Y’all keep dropping these epic trips. This one definitely hit all of me and my wife’s necessities ... off the beaten track traffic detours, fresh seafood, camp areas with almost no other campers, and lighthouses. I am about to start part 2 and I can’t wait to see what you share.
Have lived in Georgia for the last 20 years but Maine will always be my home. Beauty as far as the eye can see. Great video and cant wait for the rest of them
Glad you didn't have to sacrifice anything and that campground! Traffic issues in New England? That's a given. We lived north of Boston for 28 years. I proposed to my wife on Cadillac Mountain at Sunrise 7/28/96 and we got married 2/14/97. I don't miss that traffic at all! But I do miss the backcountry byways and covered bridges! Thanks for the memories! It's Bah Hobah byw... 🙂
@@CoddiwompleOverland well dang that longer then I'd thought .. great videos as always .. been doing a lil more adventures myself .. thanks for all the quality info .
My first ( of many to come) video of yours. Loved the tour, bucket list for sure. Great music choice for the rock town segment. Thanks Jimmy for sharing! You guys look great on camera! I'm hooked.
You guys came to Maine and find have a lobster dinner or at least a lobster roll? Tourist card revoked. I’m kidding. It’s awesome seeing what others find interesting here.
First welcome to my home state recognized a lot of the places you showed hope while you're in the north maine woods you go find the ghost trains have fun
Was looking forward to this series. I’m clueless when it comes to the north east USA. Some really cool shots and looks like a really fun tour. Looking forward to see the mud next week. Thanks again!
Great video as usual. 14 days let's you hit some highlights. Like most of the countries scenic area's. Being a mainah we have hit alot of highlights. Trying to hit more backcountry areas. Did 5 days in the nmw awhile back barely hit the tip of iceberg of what we wanted to see. Downeast were you folks traveled through has miles of backroads and lakes to adventure through. Going get back to nmw and downeast next season. Lots to see. Happy trails. 👍
I live in Maryland and I think we may have been up there in Acadia at the same time based on when this video was posted. We were up there the 7th through the 9th.
We recently did a similar trip to Maine. I've always wanted to go there and finally made it. It's sure a beautiful state. We ended up cutting our visit a bit shout due to rain and equipment issues. Hoping to go back again, maybe next year. Would love to see your waypoints.
I have traveled the coast of Maine many times for vacations but never for overlanding. What information can you offer for navigation through here. What system do you use?
Great video as always... if you like covered bridges and lighthouses then you need to come to New Brunswick Canada... we are Maine's neighbour(or neighbor as you would spell it😁) we have 58 covered bridges(including the longest in the world in Hartland) and 60 lighthouses within our little province alone... and did i mention we have the highest tides in the world in the Bay of Fundy... eastern Canada is an awesome place to explore... check out North Bound Expeditions UA-cam channel... Virgil is an army vet and an avid overlander... i'm in between rigs right now but if you ever make the trip i'll be sure to have a rig ready... Cheers!
Blueberry beer on the Acadia beach! Yes please! It's been years since I have been to Maine. I enjoyed you taking me back! Thank You!
Thanks for coming along.
That lobster shack looked incredible!
Oh, it was so good!

Cool!
Great video. We wanted to make it to Acadia over the summer but we didn’t make it. Hopefully 2023 sees us headed that way

We use Gaia and pretty much just wander around. If we have trouble finding campsites we will look on I Overlander.
Hey Will! Great video as usual! Quick question, was Kelly in the Coast Guard?
Thanks and yes he is retired Coast Guard

Honestly, what you all use for bathroom stops?
Thetford cassette toilet. Or the woods.
Did you get a shout out on gmrs when you were going through Sandy Hook
Yes we did!
@@CoddiwompleOverland that was me. Didn’t realize until I watched the video and remembered the red ram. Watched your videos before.
