I think Oda made sure that it would get completed even if something was to happen to him, God forbid. I bet he wrote down a lot of stuff and discussed it with his team.
The best part is that it’s Blackbeard saying it. The main villain of the show saying such an uplifting thing.
The reason why one piece’s world is so detailed and vast is because this isnt just a 20 year project for oda, this is literally his baby. He said he has been thinking of characters and islands since he was a kid for an anime that would eventually be one piece you can tell he cares so much about each character he brings in & thats why i feel like people can appreciate everything so deeply.. kinda rambled but long story short oda is the goat & youll soon understand why ❤️ enjoy your one piece journey, goes by too quick 😂 even with 1000 + episodes

I cannot wait for you to get caught up in the story and talk about the different theories, mysteries and the priceless character moments people indulge. The narrator in One Piece is like a special character as well because he's in the Manga as in the form of a special text box that makes the reading and watching experience like you're inside an epic fantasy story book.
So, just out of context... The entire Naruto world is about the size of a single large island that the Straw Hat Pirates have visited before.

The dude riding his bike on the Ocean is actually a Devil fruit user (some of them are shown 14:35) and his fruit makes him an Ice-Man he literally can make the water to ice and that way he rides his bike instead of taking a ship

the voices that said something besides the Narrator are actually Characters in the Anime so you will hear their Voices again when you watch it
Bro, if you feel intimidated to start watching because of the number of episodes, you can start by watching the movies. The first few were simple story' wise but still good,, and you'll know the characters personality and power wise
It is a fan edit by Strawhat V, all the clips and audio (barring a few songs used) are from the show as well as the specials and movies, but Strawhat V is the one who edited them together in this way, id say hes genuinely made the best possible trailer for One Piece as a series that exists
Dont be intimidated by the visual of amount of ep cause some people take it the wrong way. Its like looking at an anime with lots of season mashed into one thats all

The beauty of one piece is not even the whole thing. The story and the world building is really really amazing. They made so many unique people and go to so many unique places. It’s incredible. It’s like a dreamworld or anything could happen just imagine, living in a place like that, exploring so many different places, and having friends like that, having a friend like Luffy who would do anything for you even if you’re not even his friend it’s just incredible all of the stuff, adding to that just makes it such an incredible and me and it never gets boring throughout all of the episodes and arcs
You will love every single fiber of One Piece! Oda could have been on something I highly doubt it but I'm certain for a fact that he has the most creative storytelling and ideas I have ever seen ❤

@@Marpsz Hey, your video just came across my feed and I wanted to give you a bit of a heads up about starting One Piece. In the beginning the show and the animation may seem a little more comical, cartoony, and villain of the week, but as it progresses it evolves into one massive story. Many people seem to get more interested around episode 37, I know that's where I got hooked. Right now, if you were to watch 4 hours a day it would take you about 80 days to get caught up on it.

Oda world building is amazing. He takes inspiration from our own world like Roman Colosseum, Turkish Pamukkale, Venice and many other places. Each island had it's own culture and traditions which is really shown in places when crew stay longest. It's like getting unexpected easter egg when you watch One Piece and suddenly see place you recognize or story that inspired the place. Like the Jack and the Beanstalk you saw.

Fun fact; the world of One Piece is larger than our planet. It is NOT our Earth, it has it's own geography, animals, races, weather, history, etc.
It has some very dark topics. It straddles the line between being for teens and adults. Slavery, death(lots, mostly backstory, history, and whatnot), corruption, child experiments, starvation, and so much more.
It has the best forshadowing in any anime. Something in the first dozen episodes could/do appear hundreds of episodes later and turns out to be huge! Little hints from what people say, what they did, what they wear, and so forth can give hints to something bigger later. EVERYTHING is connected and has some importance.

one piece is a big commitment, so i think u sould watch other animes like aot, jujutsu kaisen, demon slayer..., those all are good animes for beginers... once you get the hang of anime, then jump in to one piece.... the greatest anime/manga of all time...

A lot of arcs in One Piece have a lot of bizarre stuff in them that gets explained as time passes. But when you first see it, you're like: "What is happening?!"

As I type this I am sitting in a bed in a hostel in Peru sipping on a mescaline smoothie and I couldn't come up with half this shit. Some of the trippiest people are the ones who don't do drugs. Oda, Frank Zappa and many others were stone cold sober and out of their minds. I'm a writer and I hardly ever write when I'm high on anything because it's not half as good as what I come up with sober. I don't even drink when I write. Good art is good because the artists are meticulous about their craft. I mean there are exceptions like maybe Kerouac or something, but those people are monsters who started out as good as most of us are after years of practice, and I still suspect their work would be better if they weren't hammering it out on a diet of speedballs, acid and bourbon.
The funny part is I got into Onepiece from clips on UA-cam, Anime on Crack bits,and the parody series on UA-cam
I heard Oda is a Toilkein fan and into Dungeons & Dragons (you know,one of those DMs you want for their storytelling ability)
The Editors have to throw out at least half the panels a week to fit in Shonen Jump and Oda can be up to 3 months ahead in Chapters submitted to Shonen Jump Editors (Any cut panels can still end up in Anime Storyboard as Oda is head screenplay writer,series director,and executive producer for Anime)
I recommend you to watch the One Pace version of the anime. Free of charge, you skip filler arcs and it is closer to the manga.
Btw with this version you nearly half the watch time.

Eiichiro Oda has sold more copies of One Piece than J.K Rowling has sold books. He's literally closer to Shakespeare than any living writer you can name, within the next decade to become to the most sold living author (the current one is an old lady)
