    Pro tip.... when winching someone else, put your transmission in neutral with foot on the brake and e-brake if needed. You dont want to pull against the parking pawl that hold the truck in park. Same theory when parking on a hill. Let the truck rest on the ebrake not the parking pawl. Epic video serious!! Love the content.

    • @RevereOverland
      @RevereOverland  4 роки тому +2

      Yup. Always on the brakes, never the transmission! I even had Elizabeth in the drivers seat because having a foot on the brakes is better than the parking brake.

    No need to bust through water holes like that, especially when there is an obvious hard bottom. It is not good stewardship and, unfortunately, all to common in overlander videos.

      @@RevereOverland Yes. I wasn't talking about the fish. I was referring to how the soft ground gets rutted up and punched out.

      Gotcha. I thought it was odd you pointed out the mistake I acknowledged in the video! For what it’s worth, I’m not sure exactly how fast I was going, but I was in low range and definitely going under 10mph. It was too fast anyway. I misjudged it rather than hit it as fast as I could!

    Why would you drag all that back into the woods? As a Wyoming resident I would laugh my ass off watching that circus drive by. Never take a trailer if you don't know the road. You should have stayed home or at the damn koa. My goodness. Green river lakes would have been better than that.

      Yet it took absolutely no damage! That trailer is built tougher than the vehicles.

      It's a military trailer, it's what it was designed for!
