found a good strat so basically just set an odd timer e.g. 4.6 seconds or whatever depending on what you're doing, and then draw the box from the rectangle auto clicker and get it to click on the same square so your character doesnt move but it randomises the time spend clicking in the free version of garys hood. you're welcome.
for example, im training thieving so im at hosidius at the fruit tables indoor, and ive got the rectangle on half empty square half table and it randomises the time. that given you have to empty out the fruit every now and again but might work with crabs for melee training too. good to just set and watch some youtube until you're full of fruit.

Tools such as Mouse Keys or even simply rebinding a left-click event to some keyboard key seems generally accepted and agreed upon throughout the community so long as it follow some 1:1 input/output ratio that everyone refers to, which was or wasn't mentioned by Gagex themselves. There have been fletching speedruns using such defined-spot tools and I can imagine players with good intentions (who stick to this 1:1 rule) high alch by just leaving their mouse on the spell / notes, pressing some keyboard button to perform the click event.
If randomization in *where* we click, as opposed to the time between clicks was the culprit here, how would Gagex discern the two players programmatically?
Typically play time, lazy botters run it overnight and get banned.

@@nomscripts i used basic garys good with 2 clickers one set at 2.5 seconds 1 set at 3.5 seconds to alch 55 to 94 magix recently and i ran it for almost 2 months straight everytime id notice id been logged out and i never got banned ive also used it to flick health regen pray to keep my hp at 1 in nmz and havnt been banned

Ive randomized the delay to click, and delay between clicks and its been good so far. every couple of loops you can also add some time also for extra randomness. instead of clicking, it sends numpad 5 for mousekey input so you dont have to randomize the click location, because you dont accidently bump a mouse when clicking via mousekeys.
Also a good idea and makes the script easier.
Ah smart, I'm gonna look into doing this. Have a TKL keyboard so wasn’t able to haha.
Hey, what was the input you're using for Numpad5? I can't get it to work on AHK no matter what... pressing it works fine without AHK open
Edit: tried rebinding a different key to click in ahk, tried numpad 5 multiple times, it enters the input (e.g. 5) in game rather than registering the click. The rebinds work in game when NOT using the AHK script from Nom. Very weird, but any help is appreciated..

What exactly did you use?
I’ve made roughly 10 accounts on osrs, i used an auto clicker to get 99 mage and used it on the rock cake in nmz to stay 1 hp and not log out on all my accounts. I’ve never been banned on a single account for “botting”. You gotta be extremely unlucky to get banned for an auto clicker in my experience playing rs since 2006.

you can also slowly train agility in edgeville dungon using an auto clicker, wayyyyyyyy slower then magic tho.
did this on my ironman. also autoclicking the mining spots at GOTR, got from 75-92 mining on ironman as well. Lastly minnows, its slow (100-150 sharks/hr) but still better than doing it manually

Screw the uniform distribution. Use a bimodal, heavy tailed distribution. Sometimes misclick and sometimes take a ton of time between clicks.

If you really want to br safe do as I do, start your autoclicker and start saving your patterns, play normally for about 3 to 4 hrs, save and play it twice for a total of i hrs is 100% undetectable and you can also use it the days after, do re start the auto clicker after 5 hrs because of the 6 hrs break

Unfortunately, this is actually is pretty easy to detect unless you spend a lot of time making the randomized behavior look less computer-like. Probably the simplest randomized clicker would use a uniform distribution, such that every point within a square on the screen will have an equal likelihood of getting clicked. With enough data points, Jagex could just plot all the clicks and see that it's a clearly defined box. For instance, something like that that shows up at 0:58 in the video. You can see a square forming here. With enough points, we would see a completely filled in perfect square. No human would produce such a pattern with clearly defined edges and corners. The one in the video doesn't seem to be exactly a uniform distribution, since we can see that there are more points near the center of the square, but it's still obviously a box. (I'd guess that it might be a normal distribution, but with a limited range that cuts the tails off the distribution.) So it seems like the programmer did think about this problem and made some progress on it, but it's still detectable. You certainly could design an improved random clicker that looks more like actual human clicks than this one, but creating one that is completely undetectable would be pretty difficult or impossible. There are lots of existing statistical methods that Jagex could be using to automatically compare your clicks with known human clicks
The target is a box so the clicks should be a box. Set the chance to change position lower to reduce data points sent, change settings and position before enough data is sent to show a clearly defined box.
Could still be improved, but I already made a randomised macro recorder which I would consider undetectable given enough recordings, this video was just an experiment.

Yea. You guys are next level lol. I wrote my autoclicker in python and defined 2 boundaries for x,y dimensions (4 in total). So for each dimension, you parameterize a normal distribution with mean equal to the midpoint between boundaries and std dev equal to the inter-boundary distance divided by 6. After plotting simulated distributions, I am confident that the tails are smooth enough to be undetectable. ANY bot IS detectable this way by comparing the tails to a standard normal distribution. HOWEVER, it requires more samples to prove when the distributions are more similar. Therefore, Jagex won't detect it if they don't keep enough samples at one time. It would be pretty costly to keep this many data points in memory for EVERY player out there.

Uniform random is in theory detectable if they record your click delay and run statistical tests on the delay between clicks. What should be undetectable are click delays drawn from a normal distribution with a mean and variance determined experimentally by recording yourself alching and calculating them. Did just that and never got banned alching to 99 in my house. It is not necessary to vary the click location, Jagex likely doesn't know it, and it is perfectly within the rules to just remove your mouse and click with a key on your keyboard at the same location.

LoL if you think jagex doesnt know the click location ur legit a vegetable. obviously they can tell that! its about the only thing they _CAN_ tell
ya its not against rules to click with keyboard in same location but nobody does that for massive amounts of time on end. usually people change the click location at some point
I mean you can be hella accurate with something like high alching because the mouse doesn’t have to move, when I did my high alching I just put my mouse side ways and clicked repeatedly while watching movies..
Bots are usually only banned on reports.
I used auto clicker when mobile came got 3 99s and no ban to this day and still auto click stuff here and there

i tried botting mining with autoclicker on mobile, its slightly better than pc (ban at 70 instead of 60), but i atest this to the fact that mobile requires more user input to get setup, more user input == more trusted acc

gods honest truth.. you dont need a randomized Autoclicker, through sheer experience I can tell you they have never banned any of my 10+ accounts with max combat. Only time I've had issues is during their live bot busting events, they nicked an acc with a temp ban once, but only that one time in 10+ years of this method.

Because these days you can make money with high alching! Yesterday I found a item that gives 300 coins per alch. The items costs 50 coins each
i dont use garyhoods but i have used an autoclicker and jammed my arrow key so it spins and have alched and splashed for hours lol xD

I used garyshood on a pure. I opened two tabs and then set the clicks to different speeds. Left it for 8 hour work days for a couple weeks cannoning ogres by castlewars

@@francisbalfour1243 Technically, that's exactly the weakness: humans have patterns, they have no "completely random distribution". You can intuitively test this: if you try to spread random pixel dots on a white blank, and compare it to randomly distributed noise, you'll easily see what's human and whats not. I guess if there are enough "random clicks" it'll be easy to spot. In reality, I wouldn't worry about changing mouse position too much: if I want to click the perfect same spot hundreds of times - I just lift the mouse. That's perfectly legit, and Jagex can't exactly claim I'm a bot for doing so. And I think its more believable than having every click slightly offset randomly.
