@@asadhus Well, no 😂 I tried my best with this method and I learnt a lot, but ultimately I did something I was a little more familiar with in the end. It was a really difficult course and I got a credit out of it and lots of learning experience, so I think I did really well! Next time, I will try to use AutoCAD if I can now that I know more and since honestly, AutoCAD is much better than the alternative of Visio 😂

hey im just about to graduate with an as for engineering drafting do you think theyll hire me?
While I often visit UA-cam for references/ tutorial videos on many things but giving a review is a rare phenomenon for me. However, this video is extremely commendable. Hence, deserved a golden comment. I got up & running on Autocad within 2 hours even though I had never ever used Autocad before this. This is 50 times better than the tutorial video created by Auto-Desk itself under the academy section. NO, THIS IS NOT a paid comment :)... Outstanding Job!!!.... Super recommended Autocad beginners.

I studied Auto-Cad decades ago and have been using it ever since. I believe many college teachers don't keep up to date with the latest software and do not use the software professionally themselves so are not the best at teaching it. Also, the slow learners will slow down the whole class so often best to learn and practice from a video like this. Thanks

I'm a beginner student in Graphic Design and my cousin is an Engineer at a business I have applied for in the past. I didn't get hired at the time for lack of experience on CAD. Once again, I applied for the experience and skills I've gained through Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Premier Rush in class. I'm a current student so I downloaded AutoCAD, again, lol to do more hands-on learning and be ready for my interview at his job, which is this coming Monday! Thank you, sir, for boosting my confidence and helping me even set up a page and get familiar with the UI and basics of CAD, which I'm sure will be of great use for my interview. Can't wait to see the other videos and continue learning online with your help! God Bless. P.s I hope I get the entry level job as a drafter!

Great video for the beginner like myself. The one thing I struggled with is what I assume is a revision in the 2020 version. On the status bar there are no arrows beside the icons, you have to use the right mouse button to set things like the polar tracking angle.

I have a degree in mechanical engineering and graduated with my masters in 2015. Do they still teach you all hand drafting? I’m curious to see if they still teach hand drafting. We had to take classes on drafting before 3D modeling. I really enjoy drawing my blueprints when time isn’t an issue. CAD 3D modeling is extremely efficient and it’s what I use daily but I don’t feel as fulfilled as sitting at my drafting table and drawing my blueprints out. I’m trying to get my little brother into trade school and looking up videos to teach him CAD and came upon these videos and seen you were in Uni and that’s a question I’ve been wanting to ask someone younger than me. Just curious. Take care.

Thank god almighty for this tutorial. Our college assumes everyone taking the lesson knows autocad and then there’s me who does not even know how to draw a rectangle in specified sizes. This is a lifesaver. I felt so hopeless throughout the lessons I just gave up and decided to not take the exams

Lately I was thinking of having my own dream house and for reference watched tons of videos on floor plans, 2d & 3D animation and was wondering how can I suit these to my conceptualization. how do u download the app ?
@@calebalvares2020 if youre a teacher or student you can get it for free if not youre not you have to pay 1700/year or something like that, but go to the autocad website if you are a student and make an account and try to search for "AutoCAD" while on the website, click on it and when you try to download it will ask if youre a business owner or a student/teacher so click the student/teacher and then you have to have some sort of documentation that youre a student or teacher, (you can use your student ID card if youre school has them) and then you email a picture of it to them and they will email back with a link to download (if youre not a student idk how to download it sorry)
