just finished the game yesterday and you're right, that moment was pure bliss and kindness. The end while interesting is to rushed to my taste. this was by fare the best moment of my game.
I just beat the game and I'd say the ending was great but Lohse singing was the happiest moment. Love the ending, but Lohse's arc was when I felt 'the journey was worth it', if ya know what I mean.
For me as mage, I can only imagine that feeling as the loss of silence. I found it was seeing her change as the story went forward that really caught me in the feels. Yeah , she doesn't have the "most" story interactions, especially early on, but they kept it compelling. If you asked her to sing before freeing her, and hearing her choke up and cough, unable to sing as she had before, seeing her black out occasionally, having her demon take over and try to kill perfectly fine people like Saheila was downright concerning. By the second Island, meeting Jahan and seeing just exactly WHAT Adrahmalik was, and her joking attitude about the matter the whole time suddenly being flattened as the reality of what shes facing steamrolls her, as it all clicks just what exactly she's up against as she returns from the void she was left in after the exorcism. That, and the lore behind it is so well crafted. You see what the demon did when it wreaked terror on the world after it was called, just how much it ruined Bloodmoon Isle. You see the depths of its trickery as a master demon-hunter was so completely fooled by the creature's masquerade that he shared his most intimate time with this Doctor. Stories of his life, of the memories they'd had together as friends. The gravity of the situation never abating- Lohse must NOT ascend under any circumstances with that demon still walking Rivellon. If she tries, you MUST stop her. And then throughout the Nameless Isle, worried when she finally decides she wants to ascend that I won't be able to make her see the danger she'd be putting everyone....everything into...and that I wouldn't be able to justify trying to stop her if I couldn't persuade her. The time spent with her on the lady vengeance, everything, and you always know its just a constant threat, that she might be suddenly taken from you, maybe even forced by your hand. You get to Arx these feelings still un-abated, and suddenly Mals comes in, shows you a way, a chance, a hope to best this creature- the cost of all of those souls he has taken. An entire corner of Oblivion, a realm of waxen horror, populated by thousands of the damned, and that choice- To try and best the great arch-demon from the moral "High-Ground", or free those he's damned and weaken him significantly, only (justifiably at that) costing you your morality. And then you meet him. This....demon. the monster thats been holding her back this whole time (I chose the path that would most ensure this creatures demise, and Lohse's reaction to his weakened state was indescribably satisfying). That fight had the most meaning in the entire game to me. Stopping Mord Akaim from his deathfog, voidwoken plot? Childs play. Killing Alexander 2, 3, 4 times even, to prevent another Lucian? Striking down the few Eternals who survived in a desperate ploy to retain our world? The fight for who would ascend to divinity- how the world might end- or endure? Moving, mayahps. But they could not hold a proverbial candle to the death of Adrahmalik. Killing the demon that had enslaved so many, threatened the world in its own right, and seeing a free Lohse- And then it all just comes flooding out- She's free. Every pang of terror, every held breathe during one of her interactions, all of it, in this song.
@@contown731 You're not entirely wrong, but up until the last isle I thought her to be one of the most lacking companions, quite literally just a pretty face- The story choices it presented, and her free spirit afterwards made it interesting, and the song absolutely nailed it.

I have bpd, I didn't like Lohse at the beggining, don't know why, yet my then boyfriend insisted to play as her, I did and holy fuck, Lohse became my favorite and inspired me to get help, I felt identified with her, like having something inside of you that's consuming you, not wanting to see you happy, not knowing what it was (I didn't had a diagnosis back then), just wanting to he normal again and stop hurting people, and *spoiler* seeing Adramahlik's realm with all those candles and tortured souls made me cry thinking of all the people struggling with mental problems, feeling like slaves of their own conditions, the fight with Adramahlik was pure joy, and when Lohse screamed with relief: I'm free!! I went HOLY SHIT is it possible? Can it be like this? Can I get help? And sure I did, thanks to Divinity I finally understood I could have a choice on getting better and fight whatever shit is making me feel miserable
Glad to hear that you are feeling well. Historically speaking, possessed were people with severe mental illnesses who were misunderstood due to lack of scientific knowledge. DOS 2 takes it literally and looks at it through a high fantasy lens. Obviously, this was probably not the intention of the writers, but the parallels are interesting. To me, visiting the demon’s realm and seeing millions of candles is Lohse realizing that she is not the only one. This severely weakens the demon inside her. When Malady reassures her that with her friends by her side, she can undoubtedly defeat it, it felt almost fourth-wall-breaking. My favorite observation is that in the epilogue, it is revealed that she is still a host, in other words, she still has issues. But the difference is that she is well equipped to battle them now.
