs/magic dmg), Abelard/Ulfar for tank, Pascal is great for tech-use/logic checks and useful for debuffing/wiping the map with plasma guns. Since you are an officer you don't really need Jae ever but she is useful as a skill monkey for checks. Every companion is useable with the right talents main thing to focus on is who will fullfill what skill checks you need which can be tedious and require planning.

it depends how you build your chars. Cassio is probably the easiest to make super op without knowing much.

@@CountTonac I'm level 16 and atm only Argenta does damage, all other are just buffers
I saw InEffect do this fight on stream a few days ago, before the patch nerfed them. Might be a bit premature to call yours the world first.
This was done almost 20 days ago!
I just uploaded vid yesterday.
It's bugged so update to latest patch os a must.
Relic vid :D
