Not only do u share great recipes for the body and scripture for the soul u have in a sense became my guardian angel.. also what brand of cookware is this pot.. God Bless u and thank u from the bottom of my heart ❤❤

    This is what I do ever since learning it from someone in the south! I use the canned milk, a lb of block cheese and whole wheat macaroni because its all covered on WIC in Arizona!!! 100% free meal! You have to ask your WIC case worker for the canned milk though! But I NEVER thought to boil the pasta in the milk!!! How delicious!! And it saves me bottled water because we can't use our faucet water. Knowing that I am struggling and blessed to receive WIC and this recipe came about my subscriptions, I felt so emotional when you read the scriptures!!! Thank you. You are my favorite creator!

    • @kristin1652
      @kristin1652 Рік тому +5

      @Ka-peach? yes, I understand nothing is free. I remember paying my fair share of taxes and being resentful about that too. Now I'm in a hard spot and am using what I paid into. And I'll admit, I'm still resentful that I pay property taxes that go to public school children's education when my kids are not in the public school system and the children's parents who enroll them in public school are receiving a free education when the majority of them could afford to pay for it. So, believe me, I completely understand that our socialized system is unfair and we mostly pay for those that don't deserve it or abuse the system. But for once, I understand why it's there and refuse to abuse it like others. And in the grand scheme of things, I wish none of these programs existed. If I didn't have to pay property tax, self employment tax, and tax on all our goods and services, then I likely wouldn't have reached out to WIC. But our system of give and take became too much for my family. And if we didn't have the president we do now, I guarantee we'd all be in a better financial position now.

      @@kristin1652 Chin up. I had family that went from the top to less than the top due to large company losses. CHIP in our state was used for the youngins health care, and it supplied what was needed at that time. You are good to take what is available and needed in this time. Don't sweat the uninformed comments. Any of us can be underwater in 10 minutes. Just teach those kids what is right and what is wrong. And how to add, subtract, and divide. (Don't teach them to multiply until they're 18. :) )Smart young minds will be what is needed to move us back to a successful country. I'm sorry to see that communists are attacking their minds right now, and not challenged, or removed directly, with extreme prejudice. It's going to be a long decade.

    We've noticed that the taste of the boxed mac&cheese has changed. We don't buy it any longer. It seems more and more pre-packaged meals, in trying to cut costs have begun using more chemicals and it shows in the weird taste. This is the solution. Doesn't really take any longer, it's cheaper and much healthier. Thank you again, Becky!

Mark 16:16 He that is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Acts 2:41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. This verse amazes me that 3 thousand people chose to be baptized this day.

    Hey Brenda! I've been enjoying your UA-cam videos for a few years now, but I've never commented on any of them. I appreciate this mac & cheese video: an easy, homemade video like this and others are very, very helpful!! I've been wanting more dishes that I can easily make and not be putting more preservatives and other chemicals in our food. I would certainly welcome as many simplified, homemade recipes as you can think of. I appreciate your heart for God and your boldness in sharing His Word. God bless you, sweetheart.

    Whole cows milk is plant based lol.....I was raised on a farm 72 years ago and still eat as I did growing up on the farm, fresh eggs, fresh milk and butter, pork meat of all types gravy and biscuits and fresh garden veggies. The new plant based everything isn't for me.

    I tried this recipe today. I used organic whole milk plus some quinoa and brown rice pasta that I got from Aldi.
    For the cheeses, I used some cheddar that I got from Trader Joe’s and some smoked Gouda as well.
    Trader Joe’s unexpected cheddar is what I used in case anyone’s wondering. But I added some black pepper at the end.
    Even with the pasta that I had, it came out so creamy. Thanks, Becky!
    It’s important to put God first. :-)

    Just made this for breakfast! Much better than the supermarket Mac and cheese! First time I made this homemade.....reminds me of my Mom's home-made fettuccine Alfredo! Thank you for this recipe and the wonder talk on Isaiah 61....a chapter very important to me. There is a hymn composed by Lucien Deiss based on Isaiah 61,. in seminary, we sung this hymn frequently.!

    I’d recommend Coopers sharp cheddar. I get the white and shred it myself. The reason I recommend white as opposed to yellow is because typically the yellow is not as creamy in my opinion. I think they add some type of bean to it for color and flavor. I do boil the pasta in water and add the milk after so there is no way to scorch the milk and bake it in the oven for about 20-30 minutes. I love to add pepper to my milk roux. Before baking, I add a bit of paprika to the top. Thin tomato slices are great as well. ❤
