"She's got death vibes so she's probably a mom." I nearly did a spit take laughing at that.
when did she said that
Such OP vibes 😅😅
@@mariostarfan20 0:49
Which was that actually? Rouge?
@@IamGrimalkin I think so
There's really nothing else like One Piece. The length may seem intimidating, but starting it is the hardest part. Once you're in it, it's nice having a really great story with plenty of content to follow at your own pace. It's an incredible work of fiction and I couldn't possibly recommend it more.
Fiction? The One Piece is real!
The beginning with Romance Dawn is slow but Arlong Park is what really ramps One Piece up from good to great and it keeps going uphill from there with a few bumps in the road.
Binged that shii in like 2 weeks 😭 a bih was hookeddd
Oda is the Homer of this generation. He is writing an epic like no other.
“She’s got death vibes so she’s probably a mom”😂😂😂 Girl! You are clearly a woman of culture to have picked up on that instantly! I’ve never heard someone say that about that character. Loved your reaction.
2:58 You’re absolutely correct! They’re known as Stomach Barons. They grow actual food like meat plants, ramen waterfalls and chocolate rocks. But it’s how they lure in prey. Any living creature that comes onto them won’t be able to resist the food and gorge themselves u til they’re too fat to escape. At which point, the plant closes up and all the fattened animals and or people fall into the mouth at the centre of the plant.
The One Piece!!! The One Piece is real!!!!!!!!

Can we get much higher
@@theangryparas3167 so high
@@posool ohhhh ohhhhhhhh ohhhhhhhh-
But even if we knew what it is, we wouldn't be able to do anything about it.
Eiichiro Oda, the author of One Piece, is an unsung genius of our time. He seriously needs to be put in the history books alongside Shakespeare and Homer. The fact he has been crafting a saga filled with exciting locations, interesting characters, heart-breaking motivations, and laugh-out loud comedy for 20+ years for an international audience of all generations is awe-inspiring. He has made a fictional universe almost singlehandedly to the level of Marvel or DC, studios who had entire armies of writers.
The anime can be a hard-sell. The pacing is a bit rough as the animation studio try to pad the runtime and there are a lot of fillers, but reading the manga or finding a list online for episodes to watch to avoid the fillers is possible. Even if you're aren't going to react to it on your channel, please at least give the manga a read. It is well worth the time and you are missing out on a truly wonderful experience.
"People Dreams Never End!" What a powerful line, made more powerful by who said it and what context. (The words used can also mean "A man's dream never dies.")
One Piece is one of only a few pieces of media that affected me at a core level. The story, and world building is unparalleled and even after 1000+ chapters I was wishing for more. Oda is an amazing storyteller and righty now is the best time to be a OP fan.
Some people say that One Piece starts to get good past 200 episodes, but that's not true.
It gets good from episode 1.
It becomes one of the greatest of all times at 40.
But the big thing is that it doesn't suck after 1000 episodes, it just keeps getting better.
Wise words mate
No it gets good at the start of Arlong Park.
@@Matagu1 Romance Dawn, Buggy, Mihawk, and Baratie are all before Arlong Park and they are all really fun. Beside's Ussop's arc the rest are really good before arlong
At 200 episodes, you've already realized you're in love with One Piece and you're worried and an unexpected dread starts to set in and that dread involves the reality that even though at first it felt like 1000 episodes was impossible, you're already 1/5 of the way and you only want to see more and probably end up increasing the pace you watch it while also realizing that you really will catch up sooner or later.
You’re definitely along for the ride in the early episodes, not too sure of the wider context of the world, but the best part about one piece to me is that the more I watch the more I appreciate the earlier arcs because of how interconnected the story telling and world are. Nothing introduced into the story is wasted and can crop up again 100s of episodes later. So many jaw dropping connections between arcs and characters.
Nice tip: if you read 20 chapters of the manga per day, you will finish it in 2 months, it's really not that long and it's best just to enjoy the journey slowly than to hurry to catch up.