This was the most relieving part of the story. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is one of my most favorite games. I played as Lohse for my run through. The Red Prince was my right hand man- Lizard? The story was incredible, especially because Fane and Lohse's contribution were amazing.
This was the most hollywood moment in the game. The developers surely put a lot of heart and effort at every nook and corner which is what makes this game an epic.

I still remember when I saw all the candles in adrahmalik’s realm for the first time. It was one of the most chilling things I’ve seen in a video game after having Lohse in my party the entire game. I got so hyped to take down adrahmalik after that, the thought of not only freeing Lohse but freeing everyone felt heroic as fuck
I love how the game goes "yeah, decide if you want to kill this woman, now decide whether it's worth to kill a father together with a criminal. Tough moral choice, amirite-hahaha... Now, fuck you. Kill everyone, take it or leave it." And you thought the first two choices were hard.
I can't re-play the game without choosing her. She has the best personality ("right, chief!"), and she has the best story arc and of course, she's the only character who doesn't have a God in her head, making the lore correct. Because in the story all the Gods died, yet they were still in other characters heads!
It's really tough between her, Beast, and Fane for me. Fane's also clearly the developers' favorite because he got the figurine and his story is the most tied to the main plot. Red Prince is pretty great also. The only character who I really didn't care about was Ifan.
My first run was with a custom MC and Sebille, Lohse, and Red Prince as companions. To gradually earn the respect of Red, and the trust of Sebille was great. But Lohse was down with whatever right from the get-go. Unlike other companions, she isn’t a part of some great prophecy. She doesn’t carry the future of an entire race on her. She’s a traveling performer. The twist is that she’s not just a performer. Such a breath of fresh air. Hope to see her romance as Fane on my second playthrough.
@@chaosrex1487 Really? Beast is annoying, and Sebille is just...no, please no. I kind like Ifan, but my favorites are Red Prince (I find him comic at times), Lohse (for obvious reasons) and Fane (it's hard at times to agree with him and his personality, but I like him overall).
@@chaosrex1487 I kind like Ifan. The one I rally don't like is Sibelle (I don't remember how to spell). Beast is kind annoying... But what do I do to avoid choosing? I downloaded a mod where I can put up to 6 characters (more, actually.. don't remember now) on your party.
@@chaosrex1487 Ifan and Lohse are must-haves for me. I always play with a custom character, so my third slot typically goes to Red Prince, or possibly Sebille. Beast is kind of boring to me, and Fane is honestly too whiny and rude for me to tolerate having around.
I feel the same, whenever I feel the need, I stop somewhere (Arx square is a good place, although crowded and sometimes loud), I use her lute and just "... LISTEN, do you feel it?".
I cannot begin to describe the wamr and fuzzies I got when I heard this the first time after the thing. My buddy and I were doing a co-op and we both immediately muted ourselves and just... had our minds blown.

Ever since I met her on the ship to fort joy and she called me “wife” to get out of talking to a bunch of kids, I knew I was pickin her up for my party. Best decision ever and this song is proof (i intended to romance her too but along the way ended up falling for sebille; I’m already planning a second playthrough so I can get with lohse lmao)
I'm glad I played with Fane the 1st time, and boy what the hell of a twist at the FINAL BOSS fight.. the main villain Dallis is.. is.. nevermind.. Fane, you're cool man.. Respect...
she is the official bard of the new divine, she is the herault of a new age where rivellon is united again for a common cause. her songs are like prayer to the new god and she inspire bravery to everyone. May the divine be victorious against the God king and his horrifiying army.

It's a shame you heard it here first, without given too much away she sings it to the group and it's one of those moments like in Sacred 2 where you just want to play it again, I think I've asked her to play it for the group about 8 times now.
