Remember that One Piece is an adventure. Getting caught up isnt really important. It's all about enjoying the journey.
You don't know how true this hits with me right now. I've been trying to get into Marvel and DC Comics for weeks now and even though there were some great storys, they just don't compare to One Piece, or Mangas in general. This made me appreciate One Piece all over again, especially the small details Oda puts in it, like changing their costumes every new arc or the individual laughs of each character. But especially that the side characters are actually involved in the story and have unique personalities that make them likeable. In Comics everyone feels generic as hell. I don't care about power scaling and silly talk about Sanji vs Zoro etc. anymore. The Characters, the Islands, the Journey, the myth, the epicness, I just want to enjoy this fantastic story to it's fullest now.

@@pandaman1331 A lot of Marvel & DC aren't written with the same passion as One Piece. Certainly not these days. Though the old stuff is great. With Comics it's probably best to just pick your favorite Hero then go through Trade Paperbacks of that character. Like for me when I used to read comics I only concerned myself with Hulk and Spider-Man. And with DC it was Superman & various Justice League members. Didn't care about much else. You can still get the broader scope of the universe just by focusing on who you're interested in.
There is something majestic about exploring these places, every place has its own culture, history, and people, and this never gets old.
That's why it's absolutely worth it to experience One piece even though it's long. When you start you barely know the world and what could happen, so it's like you are part of the crew as you learn things with the characters

Yes, the world of One Piece is a vast, highly diverse one. The fact that there's over 1000 episodes (or chapters, if you follow the manga) may sound intimidating for a newcomer, but I assure you that you'll blast through them in no time flat as long as you find the story fun and engaging. 😉

It's a wile ride. It's a lot for sure but it's wort hit because it doesn't get boring for even a single second.
@@celinho68 Bruh. Have you even done the math? It's not much. 1.000 episodes, if you watch just a single episode per day then you will catch up in not even 3 years. Watch two episodes per day and you will catch up in 1,5 year. Exclude the fillers and in one year you're up to date. How is this too much? You guys can watch literal shite of Tik Tok videos for hours every single day but can't watch one 20 minute episode per day?

There are people who says that one piece it's good after 200 episodes or more, but one piece is good from the beginning, later on it become epic and fantastic. (For the majority of people episode 37 is the episode were people change from liking one piece, to loving it, and i can see exactly why)

It's true in our world too.
One thing I love about One Piece is that, everything is sooo connected to each other. Even character's background from the beginning of the show, could literally be connected to the story 500+ ep later, and it feels like One Piece is a whole, finished story that now is just being told to us. 1000+ ep might sound a lot, but its actually not enough, once you start to get the story of it.
Only time can put into perspective the IMMENSE world that Eiichiro Oda has created in these years of publishing One Piece... As we watch/read the series, we don't realize it too much, but when we look back, we can contemplate the immensity of the Masterpiece that is One Piece.
Thank you for that, Oda-sama.
You will not regret seeing one of the best stories that exist, you will fall completely in love with this work and we will accompany you on this journey called One Piece.
One piece is a great anime and Luffy is a great main character yeah he's an idiot from time to time but it never really gets annoying so you don't have to worry about it getting annoying as he grows as a character his personality actually gets interesting
Rather than an idito he is just very childish and naive. But that's supposed to be his charming point. He is a child who seeks adventure and never wants to grow up. Kind of like Peter Pan. Keep in mind *spoilers* that he is the person who is supposed to bring laughter and joy to all people. I never found his antics annoying, I found them very funny, it's what he is and huge part of what makes the story so enjoyable.
Keep in mind, Oda has been writing this story, since the 90's! For literal DECADES, this man has been putting out a consistantly great story, about a rubber man who wants to be the Pirate King. And through all the worldbuilding, characters, events he has written into the story, some even on a spur-of-the-moment deal, he has always known how it will all end, since the beginning. He's just taking his time to get there, and we're all in for the ride!
If there's one thing that both One Piece fans and even haters agree then it's that the WORLDBUILDING in One Piece is easily one of the best not just in anime but in FICTION. This is one of the story where the world doesn't feel stuck waiting for the main character to explore, it's a moving world with different people having different agendas moving together and the actions of those characters affects how the world moves forward. On top of that, almost every island has their own culture, history, type of people, type of animals, etc. Having all those different types of people and animals, you'll probably guess by now that ISSUES are a major thing in One Piece such as RACISM, LAND TAKEOVER etc. Lastly, the One Piece is real. The author already revealed that it's an actual physical thing. It is still not revealed in the story but were pretty sure by now that whatever One Piece is, once it is found, it will bring major changes to the world of One Piece. This is a good anime and manga to read, I suggest you read the manga if you don't have that much time or you can watch the anime, skip the fillers (there's only few of it) and after a certain part you can switch to the manga.
The world building in One Piece is unmatched and this tribute really captures the magic and life Oda breathes into his world
There's a reason why One Piece is called the Wheel of Time of manga/anime. It's world building is insane and so immersive!

