I was gonna say you should look into Hauling for crane companies in your area. I’ve hauled a lot of trailers for crane companies, and they usually have specialty trailers set up just for their counterweights specifically.
Thanks for the update. Negotiating is a valuable skill these days and YES, you had the upper hand but it seems you didn't club them with it too bad. Good luck out there. I'm about 2 weeks away from my insurance renewal letter coming out so will soon know if I'm shutting down.
@@ridingwithkev5560 fingers crossed. I'll be starting my 4th year with (at this point) no losses paid. I did have a crash a bit over a year ago. 4 wheeler 100% at fault and their insurance paid.
Yup. It's really not that hard since RMIS saves your information. My authority is still new enough I'm dealing with mostly "bigger" brokers. Especially since I am now factoring.
Power only sounds like the way to go!
man its a different animal for sure. A lot more involved in finding loads. I have been extremely lucky so far.
Good information, thanks for the update, stay safe and Semper Fi!
Thank man you too. Semper Fi
You should watch Steady Trucker, he is a power only guy out of Texas who’s done this for a long while. Lots of great advice and secrets he shares
Will do

Yeah I'm getting ready for renewal as well. Per my agent it should be better since I'll have my year and nothing negative

Need more videos good job
Swamped right now. I have some good video ideas just a time thing.
Lots of flatbeds hauling sailboat fuel out of Florida last week--not sure how they secure it on a flatbed. I'm a pro hauling it in a dry van.
💯 I was very fortunate to get paid to haul it
are you having to do carrier packet's for all these brokers that you're dealing with off the load board's ?