Watching the anime makes it last longer tho
@@ThatGuy-ju6fe you can watch one pace instead
Pretty true, I started one piece last year and I caught up in 2 months pretty quickly
@@biglui5696 TWO MONTHS?! that’s crazy
@@ameanuhh i caught up in 2 months too. i didnt read, i watched. 10 episodes a day, usually 40 on weekends lmao
I love how One Piece has gone on for so long that you can tell what is early and current by the jumps in animation quality, even though there is equal amounts of care put into them. My favorite is the contrast between the 1st episode to the current anime arc, Wano, because the Wano arc's animation is to pre-Wano movie-quality nearly every episode (to the point that people joke that Japan's board of tourism must be paying for it, due to the island being based on Japan directly).
3:00 Yes that is in fact a Island sized Venus Fly Trap and it is covered in very delicious food to attract people.
The Stomach Baron.
One Piece is one of the most amazing works of fiction i've ever seen and a great part of this is the worldbuilding. Not only the sceneries and and places, but also the cultures, societies and their issues. If you ever decide to pick up and watch, I promise it would be an amazing journey.
Listen. Everyone gets scared of One Piece because of how long it is, myself included. But once you start you cannot and do not want to stop. Then you’ll catch up with the series and think “this is not nearly enough! I want more! Nay! I need more!” Then you rewatch/reread the series and watch tons of videos on one piece. It’s honestly amazing.
0:55 "she's got death vibes so she's probably a mom" I CANT BREATH-
Oh please lord. Make my century!!!! Please if iamzamber reacts to one piece i will scream!!!! Even if it doesn't do well i would watch it religiously!!!! I'm not even caught up or even half way and can say it's one of the most incredible stories ever told!!!!!
Zamber, you have no idea how happy it makes me that you enjoyed this. One Piece is one of my favourite series and has informed parts of my personality. From the the bottom of my heart thank you so much for your positivity.
Damn, I thought she was finally reacting to the best anime ever, but no! It's just a compilation of scenery shots. This could've been an April Fools joke. 😂
😂
@@IAmZamber Oh well. I'm sure it'll happen someday.
@@DanGamingFan2846 we can only hope
@@DanGamingFan2846 Probably not, personally think it'd be way too much of a dedication to get through as a react channel. She would have to spend literally thousands of hours on this series alone to ever finish it.
@@ValidT she would have to react to at least 6 episodes at a time even then it will take a few years
If you start watching one piece it's gonna take you wayyy too long to catch up but I promise you'd be invested
Always nice to see a non op fan watch this
Thanks for this reaction :) .
One a lot of people start with is _"The appeal of One Piece",_ really puts into perspective what a cultural titan it is; with the 1st time it wasn't the most successful comic, of any kind, in the world, for over a decade, being when Netflex threw itself behind Demon Slayer.
"sir you should have a parachute!!" Trust us. He doesn't need one. And it's awesome. Also cliff jumping is the point of an adventure!
You know what is the best part of asking things like "why are there bubbles, what are they for?" in One Piece? You usually are asking something that has a real answer. Yes, the bubbles are important. Organicly introduced in the story. I love Oda's worldbuilding
the major pirate antagonist quote being "people dreams never end" gives me chills asf
If you’re hesitant about getting into the series because of the length you could try watching Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island. It’s a one piece movie that stands on its own pretty well and it would give you a chance to see if you like the characters enough to get invested.
2:25 Don't worry about him, he does it all the time!
I started watching this series back in 2007, a good chunk of the way in at that point, and i was hooked. I begin reading a few months after knowing about manga and to this day: it's my favorite anime of all time. It's story is rich, the characters are aw inspiring, the world is filled with so much unique islands, races and everything in between and the main crew you will love like your own family.
I would recommend a lot of shows but i would put my heart and soul to get people to realize how fun and wonderful One Piece is.
