“This is a drumset video, not a tenor video.”
*proceeds to play jig 2*
I wish I were Eric’s neighbor. This is how I want to wake up in the morning.
I’m sure they would gladly trade places with you
I trade one of his neighbors with his entire neighborhood 😂
I would tell Eric to have a good morning.
He actually did it again bro WHAT
In Germany we have a thing called „Schlagzeugwagen“ with weels on it. This is more back-friendly 😊
This! No bass drum tho
Popular perception is right. German car makers really are geniuses.
@@Rasgore4 They are custom built - so you could have it. But nobody would order here because you are playing indoor sometimes. And some doors are really narrow 😊
Most pronouncable word in German
@@ryan_1314 😅
I know someone who would kill to play that while marching
Auxiliary Percussion tenors
Auxenors
When you picked up the set and starting moving with it, it reminded me of some of my first rockets in Kerbal Space Program before I discovered struts LOL
Good morning! This is video #97 of me asking for a drumline gym made out of various marching percussion instruments, such as the tenor barbell, and bass dumbbells.
First comment!
I like this idea.
👀👀👀
Comment made me think of a guy near me in Parrot, GA who incorporates mallet percussion in the playgrounds he designs. There are two here in Albany, GA I used to frequent with my stepson/daughter. An all weather marimba makes any playground better! His name is Bond Anderson, and the company is called Soundplay. Great video as usual!
This is like something that I could see the corps of the early 1970's marching because they didn't have perc pits. Dude, this is amazing and hilarious at the same time!😊 Love it!
Theres something special about the sound of drums and cymbals outside
Turn inflatables/pooltoys into drums.
I did make a drum beat test by using the bigger toy as a bass drum, shipping bag as a snare drum, fingernail click as a hi-hat and deflating a valve as a cymbal.
After that: I only use a pooltoy as a bass drum on every songs I recorded.
You might not think this is possible, but at one point a few years back, a random company that I don't know the name of did have some inflatable electronic drums that were a kits toy on display at an event someware. They had electronic pads and played drum sounds and other stuff from the speakers.
EMC: "It has never been possible to play a drumset while marching"
Drum cart: "Hold my beer"
electronic pads bluetooth receiving to monitoring system setup in the front ensemble: hold my beer
@@snared_ E-kit with wireless: hold my beer
HOLY CRAP YOU ACTUALLY DID IT
Just saw this this is funny
Video 215 of asking for a Video of you playing exactly 69420 Notes
205 to go
the drums jiggling around is so goofy!!
Just look a Guggenmusik video of Switzerland there is something called „Schlagzeugwagen“ that thing is on wheels and more back friendly😂
That drum fill in the beginning was fucking awesome. Bro turned the ph theme into metal lol
EMC does marching timpani! EMC turns car into mega drum vehicle! Stringed drums! Marching Cajon! Marching bongos/congas. Marching baby harness! The possibilities are endless!
I marched crossmen 1993 and the entire tenor line basically had a version of this for all of the winter camps and a few weeks on tour. Mark Thurston decided he wanted us on quads instead -- it was heavy as hell but still a good time. Great vid friend.
Imagine a rotating marching rig, on one side is the snare, the other side tenors, and the other is snare. Whenever you want you can rotate it to whatever one you want lmao
Better yet - gyroscopically stabilized ring around you, so that no matter how you move, the drums are locked in orientation relative to the floor. You could run in circles for an endless drum fill!
@@VectorKappa LMFAO thats great
I didn’t realize how silly it looked for the drums to wiggle and wobble but now I do and it’s hilarious 😂
Fun video. Good beats!
Dude! Bravo 👏 This might be one of just favorite videos you’ve ever made. That must have been a beast to March with at 60 lbs 😮
Also, with everything so loose and jiggly it constantly looked like it was about to fall apart 😂
For a minute I thought he already made a tenor - drumset but I thought about it and he must have made a drumset with tenors 😂 so many ideas !🤣
Eric, there is a Fairfield Marriot commercial you need to transcribe. It's got lots of drums
The cowbell is a great addition
Ok, Eric, you win. This is your greatest video ever.
The ultimate challenge: marching 4 timpani
Either do 4 timpanos or 1 timpani
YOU DID IT THANK YOU
Marching hand drums would be cool. Maybe bongos and congas set up like tenors.
yes ive been asking for this
Babe wake up, Emcproductions uploaded a new video
It would be cool to see you compose a song using children's instruments lol
This is why you are my favorite UA-cam drummer. By far.
Dude this is epoch! I love it. Too cool!
Day 2 of our quest for the ultimate tenor flub line! My idea would be to take apart a set of tenors. Each of the drums would go on their own carrier or stand. Each player would get their own notes like a bass line or like normally play a set of tenors.
i remember asking for this a long long time ago. happy to see it happen 😂
That is actually sick. As always
Oh hecks nah, you are going to add symbals now.
