Weird, If you steal 5 bucks out of the truck stop store you will go to jail for a felony. I guess you can defraud some guys out of 3000 dollars and they will smile and forgive you. No call the cops, no report fraud, no getting upset.... That is weird man.
I reported to the cops (nothing they can do but file report) reported to loadboard (they are looking into it) reported to amazon (they haul 10's of thousands of loads per day). Ibalso have reported to FMCSA. Far from a dead issue but also can't put my life on hold trying to change something that has been done. I actually hope the video reaches enough people to prevent it from happening to others. They also technically tried bank fraud with the fake Zelle link. One day I hope to do an update with happy ending bur right now its out of my control.
@@ridingwithkev5560 Dude, you act like this is complicated. We are all truck drivers just like you...... What is the MC number???? If you are not coughing up details it is hard to take you serious. Lets get you paid man,
You do have the right to contact the shipper/ and of receiver and they have to pay you direct. By law they are the responsible party for payment to carrier sir.
I have been trying. No such luck yet. Amazon told me there is no BOL since it wasn't product just empty tubs. Most of my PO loads don't have BOL. I have to make my own.
@@ridingwithkev5560 Well, I'm sorry for you but look as it as a paid education. It might be worth reflecting on it and then if you figure out some steps you could have followed to avoid getting scammed, make a video about it.
@clemsmith8799 that's how involved the scam is. I signed a carrier packet but it doesn't even look like that is legit as the company who's account was used to post the load and carrier packet I filled out isn't who had the load.
Last time they try to fool me by a load with double broker, when i found out,it was while i was still with posesion of the load,i didn't deliver the load at the receiver i call the shipper and they ask me to bring their load back to them and pay me in advance fuel and what i ask for my time. What was the name of the double broker and MC?
Wish I had caught on sooner and could have worked something out easier. They listed the load as freighmasters which is a legitimate company out of Houston. Not sure ifnthat is the actual company though as I have had no luck getting ahold of them. That could have just been the company they used on DAT.
Unfortunately I am pretty sure amazon wouldn't let me back on the yard. I am working the channels but Amazon is an enormous company and even getting to the right person has been a challenge.
It sucks this happened to you but god was looking out for you at the casino lol, glad it wasnt a total waste, keep your head up! Also since youre at one year now are you considering buying a trailer?
I'm assuming you reported the broker to DAT. Would be interesting to see what they have to say. Probably "no comment". BTW, I'm also commenting on every video to help you with the algorithm. "Like and comment".
Yeah I also did but I am not sure that broker even knows. It's very involved scam actually. I know they had to have used at least 3 broker MC's. Amazon keep kicking me around and no one will answer anything.
Man defitinely a learning experience. Keep on truckin Kev.
Appreciate it

Call/email Amazon and let them know as much information that you have. Amazon hates double brokers too. Best of luck, keep trucking
I have reached out to them.

I agree with this. I understand that you need to make sure that your carrier name is shown on the BOL.

I think I would go pick the trailer up and hold it hoatage until Amazin went after the scammer.
Unfortunately I am pretty sure amazon wouldn't let me back on the yard. I am working the channels but Amazon is an enormous company and even getting to the right person has been a challenge.
I got scammed on an amazon load to and never got paid
I'll never run another one unless I go through Amazon directly. I also have gotten quite good at spotting scam loads

I have owned trailers. Right now I am really enjoying PO. I do have a plan though
Weird, to accept a theft of 3000 dollars. What is going on.
Why didnt you just take the zelle payment from them?
The link was also a scam. It used to steal banking info
Awww this sad😢😢
Thanks buddy
That sucks.
It truly does

DAT will not even let you share your experience in the review the broker section. Why are we all ok with 3000 dollar theft.
Prime sounds good right about.... NOW
@lastlaplogistics8512 for some people I am sure. Just not for me.
Sorry for the bad luck, but you won 2,000.00 👍🙏
