- Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont have some of the greenest trails in the United States. On this adventure, we head up the east coast into Canada, crossing one of the most remote border crossings from Maine into Quebec.

It seems like 95% of the overland videos I watch take place in the desert, which isn't really interesting to me. New England is beautiful. Thank for showing it to me.
Thanks! I’m going to be honest, I love the desert. No bugs, no humidity for camping, and great colors!
@@RevereOverland Lol. OK, I understand the bug thing but I'll take trees instead of rocks any day.
My wife is the same way. She'd rather spend time in the forest... Although she HATES bugs!
Just so you know, the 5 second rule doesn't apply when you have a 3 second dog!
Funny, I thought when I first found the channel that it might be related to Revere, MA. But then I'm from the area... glad to see you showing off some of New England!
This started playing randomly when I was prepping dinner (I mostly watch outdoor videos) I started listening and seemed interesting then ended up watching. Good job, well made and easy to watch. You got a subscriber
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
That was an awesome flight !! Thanks for the ride along brother......
That locomotive is just insane !!!! Good for you to keep going
It was really cool to see. I wish everyone else could have come along too, but we had no clue how far it would be.
awesome job with the video on your amazing trip , trains are amazing . been there three times ,so many ways to go up there
Lived in Boston in the 90s absolutely my favorite city so much history and things to do
Welcome to my neck of the woods, I live on the east coast. So I hope you enjoyed your trip!
Just came across this channel. I live in Maine and the insects were terrible in 2019. I hope it isn't so bad this year. I've got the same Smittybilt tent on my truck. Looking forward to warmer weather.
Whistling candy to drive the parents nuts 😂😂
Welcome to New England!
Thanks!
Amazing! 🔥
Well done sir!!! Keep up the good work!
Thanks!
I go often to the Portland Head lighthouse also known as Fort Williams. They have a great off leash dog area there.
You were about ... 3 miles away from my house when you went to the Portland Head light. In fact, many people come to my neighborhood because they put in their GPS "Lighthouse, Cape Elizabeth" and - well, the Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse is my neighbor's house. Congrats on finding the right one :P
Haha I learned that lesson heading to Big Bend national park. Always carry extra gas even if you think you won't need it. I hypermiled behind semi trucks and pulled into the station on fumes, middle of the night with no cell service.
Driving right through my neighborhood. Revere is two towns over.
As recent retirees, NE overlanding is on our list. Thanks for the preview. By the way. AppiLATCHcian. Think of a door latch. Thanks for the tip on the mosquitos, we'll have to plan around them.
That's where I live in Quebec I use my RV in the winter one diesel heater nice and toasty
Hey thanks for the upload. Ill watch the full video later but I’m in a hurry.. Just moved to Mass, can you recommend some good trails or over landing areas in mass or New England? I’m sure you mention in the video but I’m in a rush
The entire North Maine Woods area has a ton of exploring, and not a single gas station! Vermont and New Hampshire have great trails too.
I love my GX470 dearly, but this video really makes me to considering selling my GX and picking up an LX.
GX470s are excellent vehicles! The LX470s just have a little more space, and a little more comfort!
lol the Mosquito compete with Black Flies for Maine's state bird. Spring time in Maine is pretty thick with them.
Digging back through some of your footage I found a night time shot of you under your awning @29:07 - Love the set up with the bug screen! Who is the manufacture? Cheers
It's all ARB
Parking in Boston is always an adventure.
We were there on Boston Pride Day too, so it was even more difficult because of all the street closures!
Hello, what is the brand and model of the travel trailer? I dont see it listed on your website under the equipment list. Thanks!
It’s home built: ua-cam.com/video/NfDHtPHi_8s/v-deo.html
@@RevereOverland that's an amazing built. Thanks!
revere? are you from revere ma? if so i live in medford.
Beautiful places. Friend, what is the name of the suction cup mount for the vhf radio? I need to install mine but I don't want to drill into my board. Greetings from Chile!🇨🇱
It’s from Ram Mounts
@@RevereOverland Thanks
How was the water, cold? Welcome to New England!
Yes! Very!
Which size of all terrain tire Lexus has? Does it fit on Lexus under body spare tire holder?
I've got the details here: www.revereoverland.com/lexus
The tire fits in the spare location, but barely!
🤙🏾 nice
Fallow you from France
Nice job
Thanks for watching!
Was up in my LX in the Maine north woods around the same time last year. Those bugs sucked!
Great vehicle to do it in though!
@@RevereOverland it sure is! Love it a lot
I own a couple private off road campsites your welcome to use in southern NH. If you return to the area feel free to reach out.
At Nashua ?
Portland resident here! Cool to see this
How much did that gas cost him at the Maine logging camp?
I don’t remember, but I think it was $4-5 a gallon!
Why do you have a bag that says NICE?
Is this a Re-upload as i feel like i've watched it before .
I think this is the full movie, instead of the several part videos
@@BernonCars Oh that makes sense now
Yeah it is. Last time it didn’t get much traction. Now the channel has over twice the subscribers, and UA-cam promotes longer videos better, so I’m giving it another shot! I’m out videoing new content this weekend though!
Welcome to my state Massachusetts
Awesome state! Great seafood, and interesting history.
Your best video to date, just a bit too long. You should have broken it up into 3 or 4 videos. That is all my former back yard!
Thanks. I did break it down - this is a rerelease of a series from last summer!
IT sa goal to make to the locomotives, someday..
Ooh someone get that girl some braces poor thing is covering her smile that took me back to my pre braces years☹️
Thanks for making this vid it let me know not to waist the time going up there. there were not much as far as great views when you were driving it seemed like you were down in and surrounded by brush most the time. then when you did get to a few of spots you were accosted by every nasty insect nature had to offer. and when you can see it on camera that bad you know it's really bad in person. your wife looked really bored and totally not interested at all the only time you saw any kind of excitement out of her was when she saw that gross food, Maby that should be a warning of what is to come from her. sometimes traveling is best with a friend that thinks what you do as a adventure not as she described it at one point as being in prison, just because you think you love some one does not mean they are worth your time. life goes fast make sure it enjoyable not just tolerable.
And the most pessimistic view on earth goes toooooo
Starbucks = 🤮
Wawa = ❤️
Gross????? Fresh Poutine is the best.
Lol! Maybe we got it from the wrong place?
So Overlanding in the USA is just driving around in SUVs and going to restaurants?
Poutine is gross ? Thats war. You've offended all canada 😂
Hahaha!
Instead of New England Overland, this should have been New England Tarmac. A Honda CRV would have probably done 99% of this with 2x the gas mileage.
A Honda CRV could have done all of it. The only thing it would need is decent tires to deal with the rough roads - you can guarantee a flat if you go to the North Maine Woods with street tires.
@@RevereOverland That's that problem I feel with East Coast overland (I lived in Maryland for years). You either have really hard trails or some really easy stuff. Out west you have trails and tracks across the entire spectrum of remoteness and difficulty.
I agree. Here in Kentucky we have a great range of trails. I will say that in making this video I drove more miles on unpaved roads than I did in my Expedition Utah video. The difference is that a lot of it looks really similar in the forest, so it doesn't come across as hundreds of miles. In Utah the scenery changes over every hill.
@@bobbyexpeditiongradejohnso5624 one of the reasons I hate living in New England. It's beautiful here, but it seems like if you want to off-road you either need a full on trail rig, or you're just on dirt roads you could do in an Outback. I have a 4Runner just like Revere's, and I don't even try to go out with the Jeep clubs, they mostly do hardcore stuff that will completely destroy this thing.
