I thoroughly enjoyed seeing you clean up and re-decorate your room. You are so resourceful and it was wonderful to see you make whatever you could to save money. Hugs from Texas! ♡♡♡
Just watched part one and HAD to watch part 2 immediately! Love your intuition for problem solving instead of taking the easy way out (going to the store and buying a bunch of new things). I too struggle with the organization of multiple crafts but I’m not nearly as clever as you are!😂
Just an FYI for the future, if/when you use contact paper, you can use a hair dryer to help shape the corners. I recently learned that hack and it made things so much easier with edges (especially curved ones). 😁
I love the color of your room. It's very pretty. And you've got lots of practical good storage, too. I've got a bunch of beanie babies living in a closet that I might do the chain with. And an old spring rocking horse my kids had. It would be cute to make a saddlebag type storage for my flowers on it. Thanks for sharing.
Lol nope, that’s the magic of contact paper 😂 Before I had the table I had a random piece of wood that I covered with the same contact paper and did everything on the floor in my room
Hi Megan! You’re so creative! Anyway, my idea/suggestion for your smoochie, moochie containers is keeping small sewing notions such as safety pins, buttons, pearls, etc. I hope this helps! Keep up the creativity! Aurora
I bought an old banquet table that was 8 foot by 3 ft (can't remember the exact measurements but I only paid 10 dollars each and I got 2 of them) and I spray painted the legs silver and used a speckled patterned contact paper to cover the top. I also chose to paint the top of the table white and I took a fabric measuring tape and clear packing tape and taped the entire measuring tape to the table. It works for all kinds of crafts!
Thanks! I have a few more things I’d like to do in here, but it’s actually turning into a pretty functional space which is awesome 😊 let me know how cleaning your room goes! 💜
This is so inspiring. So much effort is put into it. I don't think I could have imagined or done it by myself. Also off topic but that kitty is soooooo cute 😸❤️🥰
Nice makeover video. For plastic containers, a super easy way I found to make labels is hand printing with a black Sharpie on a strip of Scotch removable tape. I also make a little tab on one side of the tape strip by folding over a tiny piece (about 1/8"). This makes the tape super easy to peel off when I need to change a label. This technique could also be done with low stick plain washi tape. I also tried this technique with Scotch Magic tape (permanent), but the removable tape works better because I can also use it on my Ikea units. The Magic tape stuck too well on the Ikea unit when I tried to remove them change a label...For my fabric bins, I use the Scotch Magic tape - it sticks great for me. I got my fabric bins at Tar-get....
LOVE LOVE LOVE what you dd to your craft room!!! It looks awesome and you had sun imaginative ideas like the table skirt and bulletin board!! GREAT JOB!!! you have inspired me to really get going on getting my craft room started!!! Thank you for sharing Megan!!!! Have a great week! ~Amy
Megan, Wow! What an improvement! Thank you for showing how you made your own tags and remade your table. That helps with more ideas for me. Also, Did you know that you can use clear Contact paper as transfer paper for your vinyl? Just FYI. I do it and it works great.
Wow I definitely don’t think that far in advance 😂 my family doesn’t get rid of much (obviously) and when someone dies it either goes to other family members or is donated.
@@MeganWeller Well, I'm surely not planning on dying soon, but I know there are a lot of little surprises if I die and my family has to search through the stuff. They'll find silly dolls or objects in little pots/jars on the cabinet-shelves, they'll find a whole collection of feathers in the cabinet. And I've got old Harry Potter books (at the least 15 years old, most of them older) and they're paperback and worn out fully, so I've decided it was okay to write in them with pencil. So now, if you read it, sometimes it has a sarcastic comment at the side, or a flaw that I found in the book and pointed out in pencil. xD That being said, I loved leaving little 'notes' throughout school for example, in my old locker or in the trainstation. And in my boyfriend's house, I did the same thing, because I hoped he would find the notes and be happy and surprised. His notepad had little secret messages in between the pages and some of his books have a note inside, with a nice greeting or a love-message. I mean...he dumped me and I didn't take him back, so finding them will become a horrible haunting occurrence for him now, but youknow..I don't know where I was going with this...xD
Great redo on your craft room! One suggestion if you decide to switch out the table skirt if you do it in 2 panels you don't have to move it out of the way to sit down. It will naturally split and go right back when you get up.
I’ve thought about doing a Q & A video for a while, but I felt like no one would watch it. Maybe I’ll ask and if I get enough questions I’ll finally do one! Is there a specific question you have for me?
Great set of videos and the room looks beautiful. Your cat did a good job of keeping you moving along and on point! I have two that like to supervise me. Thank you so much for sharing...
WOW! You did an AMAZING job!! I love your cat :). Thank you for sharing. I hope you are well, I hope you don't mind, I'm going to say a prayer for you, your health.
Lots of good work! You might have saved a lot of time fussy cutting the circles by getting a heavy duty 2 inch or bigger circle punch from Michael's, Joann's, Hobby Lobby, AC Moore. Also why not use a paper cutter for your drawer liners/decorators?
Good idea! I actually really love the valance idea, I might just do that! I was planning on making a mat/thread catcher for my sewing machine with some of the fabric and some old jeans in the next episode, the covers would be nice but truthfully I’m such a visual person that they wouldn’t be super useful (aka they’d spend more time on the floor than covering the machines 😂) Thanks for the ideas though! 💜
i kept pausing the video and going back because i saw you had the 50 pack of washable markers as i realized i had them. i also didnt even notice they were washable. btw i really love to watch your videos. bye
If you haven’t already could you a make a video describing how to use the cricut tools because I want to buy them but I don’t wanna buy them before knowing how they work

Am I the only one who finds it cool how this is her craft room and she literally crafted the room itself cuz she did a lot of diys and stuff get it?
Haha that’s how my bedroom is too, everything is either second hand or my dad or I made it 😊
That was the most confusing joke if ever read
No, I don’t get it.
i get it but it’s not very funny 😬
The Curly Q don’t got be so rude, and if you can’t say anything nice just don’t say it please!
When the cat was laying on the table skirt sooo cute❤❤

Nobody’s gonna talk about how creative she is?
Still wish I had a friend like you near by to help me with my craft space :D
I wish I had a craft space. I only get my small room for my big imagination.... But I'm not picky.....
@@Bleached_Demon see how you can use that space like storage bins can double as a table. Then store it away. I used to have to do that. ❤
Mx. Frisk i don’t have enough space for a desk so i use the top of my dresser as a desk
So.. So purple...
I LOVE IT!!!
i purple you!
Armyyy! Yeah armys are everywhere
Tae Tae I don’t
I wonder what her favorite color is??
😝😝
I wonder what your favorite color is??😂💜
Definitely not purple
BT 91 not being mean but purple is so ugly now it’s like an old color it needed to be kept in 2014 not 2019 it’s ugly and it’s childish
Hayli 24 What? How is purple “childish?” It’s just a color. I didn’t know that certain colors were trendy. 🧐
Hayli 24 that’s ur opinion. KEEP IT TO URSLEF
It’s orange duh should be obvious

I have a cart like that and use for my scraps paper. It was wobbling then I tighten up the screws and now it is working great.

Who else is binge watching this channel
I love how you diyed a lot of the stuff
Wow! You're such a wonderful crafter!
This gives me anxiety because when I imagine owning this much stuff when I’m 95 and dying I automatically imagine all of it in a landfill.
