I don't know where I heard or saw it but it was once said that if you looked into someone's eyes you looked into their soul. I think that Bette Davies cracked that : her eyes were so expressive! I cannot think of another actor or actress who used their eyes to put across their feelings as effectively as Bette Davies. Plus she had natural beauty. R.I.P. Bette 😔

For this video, they should have included the scene from Whatever Happened to Baby Jane where Bette is by a window right before she turns around to tell Joan Crawford " But you are Blanche, you are in that chair ".