2:58 that is the Bowin Archipelago, and "Land Venus Flytraps" is pretty close, theyre island sized, carnivorous plants that lure creatures with the fruits they grow on the island interior, and then close up by lifting the leaves/petals/whatever theyre called into the air and eating everything that falls into their mouths
I haven’t seen a lot of people saying in the comments, so I’ll answer your question. No, the music in the video is not from the One Piece anime. However, the music from the show is very good. If you are interested, there are several videos of “One Piece OST” on UA-cam for you to enjoy.
There is no series I have ever watched/read that has as much worldbuilding as One Piece. Even the likes of the Tolkien Legendarium and Tensura, which in my opinion are the next best two worldbuilding-focused series, can compare to the amount of love and attention to detail the Eiichiro Oda has put into this franchise. Last I checked One Piece is the seventh highest grossing multimedia franchise in the world and will probably rise even higher.
One piece's world building truly is on another level.
The only series I've seen with world building even comparable to One Piece's is a series called Ascendance of a Bookworm. (if you get into the books that is). Which even then I would say One Piece has more ONLY due to the fact that it's been going on for SO MUCH longer than the other one has. Ascendance of a Bookworm is the ONLY story I've seen up to date that seems to even comes close to One Piece's attention to detail in matters of the story building. Only time will tell how much either story has in the end because both of these series are still ongoing. But Ascendance of a Bookworm definitely has a lot of promise and could end up as good as One Piece if the writer continues developing the story the way she has.
So if you enjoyed One Piece's worldbuilding you should definitely give Ascendance of a Bookworm a shot. It's world building definitely doesn't disappoint if anything else.
@@MelissaRodgers1 Thanks for the rec, with my erratic schedule and with everything else on the to read/watch/play list I'll probably get to it in 3-4 years but I'll look forward to it.
Everyone says it gets good after 100, 200, 300 episodes. No, I always tell new comers to watch up to 37. That episode has an emotional payoff that only works if your invested in the story and characters up to that point. It’s also a showcase of the writers style and talents and whether or not it’ll work for you going forward, if your still not in by that point I say you’ve given it a fair shot
Is that the………
NAMI stuff
@@ThatGuy-ju6fe yep, the “help” scene in particular. Honestly I feel like the build up to that scene is the start of Odas writing style, build up and long term reward
That the episode with the walk right?
An even better advice: read the manga
The anime is lazy in some arcs and in my opinion the manga is even faster to hook you up
@@jaopedrorelesbeles there are some arcs better in the anime
besides the beautiful story that the author created the mysteries that exist within the story is what makes me love this anime
37 is where the formation of what you can expect of this show, 60+ its where everything starts to get launched, then 100+ you'll be able to say for yourself if it is worthy to keep going or not, that's what happens to me a least, if you consider that it has 1060 episodes by now, 100 is not that much.
The woman at the beginning was Gold Roger's wife. The unofficial Pirate Queen. Portgas D. Rouge.
Always fun to see someone take a peek in to One Piece!
This video is so beautifully made, too. ✨ It's so good whether or not you know the series!
One of my favorite things in this is how the last line is spoken by the main villain of the show.
been watching on my own time for about a year 1/2 and i’m on the current arc. absolutely beautiful story.
I used to say I'll never watch one piece, then I started and it has been the greatest adventure I've had in my time watching anime.
The world of One Piece is one of if not the most creative visually create story I've ever seen.
You should react to the openings. The length of the series may seem intimidating but it’s honestly fantastic writing with minimal filler.
Imo a really underrated island is Whisky Peak, where the island looks like a cactus but is actually covered in tombs
This is the first time i have seen the edit and honestly im surprised.. although i have watched all one piece episodes but when someone's gathering all the islands, all the landscape of that world now i fully understand why most people in the anime is so eager to explore the sea i bet this is how luffy look at the world. Kinda blew my mind how beautiful it is and how many ideas has gone into creating one piece world, i only focusing on the fight and story only so these is perfect present for me thank goodness for the one making it.
