- 343 Industries took the stage at the Xbox + Bethesda E3 2021 showcase to show off a brand new trailer for Halo Infinite, followed with an all new look at its free to play multiplayer mode, both launching Holiday 2021 for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

I fucking love how careful Chief is with the dead Marines. It shows his true humanity that he’s genuinely got inside of him, and that he has been continuously struggling with since Halo 4 and 5.
I was going to say the same exact thing. Especially how he catches that one dead Marine and lets him go and looks back at him

True humanity? That has never been an argument in Halo's storyline. Halo is about humanity doing everything they can to survive against the impossible odds of war against a super advanced alien race. Where did you get that the Master Chief has conflict about his "humanity"?

Its so wholesome seeing the care and gentleness that Chief treats the dead marines with. You really get the feeling that Chief isn't some mindless super soldier, but rather the protector of humanity.

He was at the start. When the Covenant came knocking it changed John's prespective on many things, seeing death all around him.
He's always been this way though. From gently catching and laying down the deceased Marine in 343 Guilty Spark from Combat Evolved, to the way he held Johnson's hand until his final breath. Chief has always cared a helluva lot for his fellow man, even if he was created with the intention of destroying his fellow man.
Right it’s better than the sociopath from the books.
Just do Chief the justice he deserves. So far it all looks promising.

Seeing Joe Statens face on the stage talking about Halo again is fucking beautiful to see.
During chief's EVA into that hangar it seemed sad, sad just to see everyone else dead and see all of the destruction.

I felt at home and felt...hope...when Joseph Staten was there to show us our legend chief! To have a veteran of halo for this really gives that halo feel. Looks rad! I love the sheer bulk and weight of ol chief with his badass dialogue! The sounds are great too! Him landing really feels impactful! Can't wait. It's feels good to be back. :') hope it's back to halo....hope.

I do agree to a certain extent. the OG assault rifle will always be close to my heart and the new one seems to fire very similarly to the new BR but I do like the more obvious presence of bullet fire on the new assault rifle if that makes sense. If they could bring the audio and spray 40-50% closer to the OG that would be perfect! Like your username BTW I sing and play guitar as well 🤘

I like the detail of this New Cortana sounding younger than the original. The fact that she has clothes now, too, helps with making her feel like a different character, rather than an exact clone.

I'm actually having a hard time being impressed because it seems so slow to me after playing Doom Eternal for so long. Maybe if they could just double the speed of that grappling hook.
@@SarahSchlongfeel Its a preview so It probably seems faster than it actually be. But for me personally id rather get the utility of the hook being able to grab objects and interact with the environment, it just kinda adds combat depth IMO.
@@Ragnarok927 I definitely want the grappling hook to play a big part of the game's mechanics. After playing Doom Eternal, I need a lot of mobility and speed. I also want a high skill ceiling. Like, if you haven't seen him already, go watch Sylar play Doom Eternal. I'm sure Halo Infinite won't even come close to that. I mean... I hope I'm wrong... But I won't be lol. I just hope I can still enjoy it. We'll see I guess.

@@Ragnarok927 oh yeah you can quick switch. I would definitely welcome some kind of team deathmatch in Doom Eternal that used all the main game's mechanics. I guess you would still have to have fodder demons to refill ammo. The demons would have to be against both teams, that way you're fighting over resources. That would actually be pretty badass. It would be weird but it could work. Most of all, I want a co-op campaign. Both in Doom and Halo.

The falcon side guns better be actually useful though. I was dumbfounded at how short ranged they were in reach. You basically had to have the falcon hovering 10 feet off the ground for the side guns to hit anyone on the ground
Reach armors are literally in the multiplayer, and they’ve said it’s more customizable than reach.

I play Halo because I like shooting games, the game mechanics are solid, the visuals are usually top shelf, and the worlds are often breathtaking. I couldn't give a crap about saving humanity.

My favorite part was when chief was going into ship or something like that, the way he genitally moves the dead bodies of the marines and the way he just pushes and throws the banished out of the way. And the destruction the banished caused to the ship and everyone on it makes us feel hopeless. Feels noice