Yeah, I didn't know what to think when I asked her to play something and this unfolded. I was in awe. :D It may not be the most complex song but for all I experienced with Lohse during our journey to come to this point it hit me really hard. :3

Heard a portion of this song in game (she sings the first verse) in the definitive edition in fort joy. Was excited :P
Yes i was so happy when i found that on my 3rd run doing Fort Joy
she sings the entire song at the end of the campaign with the credits and stuff reacting to it and it's beautiful.
@@CritLoren If you play as her, after beating Adrahmahlik she can sing whenever you want, using her lute looted from the demon's body, but I guess as a companion, you can also ask her to sing for you (through the "sing for me" option in her conversation, I guess), though I can't say, I still have to get her as a companion yet in my next playthrough.
This made me laugh and cry at the same time, probably the most moving and wonderful moment I've had in 30 years of gaming.
Kill everyone, take it or leave it."
And you thought the first two choices were hard.
I haven't played with her in my crew and regret it now. This song gives me shivers and joyful tears.
I love you get a teaser for this song in act 1 before the demon takes control and smashes your lute.
Второе прохождение.В первом Луосе не взял с собой Во втором за романсил с ней.Не ожидал ,что она такое выдаст.До слез.Разработчикам аплодирую стоя.
Playing my way through Act 2 of this game and loving both the game and the gorgeous music.
Top 37 cutscenes all time. What a treat to have happen. So surprised and hapy when this occurred.
This is one of the 2 reasons why i cant do a single run without Sebille and Lohse
one of the best games i ever played
Im addicted to this as hell since i ended lohse story godamit this is good
I feel the same, whenever I feel the need, I stop somewhere (Arx square is a good place, although crowded and sometimes loud), I use her lute and just "... LISTEN, do you feel it?".
Finished the game at long last. Teared up a little when this played in the credits.
i can listen to that song the whole day :P don't know how i reached it ingame but it was awesome to listen too it the first time
You killed Lohse's demon
I cannot begin to describe the wamr and fuzzies I got when I heard this the first time after the thing. My buddy and I were doing a co-op and we both immediately muted ourselves and just... had our minds blown.
This song is what me made to get Original sin 1 and 2, cant wait to do this amazing adventure:D
I always forget Mizora and Lohse both share the same actor
"Let's make them scream..."
Wow! I actually never played with Lohse in my party but this really makes me want to go back.
Just completed her quest line the other day with a friend and holy shit..I enjoyed this reward way more than the loot I got..and I got some damn good loot!
Many people do consider finishing losh quest to be more emotionnaly rewarding than finishing the game^^
On my first playthrough I thought "human bard, how boring".
Then I played the game.
I'll always remember this moment when in game the music starts when you....*spoil*, what a great feeling and emotional moment :)
Jb Pennes *realizing a magister was murdered*
Just happened to me and had to hear it again
Without fail, this song *always* brings a tear to my eyes.
Holy shit so many wonderful versions not included in the OST, you are doing a wonderful job.
can i ask you to upload the more tragic version of "A Tear in the Veil" that plays on the Blackpits if you have the time? :)
I believe you mean this one? :)
ua-cam.com/video/ezoP4q0g8Ro/v-deo.html
Yes, thank you :D
This is in the ost. I have it downloaded from steam on my computer
I dont know, I love when se sings but... during the game Adramahlikh has his lovely moments. I like him in some way.
Finished the game today! Its one of the most beautiful games out there ... Absolute love for Lohse since she was my main character and Larian for such an amazing experience
I'm playing through it first time right now with my brother, I'm trying to make sure to get Lohse & Sebille stories taken care of before my brother kills the important NPC's.
God it’s so cool they put all the DOS2 themes and songs in BG3 performance skill for Bards
i mained as lohse and was robbed of this experience I didn't realize I could play the loot until much later.
I just LOVE when people say the soundtrack version is sing by some guy. THAT "Some guy" is actually the writer himself, it's funny because people is like no respect for him whatsoever.
Wait BOBBY is the writer!?!?!?
Yeah... they say ignorance is a bliss...
