Doug, love your style of play and the stakes you play at. Both are very relatable. I love how you are super consistent with putting out the vlogs! Keep up the great work and hopefully the exposure on the Lodge live stream will push you north of 10K subscribers!
Doug, I like the fact that your episodes come out on Sundays most often. Everybody else seems to be Monday so, there’s a lot of different vloggers content that day. Most often, yours is the only one that’s out on Sunday which might be getting you more viewers. Just a thought.
I bet 2/3 to 75% after hitting the flush on the turn (rather than < 1/3). I also bet larger or check with A4dd bdfd and bottom pair (though a small bet is probably fine to fold out overcards, etc.). That was an insanely good call. I do think that better weak hands (a hand like K9) will probably just check and take the equity. TT: I think that if you are up against a player to whom you have to fold to a check-raise on the flop, you should just check back on the button. Having to fold an overpair on a board with so many draws is a terrible result.
TT. His raise means he can beat my hand. He didn’t bet on the come all day long. At best I was flipping but I was likely way behind. Not losing too much equity so folding is easy.
When someone raises pre you dont flat call with the dead mans hand Ace/8, youre asking to lose your stack, so its not a bad beat, its a very poorly played hand by the guy who lost his stack, hope youre well Doug, regards Fraser
Thanks for your recommendation! Got CLSK for right timing!
Please do make recommendations often!
Hold on to it, this next year is going to be fun!
Great play Doug. Thanks for the stock tip. great Video.
Thank you and your welcome. 😀

Much appreciated! If I catch some cards and play well, I do expect my sub count to improve.
Great content as always
Glad you enjoyed it
Good to see you run well, nice that you don't have to count on it. Hope it goes at least that well in Texas! 🤠
Me too! it would be wonderful to go on a little rush.
I don't like the TT hand. Check on the flop is better IMHO.
Nice sessions man. Love the channel ❤
Checking is a good line, I mix up my play with bets and checks.
thanks GL at the LODGE
Thanks Bart, should be exciting.
Solid play as usual, Doug! Thx for your insight as usual. Looking forward to the Lodge live stream! 🍀👍
Thanks, need to sharpen my game to prepare for the lodge.
Congrats on hitting 9k subscribers, Doug!
Yay!! 10k here we come.
I will cheer you on at The Lodge
Positive energy goes a long ways. Thanks
Another great vlog! Good luck with your next session and with hitting 9K subs!
Thanks so much!! 9k down, 10k here we come.

I think Sundays are a good day for releasing, only have to compete with Football. 😀
@@dougmccuskerpoker Sunday mornings with Doug, Sunday afternoons with the NFL.
Always enjoy Sunday mornings for your videos nice win 😊
Thank you 😀. I appreciate your support!
9 ways to a flop… that’s called a bomb pot Doug. 😹😹😹
The table joked about a $3 bomb pot.
Had the roughest session ever last night 😭
We all have those days, just focus on playing well.
You make it 20 in early position, the donkey calls with A8 os , he calls the flop..I need to move to the West Coast 😉
Loose call indeed.

Good luck at the Lodge.
Thinking back to the Q4hh hand. Do you ever show a bluff? Why or why not?
I normally never show. The main reason is that it may confirm a read my opponent might have, I would rather keep him guessing.
Nice couple of sessions, Doug. I like that you reeled in a loose player who had A8. Well played, sir. Good luck out there, buddy.
Thanks, nice that the cooler was in my favor.
Always enjoy your play. Good luck 🎉🎉
Thank you 😀
18:12 Beware of SHORT stack!! I lost tonnes to short stacks...just b/c 1) you cannot bluff them and 2) you cannot force them out when ahead.
Well played, you are doing well. Good luck for the stream. Do they tell you the line up for the stream beforehand?
Thanks, what ever line up is there, I will play my best and hopefully do well.
Oh my god, the five of clubs 5:02
what a card!!
Always enjoyable, looking forward to livestream, hope you run clean and spark a big win😊👍.
I hope so too. The game plays very big. I’m a little nervous, but that is to be expected.
@dougmccuskerpoker I've never been intimidated by well-known pros. They get 2 cards just like we do. Just play your game, and it will be fine.
My guy!
Good morning, and happy Sunday Doug!
Morning! Thanks for tuning in!
Nice vlog as usual. We're not raising 77 from the BB? That may have been a bigger pot and we generate a little fold equity
Raising is an option, I mix some raises and calls from the BB. This time it was a call.
👽👍🏾
🐕😀
This is why you don't call with weak A's. Either raise or fold.
Very true, I think the previous hand made him chase.

He wanted revenge from the previous hand, cost him the max
