In March 2018, Southern 2-8-0 #630 and 2-8-2 #4501 participated in a 2-day Lerro Productions photo charter at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum in Chattanooga, TN. The first day featured runbys on the 3-mile museum line, while the second day saw the doubleheader travel from Chattanooga to Summerville, GA. This video has highlights from both days of operation.

I wish to thank you for sharing this awesome Railroad video with me .
Excellent. This video is nothing short of absolute brilliance 👌.
Here is a beautiful steam train !
Great camera & sound... Wish steamers were all still around us everywhere..Thanks Lerro...
One of the very best charters i have ever seen and the cameo sequences are magnificent. We have them in England as well but this is truly exceptional. Very well done!
Rode the Summerville Special this summer. 1st class tourist run. 9 hours, 8 in transit, feels like a real trip with every different view you really see on a travel ticket in the US. Cars are in immaculate condition. Locomotives are too.
Just last Sunday I rode over to Summerville to see the doublehead arrive, turn the locos around and leave. I then went up to that last shot at downtown Trion to catch that runby.
Excellent weather. They have one more run on Veterans Day. If you're close, buy the ticket. You won't regret it.
Fantastic video! Great😊
We could listen to that all day. Thank you
this is absolutely first class. I love the small country lines and stations thankyou so very much for posting,
Wow, this is one of the best steam videos I've ever seen. Seriously.
Yep!!
A lot of steam, nice whitsles sounds awesome. makes me want for the good old of bygone era. thanks again for all the memories.Pennsy lover and loco lover forever
Love the touch of vintage autos too
IT'S RETARDED.
SO IS YO MOMMA
Užasný video!!! Nádherná přehlídka parního stroje...
Great video, love the antique cars.
Love those horns & engines. Thank you
Hello from Finland! This video is professional. 🖒
Great video takes. 😀😀Wow that airhorn is so 😎cool. Brings me back good memories. Nostalgia.
Thank you.
to those who made this video.
you are now relieved from the burdens of life on earth and may immediately ascend to the heavens above. 🤗
Beauty! Locomotives are divine.
Wonderfulllll!!!!!!!
Bellísimo vídeo!. Te transporta a épocas mejores. Gracias por publicarlo.
I LOVE STEAM LOCOMOTIVES!!!! :-D
Followed the action at the museum on live webcam. Great to see a well produced video from the charter. Great shots without (most) modern items and with era automobiles. Well done.

One of the best train videos on youtube
1:04 to 1:10 sends chills down my spine. Put new meaning into "That's hot!".
Hola , hermoso vídeo, hermoso paisaje , que lugar tan lindo para vivir. Gracias. La casita vieja del cruce que linda está, y la casita roja del tren que tierna.
I love it very much~. 👍👍👍
This is a Great video !! That sounds like a old Baltimore and Ohio whistle .
Lovely simply!
Wish they still did that
Nice video
The vintage cars were a nice touch.
Piece of history ❤❤🚂🚂
That was an era when time didn't fly like it does in modern times. Watch between 4:19 and 5.29 man waiting for the train to approach and pass then cross the tracks although he had plenty of time to move over to the other side. Right now, we're in a rat race. A race against time to nowhere.
Absolutely magnificent, well planned obviously with the heritage automobiles and other classic backdrops adding superb extra enhancements to the complete audio visual, an absolute delight to watch on a 75" TV screen with full surround sound turned up. I have watched many of your videos. They are wonderful. I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to seeing many more of your top quality videos. Thank you so much. Greetings from Train Lord in South Australia
630 could stand in as a Southern Pacific locomotive with that whistle!
Great video James. Was upset that I couldn't make it to this charter.
Good nice videos! Thank you!☺
Steam locomotive engine is a king of Railway dept. And our tradition. Also steam engine is a significant symbol of World Railway Dept. All time this engine is new..
Good morning
Awesome
630 and 4501 were pulling the freight train for photographers
Jack Salvin i’m pretty sure a movie set as well
Tri State Railfan ProductionsTM I see.
They need to get with the antique auto owners who show their cars at the monthly car get-together, like the fellow who has the 193X Cadillac Opera Coupe with a $4,000 a gallon Moss Green paint job.
Nice view
You know what locomotive their missing? SRR 154, aka Three Rivers Rambler.
5:55 looks like they lost an engine in the tunnel.
What if 630 & 4501 can meet up with 1551 or 765 for a tripleheader?
Nice.
A video for show : even the cars are vintage ! ; lol
When I saw the classic cars at the beginning, I started looking for anachronisms that would positively identify this as a recent event. To your credit, there was nothing definite, like a satellite dish or a cell tower, or an identifiable 2018 license plate. There were some vehicles in the distance in the last scene, but too far away to be sure whether they were modern vehicles. Well done.
;)
Then again there is the 2018 copyright at the end ! … @@JohnH0130
@@vincent7520 Well obviously I meant, besides that.....
That's OK.
Actually I didn't think of it before.
Cheers ! …
:)))

And the cars
Those two engines could have pulled a full length train with heavy loads.
hey used to
I missed it!
So, 2 steamlocomotives were pulling those wagons, but they were not too many, so , I think that one steamlocomotive was enough.
it was just for the historical opportunity
Wow the best
Nice
네 ! 잘 봤습니다 !!!
Parabéns
I feel bad for 4501 she lost her crescent green
Seria legal colocar o nome do país e a cidade onde este vídeo e feito.
Афигеть!!!!!😬👍👍👍
Boa tarde
Nice shots, maybe pan more to the steamclouds. Sub.
Its nice to see Steam without an ugly diesel in tow.
Summerville Trips usually run without one, but fir this trip a diesel (TAG 80) was attached to the front, except at photo locations
Those steam engines are producing cloud's
Are they actually carrying freight or this is just to show railfans
roget
Putting the old cars in the video was STUPID!
