Used your watch safari videos as a reference for my recent visit to HK. Toured through Mong Kok, TST and Central and ended up with an IWC Mark XX at a great price. Many thanks for your videos!
I visited Hong Kong last month and I literally followed your latest watch walkabout video in the Central ana Mongkok areas. The weather was very hot unfortunately but I was able to see the shops. Special mention to Berne Horology.
One of the good things buying and wearing watches in Hong Kong is the safe environment on the streets, save small hours at some places. You normally don't need to worry wearing your expensive watches on the street
@uptick - i’m looking for a particular watch, there arent many on the market but are a few available in HK, sold by dealers with non watch specific company names and started trading in recent years. I always avoid these dealers for fear of being ripped off or being sold a fake……am i right to avoid them?
Nice update. Obviously on any site, sale price is the desired data not list. There are dreamers/greedy people on every site. Maybe the flipper who bought the 126713grnr should have just let the AD sell it to a real watch fan?
Hey uptick, great info on recent pricing. I’m coming to Hong Kong next month for work and looking to buy some pre owned jlc and Rolex, what dealers, would you recommend?
Well known grey dealers are 28watches, Ken’s watch, legend success timepiece. They won’t be as cheap as going the Carousell route but are a good place to start your search. Enjoy your time in HK!
Absolutely amazing prices compared to the UK

Carousell app is just for Asian Market :( I cannot install based in America (continent). Great informative video uptick ! Thank you !

Will the sellers on carousel ship worldwide?
Some dealers does, but private sellers usually only deal face to face
Thanks !
In Hong Kong you are totally free to do what you want with your cash… for now.
Carousell has terrible reputation in Singapore as it is all lowballers
Same here, gotta fend off all sorts but you also meet lots of good people. Selling is a tough job, thats why dealers get paid to do it.
