I think the mph sign in the gauge cluster is like if you driving and vibing and didn't realize what the speed limit was you can look at your gauge cluster.
It’s just like auto pilot on airplane. You have to be there. You are still in control of the vehicle and you do have to watch for things that may happen. This is just a luxury not a necessity.
An issue that I have with the adaptive cruise control (I have the last version) is if you're on open highway going 70, and you come up behind a truck going 52, it will JAM on the brakes at about 10 car lengths, when you move over, it will STOMP on the accelerator again. Did they fix that in 3.0?
So there is a way to adjust your following distance so it won't slow down until you're 2 or 3 car lengths away. For the most part on the interstate it wouldn't jam on the brakes unless someone switched over in front of you at the last minute, but I do think once the car moves over it does accelerate back up to speed faster than I would like.
@@TheTacomaEnthusiast No, I have it set to max following distance, if I'm on the interstate and come up on a vehicle going significantly slower than me, it definitely jams on the brakes at 10 car lengths.
@@TheTacomaEnthusiast Something you didn't mention is that you can bypass the adaptive cruise control if you just hold the button for 1.5 seconds when you turn it on.
Can you do a video on Trd off road vs trd off road premium? I’m looking at a 2024 or 2025 trd off road premium the sport I don’t want it’s nice but I need the other stuff I want to go off road the sport is road princess vs off road is the king
@@HotSizzleTV_ I'll see if I can find a bare bones off road and then a premium one, from what I have been seeing they are always loaded with a ton of other stuff. If money is no issue I'd definitely go with an off road premium.
Have you noticed any problems with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 or has it been working perfectly? Let me know in the comments!
