I was lucky enough to see him in concert many times, and even went to visit his Rockville home here in Connecticut in 1965. My mother & I were due to see Gene on his UK tour at the Colston Hall in Bristol but sadly he died the day before after his performance at St Davids Hall in Cardiff. We were devastated at his passing. He was a true gentleman. His voice was unrivalled & singers of his ability only come around once in a lifetime!!!! Thank you for all your work in putting this tribute together you can tell a lot of thought has gone into it. I found it very moving. God Bless you.
