Yes, you are correct, Gwyneth Paltrow used to be a chain smoker. It started when she was a teenager, and quit when she became pregnant with her first child. She has admitted in interviews that she misses it because she found it to be "relaxing."

Target is way over priced. I get good products at Grocery Outlet or the $1 store 😍Elf face primers are not sticky at all-mineral based. TJ Maxx is great too
I like TJ Max but bought and eyebrow pencil and some powder labeled light. I took them home and tried them. So long story short they would not let me return them. I got other things that I like since they were both boxed so…

Agree. Walmart is less expensive too. I buy what I can’t get anywhere else but Target, then go to Walmart for the remainder. I try to save money on my basics so I can afford my other essentials at Ulta and Sephora 🤷♀️
The profit margin at Target is about 2 to 3%. I check Amazon regularly before I run to Target and it’s so, so often identical
My skin has never looked better since I started following some of tips shared on her channel!! If I could have her review one thing is the NYX Licorice Root primer given all the promises it makes - I have been using it now for about 3wks and I have noticed softer skin but I wonder if using it for the long haul of it can make a bigger difference 🤷🏻♀️

Vaseline dry hands rescue is great. Been out for awhile. Doesn’t leave your hands sticky or greasy
It's always nice to see what's new and what you think of the products. Some of Target's prices are a little crazy! the eczema honey soothing cream has been a game changer for me. CVS sometimes has a coupon for their lotion/cream, target had a gift card promotion sale, etc. its expensive but has been a cure all for me. i would highly recommend trying the soothing cream. they have a nut oil and nut free version as well!! so be aware of that. ive also tried the hand lotion and body lotion, and i do like them! they absorb fast, are soothing, and are not greasy.
the soothing cream has helped small cuts and split dry skin heal faster, helps my partners mask rash from flaring up amid covid masking, helps burn scars heal and even out, and has even has helped cracks in between my toes from excessive moisture. i recommend that stuff to everyone who mentions to me that they need to find a lotion to use for their sensitive skin issues.

Olay is seriously ridiculous with all their overlapping products.
I use a blurring primer to matify the sunscreens that make my face too shiny. The blurring primer also effectively minimises pores & fine lines and improves the appearance of my neck. My skin then looks naturally healthy, smooth & even enough that I don't need to wear foundation, or powder! I don't apply the blurring primer on the highest point of my cheekbones though (as the sunscreen's sheen gives them an instant highlight)...and I also don't apply the blurring primer to the tip of my nose either (as it looks more youthful un-mattified). I then just use a creamy matte (but not chalky) flesh toned pencil specifically in the deepest part of my eye troughs, to completely remove any shine and shadow (that would otherwise highlight this problematic area).
Sometimes I don't need to do this step if I have had 8 hrs+ sleep!
It is worthwhile trying, because it is silly to just wear foundation & powder just to counteract the sunscreen shine.
I find in hotter climates the more foundation & powder that is applied, the more can go wrong!

I wouldn't agree more on the vaseline part 😊❤. Vaseline indeed has great moisturizers and fragrance free too the expert care instant dry skin rescue (hyaluronic acid+glycerin+petroleum jelly) and the sensitive skin relief (colloidal oat meal +ceramides+petroleum jelly) 😊❤ soooo goood 🎉. Target indeed has excellent finds i guess it makes up for it because its clothing isn't top notch ❤. Have a great day Doctor Andrea 😊.
Yes, before the pandemic Target had very good quality clothing. It is sad to see that no longer exists.

Target started using thinner material and their sizing changed, so in one brand you’ll be one size, but in another you’ll be a totally softener size even though both brands are manufactured by Target. They still have some good clothing finds, but they’re harder to find.

Olay and P&G have actually addressed the "myth" about m.i. They said that they use a more purified version and the allergy profile is better than phenoxyethanol and paraben. They are safe for cosmetic products even for sensitive skin.

Hi Dr Dray!! I have struggled with seborrheic dermatitis on my forehead for a while now and have had great relief using a prescription sulfur wash. I came across a company called derma zen- they seem to make products for seborrheic dermatitis. I would love to hear your thoughts on their products as they are pricey! Always love your videos ❤️
Dr Dray does have a couple videos on sulfur and has reviewed some products but she tends to recommend the de la cruz sulfur.

At Target, the Black Girl Sunscreen for kids is one of the best values. It Works well over facial hair. Perhaps a little heavy during the summer, but great during the cooler months.
My favorite along with Banana Boat plus Vitamins for the face.
Looked up Shicimik acid it's from Star Anise (?) I never like perfumes period I use usually organic products One of them uses Malic acid ( apple peptides) which works for me since I'm in my 70s now

I was bad. I never wore sunscreen it burned around my eyes. Until I started watching this channel and found there are sunscreens that don’t burn. Now I wear it every day

My dermatologist never mentioned sunscreens that don’t burn. Actually my eyes aren’t sensitive it just when I smile or squint my cheeks roll up toward my eyes

I agree with you about primers, don't think you need them when you have used moisturiser and sunscreen I do not use it. :):)
Something to appreciate with the sunscreen sprays is that they are a godsend when you have nobody to help you rub lotion on and want to at least have some sun protection on your back when swimming.
I also really hate reapplying lotion sunscreen on sandy skin so I use a spray at the beach because I end up reapplying way more often than I do with lotion

I liked the Sunday Riley niacinimaide serum, but I wouldn't buy it. I got mine in a beauty subscription box.
If I’m using several products that already contain Niacinamide, is it overkill to use a separate niacinamide serum as well?
Yes! She warns against that. The ideal percentage in studies was like 5% so it’s easy to add up to way too much if everything has it in it.
I don't understand why brands put one ceramide in products when all the research is on at least the "essential" 3 along with cholesterol and fatty acids.

I just found your channel recently, so forgive me if you have already talked about this, but - what are your thoughts on the brand Naturium? They are sold at Target. I like their stuff so far, but I don't know if some of the products really have much to offer by way of anti-aging or are just good plain moisturizers. The beauty community (which I follow) loves their lip balms, I like the retinol body lotion in the light blue tube and the marshmallow face moisturizer. EDIT: I just searched your channel and am going to watch your whole brand review video on them, but I wonder if anything has changed in the two years since that was made? Or if your thoughts have changed?
Dr Dray has a brand review of this line. There are other derms who have reviewed a handful of products but several of them are/have been on the naturium board at some point.
Personally I love their azelaic acid emulsion and their two retinals, highly recommend!
Any recommendations for pregnant women? I struggle with hormonal acne but will have to stop all retinols once pregnant 😭
I believe she usually suggests azeleic acid in that case. She has videos on this topic

I use Almay sensitive skin fragrance free and love it. Very sensitive skin and crazy allergies here fyi.
