We have PDF file with a technical drawing with several part numbers (spare parts). Can the PDF be converted so that we can connect the article number listed in the drawing with the article in a database? So one-click on the article number on the drawing and as a link/result the article in the database.
Is it possible to lock DWG file ,just earlier version of AutoCAD 2015,2014,2013,..... in latest versions like 2021,2022,2023...because there is only validate signature feature after 2015 version. Please give information about it.
Quite frankly, AutoCad can already do all of this. To output a PDF file, just use the DWG to PDF option in the Plot dialog. Also, one can import a PDF to DWG with the AutoCad PDF Import option. I suppose, if one doesn't have AutoCad, this would be useful, but why would I ever send a DWG file to someone without AutoCad? I'll just print it out as a PDF, same as I do for Excel, Word et al.
Though you are right, I have found PDF agile to be better at recognizing text and converting it directly into Mtext right out of the box. This however is still not polished in AutoCAD especially when text is vertically aligned.
