I like calling out the wincons at the start. Even though I'm not the most well versed in magic, looking at a decklist and being able to say 'oh yeah, that's how this wins' is tough.
Me and a friend split a box and Edward was on my wishlist. Pulled him! Then same friend offered me the Ixalan pirate precon which was necessary to build him. Been a blast to goldfish and can't wait to see what it does when I can steal cards from other players. Thanks for the tech!
I appreciate the new layout of the video with clear section to what the deck can do. And if i dont have the cards in one section i can adapt by putting a card i owned with the same strategy.
thank god you made a deck tech on this commander i was about to buy a god damn ragavan. excellent base i will most likely copy it but have more interaction to suit my own meta. love the deck techs keep them coming
Another spicy finisher in this deck would be worldfire. Yes it costs 9 mana, but we will have a ton of treasure tokens anyway. As long as there are 1 or 2 small creatures in exile we can probably win with this. Just sacrifice all treasures for mana before casting it, then bring these creatures on the field. Next turn just take 2 people out, maybe all 3.
An interesting Vehicle for the deck would be the Cybership from the Doctor Who set. Fat 8/8 flying Vehicle that turns the top two cards of the opponents deck into 2/2 Cyberman when it connects, which are artifact creatures. Doesn't have trample so it is pretty easily chump blocked, unfortunately.
Not sure why you'd leave out a WinCon like revel in riches... Sure it's low hanging fruit and is going to be targeted 100% of the time but still this is the most on flavor way to win that one can think of 😁
It’s just a personal preference I’ve never liked cards that say “win the game” in my decks. You are 100% right! You’ll snag a couple wins with that card if you throw it in this deck 😁
Pirates are outlaws. Not mercenaries. I enjoyed this format. Having everything organized like this makes for a solid understanding of each step ofcthe idea for the deck.
Brooo, LFGGGGG, my FAVORITE Assassin, I "built" him by throwing him into the Ixalan precon, added more vehicles as I made some cuts, and the one must add was Time Sieve, for unlimited turns.

I appreciate the feedback! I think this will become the new format for my deck techs!
Thanks for beating me to this lol
I think Edward is one of the more interesting commanders from AC def gonna build this list it looks fun!
Done it.
Definitely very fun
Layout was great! Keep it up!
Thank you I appreciate the feedback ❤️

That’s awesome! I think this guy is going to surprise some people and smash some pods!

Loving the new format. Its really helpful to understand the ins and out of the deck.

Will do 💪 I’m glad you’re enjoying the content!
I hit infinite Time Sieve-marionette master in my first game with this deck, it felt so good.
Sounds fun 🥱
I see a big part of the pirates precon in this lol good thing I already have it 🤣
This decklist is missing Indomitable Creativity... trading treasure for creatures and artifacts from your deck is *chef's kiss*
"Ran out of good pirate ships.." My guy, you can't forget about Fell Flagship or Conqueror's Galleon!
Been looking for this video!!
Was gonna build Breya, but I found this commander at my LGS!

You’re a monster! that kinda funny 🤣
7:15 you were talking about malcolm scoundrel but shows keen eyed navigator
Heck yeah! Edward Kenway!!
🎉
Any double strike effects work well here.

Thx for the tips, like the new changes
Heck yea! I appreciate the feedback back ❤️
Sounds like a very fun deck. Thank you, Caleb! :)
Thank you 😁
Imma toss goldspan dragon into this deck for sure
With all of the legendaries with powerful effects, thoughts on helm of the host in this list?
This and the mardu commander were the 2 that i thought was the most interesting of commanders.
making this deck now but with less creatures and more instants because it makes so many treasures
Dope deck
Ah-day Wah-lay
Adéwalé. Great deck but that hurt me in the soul a lil bit 😅
I'd like to see an Altair deck
It’s on the channel 😁
@@decktechsfordecks whattt ? where?
Did you purposely avoid time sieve? It’s super easy to take infinite turns with it in an Edward kenway deck
Yes I try to avoid extra turns in casual
Would tezzeret fit into this deck nicely? I picked up the bloomburrow secret lair and after re reading him he seems to fit in well
Wait, you said his abilities proc in the command zone? How would that work? His card doesn't say they proc in the command zone
Not "in the command zone," but rather, he'll always be found in the command zone.

Thank you 😁

Try throwing in transmutation font and cheat out crazy vehicles lol
What no Reaver Titan in the vehicle list.

I definitely misspoke there 😅
I’m glad you enjoyed the format! This is definitely going to become the new format going forward. 😁
@decktechsfordecks the funny thing is you said it right the first time and then misspoke the second time.
What power level is this deck?It looks stron but Im new to commander
Thabk you :)
😁
Edward is only combo deck, only with treasure token
great deck, but please look at the camera my guy
I’ll see what I can do haha I’m glad you enjoyed the deck 😁
Players should lose 5 life for each card that is off theme 😂