Sheeeeeeeesh! TIPS: Don't miss any dialogues in one piece, that story is a masterpiece. It's okay to pause the show if you want to comment or explain something. Also, there is an easter eggs to one piece which is called PROJECT PANDA.. you will see random PANDA MAN in the show. I hope you just appreciate the show and know that everything will be talked about and has a reason in One Piece. The best youtube uploads when it comes to one piece reaction content is 6 episodes a week but you can add more if you want. My favorite one piece reactor is iShinobi and maybe you can check his 1st episode of one piece for edit tips.

One Piece has by far the greatest world building and character development in any manga or anime. PERIOD.
One Piece, to me, is like a Thousand Piece puzzle that only Oda (the author) knows what the final picture looks like and it's out choice to either figure it out before the end or just go along for the ride.

i remember a vid where they explained that the planet one piece plays on is 10x bigger than earth and is mostly covered in water like earth... so some island can be a big as continents ^^
One Piece gets as DARK as almost ANY anime will get... It just wraps its darkness in a fun art style.

You should DEFINITELY put the full episode reactions on Patreon! You can do a video time sync if you're worried about copyright.(have is sync our video with your reaction). Having it not synced, but have the full video unedited is okay for the most part. I've seen very few have issues.

One Piece story is just being told like it actually happened before.. there are ups and downs but the faithfulness on the events that happened and will happen never gets old. Each part is just totally interconnected.

Dammm !! This tribute to the work of Oda is amazing !!! I remember all this locations and all. Oda could make a MMORPG like Wow with so many islands in this Manga. And we have not finish to see new island. A game named "WOOP" World Of One Piece as a MMORPG.

Its an adventure anime, you have to like exploring new worlds, being into fantastic genre with magic and powers, you have to like those kinda of stuff. TBH its is not for everyone, people often get into one piece and dont like the passsing because it is very slow ngl but i mean Take as it just one episode or two episode at the begging, dont rush yourself to watch all the episodes.
The whole point of the show is to make everybody friends. To get to know each other. To join. To be The One piece.
I'd definitely recommend reading it over watching it. It's still a huge investment of time, but not nearly as much as watching all the anime with its filler.

The author of One Piece, Oda. He is too good at creating world and every island is a different vibe. Of course, the mystery in the island is interesting
This is one of the few videos that I don't really think has spoilers. It showcases the world but you're not given any information about the plot.
I should mention that a lot of the footage is from the movies that have a higher production value or remastered scenes. It's like 23ish years old now so expect the animation to change over time. That being said the older animation is kinda charming but the story will carry it.

React the anime already Bunny. Trust me someone who's seen the entire anime and manga so far, judging by your reaction to the artwork. You will absolutely love it! As you saw, the islands are based of real places out of real countries, history, myths, and fictional stories. For example:
* Water 7 - Based on the city of Venice.
* Wano - 15th century Japan?
* Wholecake Island - the 'Alice in Wonderland' story.
* Alabasta - Ancient Egypt
* Thriller Bark/Florian Triangle - Dermuted Triangle

So, ftr, on the topic of "giving this anime a chance", I know some people say to watch several 100s of episodes before deciding, but honestly, if you make it through episode... I think it's 37. Maybe it's 39? If you're not hooked by then, I don't think you would enjoy the rest either way.
it was intresting from the start for me (well episode 1-2 are a little slow) and then it became even more interesting to me in alabasta because of the world building starting and the mysteries
I keep randomly stumbling into these One Piece videos from Bunny, and it makes me slightly upset, cuz I still havent seen reactions to One Piece itself. It's definitely an adventure worth taking, even with all that you know. The show itself is unparalleled. One piece is more than an anime, it's a world. One that many of us would surely love to re-explore with you.
