I feel like this games marketing was like…..total shit lol I had no idea what this was until SM2 made me obsessed with 40k lore, and I subsequently found this. Just an absolute gem of a game especially to compliment SM2
@@Ghostrebel017 Late response but outside of Rogue Traders and weird Inquisitors no one else gets the chance to be Iconoclastic without having their noggins knocked.
Tips: cassio has talent called mastery of time that raise fel everytime a creature get a turn, combined with navy officer get into cover that make everyone around navy officer gets extra turn. This means if you have abelrach and navy officer rogue trader. On turn 1 you can have 10+ stack/ 50 fellowship bonus on cassio which resulting to better achtype buff Another tips is bounty hunter precise shooting has a talent that raise per everytime you hit with that skill. What game doesnt tell you that it persist even after combat until you return to voidship or reload the game
I have always LOVED games like the O.G. X-com UFO Defense, and have played games like Wasteland 3 over 400 hours. beat X-com WotC and Jagged Alliance 2 and 3 many times over, I bought what I thought would be my new favorite games last Saturday, Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader. I've never played anything that was Warhammer 40-K (Only played the MMO Warhammer Age of Reckoning) so there is a big problem. I simple do not understand what is going on, it ask me to make my first character but it didn't even explain to me why I should pick a certain world, a certain spec or a certain type of spec point. I'm going to try and power through and just take it as a learning XP, on my first play through. Great video, it did help me a good bit but still there are some things that have just went over my head but I have a large amount of XP in turn based games (My favorite genre) so I'm hoping to understand pretty quick. Thumbs up.

Please help me out with something. I want to play this game two times, first as a ranged dps on the second to last difficulty and then as a melee powerhouse on unfair, what convictions/classes are best suited for this ?

Play starting on a low difficulty, the numbers and stats will be mostly meaningless but it'll help you learn what they all do intuitively and when you feel like you're overpowered and are understanding the mechanics bump the difficulty up a notch
@@grindcoreninja6527 yes, i expected the game to be something like a x-com in RPG elements but its not, and is completely fine if it dont work for me and does for you. is just that the game is too in-depth and i have no time to learn all of this.
it's a shame that whenever a new game drops everybody just wants to constantly engineer all the fun out of a game of figuring it all . there should never be such a thing as having a "Perfect Start" to a game that you have never even played yet...just more evidence that contributes to the notion the Modern Gaming is Dead. and yeah yeah , I know i know most of you are thinking right know "well if you don't like it you don't have to use the guide" of course of course, but there are so many of these Rogue Trader Guides popping up in my feed, that I can't help but to at least comment on how sad and pathetic this all is. take my advice guys don't read the guides before you even purchase the game, don't buy gold in MMO's half of the fun guys is figuring it all out on your own, not having your hand held as you start your journey, only after being stuck on a boss for like two or three days will I even consider, that I just might peak a a guide...don't all these guide makers take away all of the joy of finally figuring it all out away from you.

Sm2 also pulled me in the whole 40k rabbit hole haha. The lore is so good and these games help a lot with immersing yourself in the universe.
We probably won't get another expansive RPG like this with incredible lore and writing like this for awhile, so I say we support this 🎉
I love the Iconoclast conviction. I think more 40k media should explore it.
Iconoclast is boring and all who follow it should be sacrificed to the chaos gods or burned in the emperor's glory

The fact that it goes away on a reload of the game tells me it is probably not supposed to do that.
whos cassio?

Thank you for explaining what to do with spare weapons and armours
Its a great game ... I kinda wish it came out a few years ago though - so there would be more DLC or a sequel by now.

Range dps=soldier, melee tank=warrior, conviction for both Dogmatic. U gotta purge the heretics
