I liked your video and I could recognize myself in many ways. I drive a red Honda NC 750 X, I was a teacher (just retired) and I don't really know what I'm doing when I'm on my bike😆🙃, but I drive carefully and safe and I'm loving it ! Great bike ! Drive safe! Greetings from Sweden
I can't wait to get to where you are, I still have 12 years till retirement. I figure if I ride so that I can ride again tomorrow I'll have more fun in the long run lol.
Funny about getting used to the DCT. For me, it is taking off from a stop when my left foot is trying to up shift. That foot seems to have a mind of its own. Thanks for the video - very enjoyable.
Lol, my hand rarely looks for the clutch lever but my for is always looking for that dang shifter! I am getting better about not hitting the horn though.
Picked up a barely used 2016 NC700 with 1,600 miles from a coworker for $3,500. It's my first bike, love not having to work a clutch/shifter after years of manual cars. I ride in S2 and play with the paddles as needed. I ride it like I stole it, and have a feeling it's going to be bulletproof for a long time. It's better in twisty stuff than it would appear too, I enjoy it
@@toekneegreen37 always safe! Have a family to get home to, so only spirited riding in good conditions and no traffic. Nothing screams mid life crisis like a NC and ATGATT lol
Enjoyed this video…honest and fun…..but snow in Georgia…wow…..like this bike, thinking about getting one after a very very long hiatus…I live on the island of Jersey….yeah we gave you the name to use hehe…our island is only nine by five miles…small roads, slow speeds but…..200,000 cars….yeah great place for a returning rider….cheers..safe riding and thanks for sharing
Re living your video again, really enjoying it and picking up tips as you ride…I now have my 2023 NC750XDCT….as yet not gone out..too wet , too cold….I plan to start over again with slow riding around the estate I live in….lots to re learn…..braking for one and to get back into that riding zone of awareness…..any tips would be most helpful….thanks again…
It was really cool watching you ride on roads I’m completely familiar with. I used to live in Eastanollee. I’m next door in Fair Play SC now. It seems to me that I’m in the same situation you were in last year. I’m trying to purchase a 2022 or order a 2023 and nobody can help me. I think I’ll try writing to Honda corporate next. Somebody must want my money.
@@toekneegreen37 my bike is on order . They tell me Feb 23rd, 2023 it will ship! I would love to at least sit on one and see how it feels for me. Any chance I could meet you somewhere around Toccoa? Anytime, anywhere. Can you help out a (future) NC750X rider?
The NC is the best STREET bike ever made. You should practice gently pushing blinker cancel three times after every turn every 100 feet until it becomes a habit.
Definitely more of a street bike than adventure bike! I'll go months without leaving the blinker on and then leave that blasted thing on for miles 3 days in a row lol.
Love the "keeping it real" video. I wonder how you would fair getting back on a bike with a clutch and a gear shifter after riding your DCT for a year or so? I have used the Quad lock for over two years, and no problem at all, what i would recommend you buy for it though, is the vibration damper that fits on top of your Quad lock mount and between your phone.
Doing this now. Rode NC750X DCT for the last 2 years. Now added a GSX-R600 to the collection. It takes some time to get used to the clutch again, but the bikes are so different that I am not getting them mixed up.
Great presentation. I’m looking at both the Honda NC 750x and the BMW F750 GS, any recommendations?I only stand 5’7” so that is a factor. Again thank you my friend
I know they lowered the seat height to just over 31 inches, but depending on your inseam I'm not sure if you could flat foot both feet. The seat is narrower on the '21 so that'll help.
Probably lots of, "So it's basically a scooter?" Lol. I've done some slow speed practice and found I drag the rear brake a little more to make up for the lack of a friction zone.
Greetings from Portugal...mine is white. They say white one have more 400 hp and can reach 350 MP/H 😁 ... Nice video! ✌️ P.S: Any problems with turning off randomly? Some have...but mine just have been fixed by Honda.
It is well documented sir, that red is always the fastest lol. Honestly, I would prefer white but we don't have any color choices, just red :( No turning off randomly but I just heard about a recall. I need to check and see if mine is a part of it.
@@toekneegreen37 Yes...Honda made a recall here in Portugal for some models (check VIN) now it's all ok. Only had that problem 1 time...but it was a 15 minutes fix. 👍
Thanks for the video and for keeping it real. I am looking forward to picking up my NC750X DCT soon. Can you tell me which mode do you prefer for just your normal riding. Also, where did you get the new bike break-in procedure? Thanks and keep them coming.
Yep FortNine. Love that guy. I leave it in standard mode for everyday riding. I do thumb it up to sport mode every once in awhile though :) Sport definitely more fun.

@@toekneegreen37 Just got mine...omg I love it!
Got mine in Nashville in December. Glad I got it when I did or it would be yours. Plan on riding to Chattanooga this summer.
Lol, you are probably right. There was one in my city in December but somebody from Atlanta snatched it up.

Thanks! It's a great bike, hope you enjoy it too. I like that...pre loved!
Good video. Nice bike. I've got the manual nc750x and love it. So easy to use. Piled more miles on it than any other bike. Enjoy !
The miles go on easy that's for sure haha
Pleasant ride. Thanks
No problem :)
Just gotta say, loved the video. Keep doing your thing man.
Thanks :)
One of the best tests, matchless. 😂
Definitely
It’s a great touring bike and it’s a Honda. You have a good bike there.👍🏍😎

Moving to Asheville NC in about 8 months. Looking at buying same bike 👍👍
I commute daily on it. Comfortable, great gas mileage (average about 60-65 mpg), and the frunk can't be beat!

FYI...It doesn't mean "No clutch". No clutch lever, yes, but "Dual Clutch Transmission"
Yep, no clutch lever.
i've been wanting a nc750x for a while now. but since the rebel 1100 dct came out, kinda leaning more towards that now.
You can't make a wrong choice between the two :)

Get a Haynes manual for your bikes they are very good for working on your bike

What do you use for a microphone when riding and what model gopro do you use?
The mic is a purple panda and a GoPro 9.
Wonder what kind of comments you would get using your DCT in one of the MSF classes??? They are a bit different when doing slow maneuvers.

Thanks, I'm loving this bike, it's super practical. I'm from the USA.
Just how many gas stations do you have in your area????
Lol, what's worse is ask me how many times I've run out of gas.
Same bike I have, 2015.

Very heavy to Lift Once
Dropped. Phew ? @!..!. .. .
I'm hoping I won't have to lift it anytime soon lol
What's the break in period for this motorcycle? And RPMs
600 miles. I just went through the RPM range. Short rides to warm the engine up then let it cool down.
seen Gran Canaria tours?
Not until now... Looks beautiful!
What is the name of your Jacket?
It is an Olympia. I tried looking for a link for it but apparently they have gone out of business.
