Hey, u converted text which was in polyline form to text...now what about those dimensions which are in the polyline form, how can I convert them to dimensions?
**NEW USER** Anyone else still having issues with this? My PDF document, still comes in almost like an image, and not a drawing, if that makes sense. Background still white, and nothing on the floor plan is clickable, and therefore not editable. I could use any assist available.
As a very new user of AutoCAD, I have found certain things quite difficult, including scaling drawings from imported PDFs. Your explanation and demonstration of how to do this would appear to be exactly what I need in order to learn what I need to , in order to use AutoCAD in my job. I am using autocad 2016 version but while importing or attaching file dialouge box doesnot appear(to select pdf file) instead it ask for ATTACH path to file to attach in command promt only. How to solve
Really good video. Followed step by step but only managed to import part the pdf. I cannot for the life of me figure out why. Please can I send it it in so this can be looked at, imported and sent back as dwg. I would really like to know why it is. Please help! Pete

Scale is wrong? You need to run a scale calculation based on the PDF scale at import - I am trying to work out how to do this. This is not importing at the correct scale as title suggests.

I have a problem, line weight and line type not show in my layout .I used broken line in model but when I plot that solid lines shows, how can you help me?
When you are in Layout TAB just Select that broken line which is not showing in your Layout TAB then go to properties and change the scale of it, lesser than the scale to the Model Tab.

Check raster images. Your PDF is probably a scan, so you'll want to use raster tools.

how about i already pick a correct reference to correct the whole dwg but when i do that the other dimension is not correct it has 1-15mm wrong scale

You need a Reference dimension(s). In your case,
it is missing, therefore it will not work.

Or you can use the 'Scale' command to make it the correct scale.
