He is so unimpressed by the army you are putting up against him that he is willing to spend precious rocket ammo on the easiest mob. Let that sink in.
One of the coolest parts of the campaign , is how as you start capturing more fobs around the map and gaining valor, more of your marines show up to each fob, eventually there is more UNSC personnel than banished! It really makes you feel like your rebuilding the UNSC

Not too disappointed about the variety of environments. Important thing is it looks as though the game has a solid foundation for future content, so releasing dlc/expansions in the future that include different environments should be easily doable. Bring on Wednesday!!!!

I've been a PlayStation player my whole life, Recently downloaded Halo Infinite on my PC and boy it's Lit, gameplay wise it's easily 10/10 (Talking about multiplayer)

Just over 60% completed, going for every little tidbit and climbing alot of mountains to find Easter eggs (there are alot!), I'm surpassing 20 hours now. Can easily play for another 10-15 This is on heroic for a first playthrough, gotta so legendary next for sure so potentially 60+ hours of campaigning
The game is nostalgic but also really fresh. There are a lot of subtle callbacks and references to level designs from the original trilogy which are so fun to come across but the story is also really interesting and compelling so far. Haven’t beat it totally yet. But the open world is probably my favorite feature so far. There’s just a lot to do and it’s just fun to be able to collect and upgrade gear to go into the next mission
After Halo 5’s bad campaign 343 really needed to nail this one. I’m happy they went with a more Halo CE open style campaign and the art style, mainly the Forerunner architecture really reminds me of CE too.
My guess is the development for this game was absolute hell so, to focus on gameplay and everything happening in the open world, they cut biomes. It’s sad but I’m hopeful for campaign dlc

The aesthetics of the ring In infinite make much more sense. After all, they're weapons built by the forerunners, built to either wipe out all life in the galaxy or to contain the Flood. Why would there be towns and cities everywhere? In infinite you truly feel like you're in a complete 'man' made alien setting, exactly how it should be.
It took 3 games, but 343 seems to have found its footing with the franchise. You've got the foundation, now grow it. Let's get some story and map expansions with snowy areas, desert areas, urban areas, and more. Grow the Zeta Halo ring into the promising destructive playground it deserves to be.

Just beat it today. Miles ahead of 5. The next one just needs some jaw dropping moments like scarab tanks dropping in and were in business. One of the best. Go chief!
Since Halo Infinite is a 10 year game, we will definitely see story expansions. Would be really cool if those introduce new environments that are different.
The intros for the Banished bosses remind me of the Uruk and Olog-Hai (Troll) nemesis intros from Shadow Of Mordor and Shadow Of War. This is very welcome because it gives these Brutes and Elites a sense of personality.

@@duuke4618 they claimed that Halo Infinite will be a platform similar to Destiny, where each new DLC brings new stories. Hopefully this includes new maps, new weapons, new vehicles, and new enemies (the flood)

Between Battlefield - CoD and Halo, Halo definitely won this year. I'm having so much fun with it. Totally worth my 60€
This game was an absolute blast, the best campaign since Reach. It’s by far 343’s best work on Halo so far

The aesthetics of the ring In infinite make much more sense. After all, they're weapons built by the forerunners, built to either wipe out all life in the galaxy or to contain the Flood.
Why would there be towns and cities everywhere? In infinite you truly feel like you're in a complete 'man' made alien setting, exactly how it should be.

Microsoft is really gunning it in 2021. Forza Horizon 5, Age of Empires IV and now Halo Infinite, all available on the Game Pass from day 1.
7 years in development and they didn’t manage to create any variety in levels, nor cutscenes that didn’t include holo grams.

really....The game has zero variety, the bosses are all the same in terms of mechanics and vehicle diversity is almost none existent in teh campaign.
I've been playing all the Halo campaigns for more than a year and man, seeing 343 bring Halo back at the top gives me tears of joy

It took 3 games, but 343 seems to have found its footing with the franchise. You've got the foundation, now grow it. Let's get some story and map expansions with snowy areas, desert areas, urban areas, and more. Grow the Zeta Halo ring into the promising destructive playground it deserves to be.

@@Padlock_Steve Literally ran into cheaters 3 games in a row on ranked yesterday. 343 need to sort this fast or else the game will die. On PC at least, console will probably get crossplay toggle soon enough.

So does the game allow completion in coop mode? Really miss that feature from 1. Trying to decide if this one game is worth getting the Xbox platform or better to go with ps5

Great review Ryan! Fingers crossed that environmental affects/effects can be added in post (we've seen how they can do it for Holiday themed multiplayer maps) but stoked none the less to get my hands on this Campaign..
im glad they at least tried to continue from where 5 left off some of the books followed characters a bit after 5 but it would have been nice to see more than just try to tie up loose ends

Just beat it today. Miles ahead of 5. The next one just needs some jaw dropping moments like scarab tanks dropping in and were in business. One of the best. Go chief!

Since Halo Infinite is a 10 year game, we will definitely see story expansions. Would be really cool if those introduce new environments that are different.

The intros for the Banished bosses remind me of the Uruk and Olog-Hai (Troll) nemesis intros from Shadow Of Mordor and Shadow Of War. This is very welcome because it gives these Brutes and Elites a sense of personality.