I definitely think you should try it out! OP is amazing! All the details, the plot, the world building is are all breath taking! Even though it's very long, it's definitely worth watching!
This is truly awesome!!! ❤️❤️❤️
The world building and story telling in one piece is top notch🔥
For the music question, no the music in this video isn’t from OP, probably royalty free songs. But some of the music in One Piece is still beautiful and can make anyone cry
To answer your question about the bubbles, its just one place that is shown multiple times through the video.
(ONE PIECE WORLDBUILDING SPOILERS)...
while there are a couple of places that use them, specifically a sky island and the underwater kingdom, there is really only one place known for its bubbles, the Saboady Archipelago. There, the bubbles come up from the ground, made from a thicker coating because of the kind of trees that grow and make up Saboady. They're so prevelant as to be used in the making of vehicles and rides for the citizens, and quite a few businesses in this location will even use these bubbles in the making of special coatings for ships that wish to dive down under the Red Line, the singular continent that divides the world of One Piece in two.
Greetings from Spain ¡ im a big fan, keep up the good videos ❤❤
The 1st song yes. The guy riding his bike was singing that.
Lore Piece intensifies so much at the end, it gives me chills everytime!
2:19 : All the cities we saw have an Arc for them-self , so many islands visited since the beginning. We could have a Wow'style" in the world of One Piece for sur.

she : is that what one piece is
me : no its just a scene show to refer one piece as a treasure
🎶Can we get much higher? So high! Oh, oh, oh! Oh, oh, oh, oh! Oh, oh.🎶
❤ When you cought the venus flytrap islands, that was GOTed perception.
one piece the greatest story ever told AMV, is a incredible video you have to react
11:05 and thats why you'll sometimes see people refer to Eiichiro Oda as "God-a", theres no Team, its just him, its been his life long passion project since he was a kid, and its even bigger, more expansive, and detailed than you imagine
The bubbles are the residue of a resin that naturally forms in the roots of a particular species of giant tree. The trees aren't very widespread - I think they only exist on two known islands - and the roots from the trees of one of those islands (an archipelago made from the trees themselves, rather than any actual land) reach down to the depths of the sea, and formed the foundation that a country of mermaids was built around. Wherever the trees exist, the resin soaks into the ground and rises into the air as bubbles, before eventually popping when they get too high for the atmospheric pressure to sustain them.
The resin bubbles are strong enough to support some weight, are semi-permeable, and are hydrophobic, although they can still pop if they're damaged enough. The people who live around the trees were able to create means of adapting the bubbles into utilities such as low speed vehicles and other means of transport, while the resin itself can be used to coat ships and trap air to allow said ships to submerge themselves in the ocean. This is the primary means for most humans to reach the mermaid country.
Of course, most of this is very minor in importance and is largely a background detail. But, that goes into the amount of detail that Eichiro Oda has put into designing this world. He really has turned the concept of world building into an art form. Not only that, but I'm not sure which is greater, his world building skills, or his ability to foreshadow and lead events - sometimes years (or even just recently, _decades_) - in advance.
One Piece is the greatest story ever written, you can start your journer any time and follow it at any pace, you'll be in awe by the time you catch up!
Agree & that there is very little filler in this too
@@littlesparrow303 compared to other big anime, yes
Fair warning… there are over 1000 episodes. So, if you decide to watch, you’ll be here for a while.
I was hooked onto this show around 115 but I was getting into it from episode 60 with Chopper. At first I didn’t want to watch because it was long but once I gave it a chance. I regret nothing & am a really huge fan of it now. I think it took me 5-6 months to catch up because of work so I watched like 5-10 daily when I could
Zamber, this is a journey alot of people hav gone through but only a few handfuls hav actually r still watching lol.
question: "why so many places with bubbles?"
answer: there's actually only one place in the entire world that has those bubbles. they spawn from the yarukiman mangroves and the sunlight tree eve, and they pop if they get too far away from those trees. this means that every shot filled with bubbles is happening on or near the sabaody archipelago. the only exception is the first shot of the cloud island with bubbles on it, that is a location that specially makes those bubbles to control the island's floating.