Lohse's VA sings it better imo, but he's still an incredible composer. :p
This has been added to the official OST 🎉
the song feels very enchanted like you are there in game
zippy links are gone, the site is dead. the page saying it's dead likely won't be up much longer.
^,^ ty for making these available.
This song is soothing my soul
I wish all of the main characters had a moment like this.
This game.. this song ♥️🇨🇦
Влюбился в эту песню за пару секунд в форте Радость. Как же приятно было её потом сыграть в центре Аркса.
спасибо за трек!
This is somewhat similar to into the night by Santana. And I love em both.
How does it feel Adramahlihk?
So am i the only one here that went two playthroughs of this game and never heard this? :D damn its sooo goood.
Lol tf man there's no way u beat the game 2 times and not hear this song
Very good song!
Ever since I met her on the ship to fort joy and she called me “wife” to get out of talking to a bunch of kids, I knew I was pickin her up for my party. Best decision ever and this song is proof
(i intended to romance her too but along the way ended up falling for sebille; I’m already planning a second playthrough so I can get with lohse lmao)
I'm still playing my first run of the game and don't have either in my party so I'm guessing I'll miss this? This game is really complex yet good.
Adramalik the hero for pushing lose to this song❤❤
Anyone up for an adventure?
Death by fire, dragon, stabbing, crushing and other dangers may be involved
Me gusta! Where do we start?
Yes this was in Ser Winter's most recent video
Best Gaming Moment Ever!
I'm going insane trying to figure out who wrote the original instrumental of this. A 90's or 00's rock band wrote this exact thing and I can't remember for the life of me
Magnum Bullets song also had this cord progression. It's beautiful.
My favorite song to play in Baldur's Gate 3
Once my buddy could use his lute and on so many bosses he'd just play the damn thing leaving me to battle alone. Lol.
I'm buying the game because of this song.
This song is great, but too short :(
why the fuck this one is not in the dlc !!! i could understand for some ambiant songs BUT THIS ONE !! it should have been in the dlc alongside the male version !! ( btw where did you find it in game ? i intend to play as lohse for my second playtrough i dont want to miss it to show it to my friends)
I think if you follow Lohse's questline you will encounter it sooner or later. I doubt you'll miss it. So don't worry. :D
yeah, there are a lot missing songs in the sound track DLC's and the quality of the design are really low, ugh.
It may not be the most complex song but for all I experienced with Lohse during our journey to come to this point it hit me really hard. :3
I completed the game as Lohse and didn't hear this :(
"Some guy"... yeah... that Some guy is the writer by the way.
Loshe's questline is incredibly disturbing, I actually had to turn off the game and take a break when I realized I *SPOILERS* just JUSTIFIED MASS GENOCIDE for one person and 'potentially' the 'greater good'. *END SPOILERS* But when I turned on the game and finished her quest, getting this song was an amazing reward, because Loshe is incredible.
They were already damned unfortunately. You freed them.
You don't actually have to kil them you know
@@Fox_Onii-san only if you're prepared for an actual fight, with them all dead he's a pushover
To be fair, they were suffering, and if you free them, they do thank you.
He was feeding on them, as cattle. Not killing them was not benevolence. Killing them is not genocide.
I have feeling that I know the song from somewhere, especially the beginning is familiar to me. It reminds me of another song. And I have never played Divinity.
SO much better than the "teenage dirtbag" style singing on the other version. Even the instrumental is better than the other version.
Back again after starting BG3.
My first run was as a lone wolf villian summoner Lohse, and this song was the perfect punctuation to the run. As she sung with only the dead to hear her in Arx.
Hey, listen!
Знал бы, что она скажет в концовке - отдал бы на растерзание демону
ow yeah
I want that Undeads armor
I want Bard themed spells in Divinity: Original Sin 3.
There's a modded bard class out for DOS2 if you haven't checked it out yet
tnx 4 the link
Who is the singer?
Lohse 😊
0:30 there is a beep sound and now i cant unhear it. Song is now ruined.
what do you mean i dont hear it
@@TheInterNep listen closely, I texted this on various headphones, or maybe I'm just crazy
為了這首歌,我買了音樂DLC