Years ago i went from a huge drumset to a much smaller kit because i was sick of lugging it around to gigs. This puts a whole new spin on that idea.
He should try and win a medal with this
The Underground theme was awesome!
YESSS!!! Thank you for finally making this!!!!! 🐔
Just want to appreciate how unbelievably awesome the audio of the drums is outside
Start playing drum covers with this thing. (Edit) WITH DRILL
Nice to hear drums that sound like drums
Loved the P.H. tribute. As far as the march kit goes very cool and also painful
YES, my dream has come true, DRUMSETENORS
All hail to the Chenor drums (chicken+tenors=chenors)
Love you my man
gonna need to hear some covers on this set up lol
Add some supports for the kit, should be some simple clamps on the bottom of the shells with some taught fishing line. And then ~30# weight to the back of the harness to help the balance offset. Yes... way more heavier, but possibly more stable.
Must admit it does sound great.
THANK YOUUU
Yes another cool category for you to win another First Place medal this year!!!!!!! Looking forward to it brother!!!!!!!!!!
It's not a drum set video, it's not a tenor drum video, it's a denor kit video
Turn tambourines into marching tenor drums
This is the type of thing you would see in a dr seus book lol
Let's go. He always makes cool contraptions into tenors.
Reminded me of when i saw a video of a Japanese marching band have some type of drumset/tenor hybrid
They had a snare drum where drum 4 would be, the rest of toms in a drum set configuration like in this video, and a crash and ride cymbal
But I like how you incorporated the bass drum, the snare as the spock, and the hi-hat. Cowbell was a nice touch too
I like how the drums were jamming out while he was playing on them
That was so sick
"This is a drumset video, not a tenor video"
*plays jig 2*
Awesome!😊😮!
Well your legs survived! No he is not going outside with it.
Drum go boom!
This better show up at that drum corps stage thing you did last summer with the one person drumline.
Always fun to watch an EMC production 🤘🤘🤘😂
I bet your neighbors just LOVE you....
Dude, never ever go to a chiropractor. I have heard horror stories about those people.
Just like a real drum set man. Adding cowbells, upgrading hi hats. Soon you'll have that 4th tom tom.
This may be a little odd, but I want to see something like McDonalds cups made into mini-tenors. I used to work there, and my younger brother plays tenors, so I had this idea. The selection includes:
Large, medium, small, small small, extra small, the oatmeal and sundae cups, and McFlurry cup. I think it’s be kinda bad as a tenor set, but I want to see it
Put some bass drum heads on a couple of Souaphone bells, it would look like set of North Drum Quads.
I’d love to see a two person marching marimba! Like, side by side the same way two people play marimba…except mounted to two carriers so your sharing the weight.
Maybe without the resonators…
I love how this channel is like "Poor Things" but with drums... It's just experiments all over the place.
We just need more goats.
Make a marching tenor out of mallet instruments but the bars are in circles and each "drum" is a different type of mallet bar, like drum 4 is a circle of marimba bars, drum 3 xylophone, drum 1 vibraphone, spock glockenspiel
This guy is crazzzzeeeeee lolol
You should play caravan on it
This is exactly what Sabian had in mind when they released the Stratus range 😂
Awesome dude. I suggest trying to make adjustments and what not, then I want to see you play bleed by Meshuggah on these
Good Morning! You should totally do triangle tenors
🎉
would love to see the spockenspiel get the marching drum treatment
Tenors out of playable spoons. Really tests your accuracy.
This is video number 9 I think of me asking you to make a snare drum a bass drum, maybe snases?
Beautiful lol
Oh nah nah , YOu are not going to flip. See you trolling me for real.
It looks like the drum set ups from those drum apps
Let’s see matching cajons
We need a new pad review video🙌🏽
Fr
MARCH THE RACK
You should find a few marching timps like we had when I marched D.C.I. back in the day. (and anything else that was
played because there was no front ensemble) If you played it, you carried it.
“Sir your injuries were not drum corps related”
Well this isn’t a drum, but it is percussion…. How about creating a marching chime? 😂
Some people thought it’s impossible to play crash on a ride.
My school used to have something similar
love the vids, man, i also gmailed you something earlier
This is video #37 of requesting Eric to do another "Behind the Gock Block" Episode.
The last episode was 10-20-2020! It's time for Eric to bring back all of his characters!
Marching tenor woodblocks. Marching chromatic woodblocks.
Cool idea the only difference I would have done is put the kick drum on the back like the one man band system. Have the kick powered from the leg too. That might balance up the setup.
Please don't die sir.
Well at least you know I watched the whole video.