For context:
1) The public (and readers & watchers) don't even know what the 'One Piece' is.
2) One Piece world is very very very big. And with big world, there are also creatures in this series that are also very very very big.
Its sad that they didnt include whiskey peak in the video. It also was one of my favorite locations with all the gravestones that looked like spikes on a cactus from the distance.
This video makes me feel amazing
As others said, OP is something you can start but that is hard to stop (the manga at least, the anime can get slow at times from the little I know of it). The worldbuilding is one of it's strong points, but the characters are where it shines most imo
The song in the vid isn't from one piece but the ost of the show has multiple composers under its belt like shiro hamaguchi who is known for writing music for Final Fantasy.
The Appeal of One Piece: Where to Start by Super Eyepatch Wolf.
I literally gasped when I saw the notification for this lmao

Yes these are island Venus fly traps, but you want to go there. On one of this is heraclesn an absolute legend.
One of my favorite people watching my favorite AMV of my favorite story? Best surprise ever! ❤
I recently re read the manga and it took me about 2 months, some days reading a lot of chapters an others not reading at all. The anime would take a lot more time to get through.
2:25 - No one needs a parachute in the world of One Piece!hehe

one piece is the best story/show/series/thing i've seen in my life, im almost 29 years old and it doesn t change.
Ice + bicycle = icicle
One Piece is an adventure like none other. I was a hater, I mean a hardcore HATER, for years. I hated the art style, wasn't interested in pirates, thought 1,000+ episodes was insane....now I'm in the mid 800s and feel like it's gone in the blink of an eye. It's a beautiful, emotional, incredible journey full of characters you will love and a vibrant world full of wonder and emotional weight like that will leave you thinking about this story all the time.
Cannot suggest watching it enough. Trust me, an ex-hater.
One Piece is becoming a siren call that is calling you, so many people have been consumed by one piece. How long can you ignore its call? yes those flower islands are giant carnivorous plants
Op is honestly one of the pieces of media I’ve ever consumed
8:36 is all the mysteries in one piece
The best part of this is that next to none of those shots were meaningless establishing shots. If they showed something, you can almost be guaranteed that we shall visit it in borderline excessive detail at some point during the series. There really is no other series like one piece when it comes to crafting such a vibrant, living world~
"IS THAT LUFFY'S MOM?"
nope
"IS SHE A MOM?"
yes
"SHE'S GOT DEATH VIBES"

Literally "Wtf"moment
Holy shit, that's such a beautiful video, i've never apreciated that much the wonderful world Oda created, simply wonderful
"Is he the pirate king" not yet he isn't but he will be
The soundtrack in one piece mostly remains the same throughout the entire thing. It is not this specific music but it is still good music.
Zamber: Is that a sky squid?
No, that's a sky octopus. It's actually a good thing it grabbed onto the ship, as it acts like a parachute on their way down off the clouds. Unfortunately it shrank down to the size of a normal octopus when they got to low, but still hadn't splashed down yet.
Glad you're seeing One Piece love
To answer your question about the bubbles, as you’ve seen in this video there are so many islands with different environments, ecosystems and even topography that defies common logic. One such place is called the Sabaody Archipelago, a group of massive sea trees (or groves as they’re called) that can produce soap bubbles that can actually maintain its form within the area (as soon as it floats away from the area, it can easily pop like a regular bubble)
And yea the world is so crazy where the adventures are numerous where on one tale, you can explore a vast desert wasteland; traverse snowy landscapes; soar into islands high in the clouds, and the kinds of people you’ll meet are just as numerous as the colors in the LGBTQ+ rainbow. It’s a big story and it’s in the final saga currently going through the first arc of it. No better time to peruse it at your leisure. I mean you were able to catch up with Ladybug
GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD 😍
