Love the styling, my favourite looks are the cotton white shirt and half zip jumper + blazer. Love half zip jumpers, they're so easy to put on (with a face full of makeup) and practical. Thanks for all the ideas Jess.

I have some lovely leather trousers but always feel so big in them. I’m definitely going to try a bigger sleeve to balance out the look . Love the different colour stripes together xx
Morning lovely:) That's exactly how I felt before. Every pair I tried made my tummy look like I was pregnant again so I swerved them for many years! But having now found a pair that I feel flatter my shape it feels like a revelation and I can totally see the versatility in them. I really advise having a play with the styling and remembering to balance out your proportions, it really made a difference for me. Happy Sunday lovely x

Good morning Jess. I loved outfits 6 and 7. I have a nice pair of PU leggings from Next I've had for over 5 years now- I haven't found a better replacement that look as nice though I would love a pair with a zip to cut down on the wiggling to get them on and off 🤣. I wore them most days on our break in London with different tops and jackets. Xx

Hi Jess. This video couldn’t have come at a better time as I’ve just bought a pair of barrel leg faux leather trousers.They took me a while to choose but I ended up purchasing them from an independent store and they really look and feel like real leather. They are more cropped than my usual trousers which is the only thing I’m trying to get used to. I’m 5ft 7” so I guess I have some advantage that comes with being a bit taller.You’ve given me lots of inspiration of how to style them and hopefully,I’ll begin to feel more confident about the length so many thanks.❤️🥰

The only leather pants I wore regularly were chaps over jeans to go horseback riding in the Black Forest of Colorado! I was gifted a pair of leather trousers once but they didn’t fit. I would give it a go when we move from Florida (too hot for leather) to an actual world class city. You looked great in everything. Wonderful video as always. Happy 2022! 💖✨😎
Hi Jess, I have a pair of leather leggings I invested in a couple of years ago from All Saints. I have been enjoying wearing them with chunky knit jumpers or a fine knit roll neck and oversized blazer. I’ve found that Chelsea boots or biker boots work quite well. I love your videos, and would love to see a new video on your shoe must haves. Have a great week xx
All saints have some great pairs don’t they:) I love their biker jackets too🙌🏻 And I love that style with big chunky boots, I’ve seen that a lot on Instagram. I do feel like I’m seriously lacking in the shoes department! I need to up my game in that this year haha! I don't own any leather trousers but they look great on you so will take a look at the ones you suggested. In the past I have bought faux leather but never end up wearing them more than a couple of times as they just don't feel nice on. I definitely think it's better to invest in the real thing. Hi Jess…I have finally ordered mine and they arrived yesterday! Just as beautiful as I expected!! I ordered size 40 as that is my actual size. They fit lovely but there’s definitely room on my waist. Some people suggest going down a size because leather gives….I know you got size 36 from some of the comments I have read. Is this your usual size or did you go down? I’m contemplating trying size 38 but, I do like the fit of the 40 😅. Thanks for doing this video as it truly inspired me to invest in these pants

Love these leather pants and all your styling ideas! On the website, these pants say “coming soon”! I hope they restock, because I might treat myself to them! I’ve never bought any leather pants because I didn’t want skin tight leather on my legs making me hot and sweaty. This barrel leg style is right up my ally! Keeping the leather off my legs.

@@FashionStyleEdit what size did you get? It says on my website that that the 5’9” skinny model is wearing a size 6! I wear a 4-6, so I’m not sure how a stick thin model would wear a size larger than me. Did you size up from your normal size? I wear a 4 or 27 for reference. I’m 5’6” and have an athletic rectangular figure.
I love all the outfits, as always, but I think I like the one you’re wearing best! Simple black and white classic, and I love that Sezane blouse. I bought a similar one from Massimo Dutti, so couldn’t justify one so similar! It looks so lovely on you. Your hair looks amazing, are you used to it now? Beautiful choices! I have a question about your Sézane blouse. What color would you say it is? Is it true bright white? Eggshell? Ivory? Their site description says ‘white’ but in real life, i’d like your opinion.
Hello Ann, thank you so much for watching:) I would say the blouse is more white than eggshell or beige but not quite as harsh as bright white. It’s hard to define isn’t it especially as they’re so many different shades of white and also being it’s in silk rather than cotton. But say sat next to my bright white cotton shirt there’s about two slight shades difference. Hope that helps lovely x

I adore the navy & black look, also loving the beautiful grey Sezane knit with the leather pants & of course the fabulous black blazer. Haha, they’re a lovely pair of leather trousers:) I went for the 38 and I would say they’re pretty true to size, but, you’ve got belt hooks so I reckon you could make it work and just have them higher waisted? My favorite one was the zip sweater outfit. Then you showed the velvet blazer. I liked that as well. That style of leather trousers is a really good choice. They are not tight or biker look. Are these pants lined? Does any of your teenage children make a face when you wear leather trousers? My mother had leather pants and she looked amazing in them. She also looked like she was trying to dress too young. (to me) I got embarrassed when my mom put them on and wanted to wear them out in our little town. I cringed. But she was a very fashion forward lady. She was a size five and had several pair in several different colors. I have them in my closet. I cant get rid of them.

If you like them, they fit your style and they look good on you, wear them! Age is irrelevant. Love my faux leather pants and I just turned 70

I really want a classic pair of leather trousers, but my weight has been up and down so much these last two years, I don’t want to invest in them until it stabilizes again. Meanwhile, my faux leather ones have the look, but they’re not very comfortable because they don’t breathe at all. The last time I wore them I had a hot flash and they stuck to me like glue, I couldn’t bend my legs. I had to go home and change, a pain.
I thought your skin looked particularly luminous in this video. A million years ago (it feels like), you had started using a Dior line (I think)? Whatever the case may be, your skin looks amazing.
Aww that's kind thanks lovely:) Well remembered, I do still use the Dior Capture Totale actually. I have such sensitive skin and it's one of the only few moisturisers that's never driven my skin mad. Some work to begin with and they they start to irritate me? Thankfully this one has proved to be a winner still:) x
@@FashionStyleEdit A bit of sensitive skin here too. Currently trying out a brand from California - OSEA (clean brand). Not too sure if I will stick to it, but pretty easy on my skin. PAI was the one I had used for a couple of years. Also a nice "clean" brand. Thought as I grow older, I think I am needing something with a bigger hit for the dryness and wrinkles. It's a never-ending quest.

I am vegan and wear minimal leather and I have found several pairs of faux leather pants that look terrific.

One thing that bothers me about your leather trousers is how prominent the top of the zipper is, it really shows. You could try painting it “out” with some flat black paint (you might have to touch it up now and again). If they had used a black zipper instead of that shiny, silver-toned one, or designed them so that the placket covered it more, it would look a lot better. Sorry, I hope I don’t kill your pleasure in them! They are beautiful. I’m just studying them to see what features I might want when I buy mine.
