I can’t believe all the people complaining in the comments! Your house looks fine, the concrete fits the industrial look of the house. It doesn’t matter that the windows are uneven. The wood framing is fine! Especially for your area. I’m glad that you got to built your dream home!
@@Dontworryboutit315 there's still no obvious reason to not have made them match. It's really such a horrible design flaw. Looks like the type of plans where it screams an engineer designed or that midway through there was a forced change due to codes.
I don't get why people give so much hate? Not everyone is a millionare and can afford to build the best home under the best conditions. Building this house was probably their dream, and to be honest, the location seems awesome! So much peace and quitness. I'm sure you can enjoy your new home :)
I love your home. I think the contractor did a great job in building it and I love your choice of materials. I you take a look at wooden historic homes, they have been around sin 1700 and 1800. I hate ignorant and negative people who have nothing better or nice to say. This home does not look cheap and you don't have to have a brick or block home to have a nice home. I'm currently remodeling my family wood clap pine home. It was built in the 30's and 40's . Great job!!! Again, you have a beautiful home.
Are you serious? Am I mistaking or do you really think this looks like an expensive house? I really don't get it. It looks like cheap shit. A house made of wood and everything around the house is just concrete. Looks cheap, is cheap, is 'MURICA!
@@RubyRhod dude it cost alot to build an house and it dosent need expensive materials to build it wood and concrete is often what they use and yes it was probably cheap because lots of reason, Sale on timber, Warmer Climat etc etc So dont talk shit about other peoples work when you are trashtalking online thanks
I greatly enjoyed watching your video. You have a very beautiful home and I wish you a very happy life. Thanks for sharing this part of your life with the world!
With the tin roof and the way its set up, all the snow ends up coming off the main roof onto the smaller one between the garage and house then lands right in front of the front door. Didn't think that one through lol. Beautiful home though!!
Great Video and beautiful home . I see your using a Brinno TLC200 Camera. We are starting a house build and have the same camera. Can I ask what settings you had the camera on during construction?
The retaining wall looked like an overkill... and why bring dirt back to the site... you could have moved the wall (to the right by this view) and created a spot to the right of the grunge to park (and hide) your trailer...
Congrats to y'all for building your dream house, but like, what's with American Houses being so ugly and badly designed? This lookalike something i built in the sims when i was 12. Some boxes, a roof and weirdly placed windows. Jikes
Beautiful house but i have some concerns and suggestions - The retainer wall should have been extended beyond garage, roof should have been fire & ice before metal not tyvek, metal on roof should be 24ga to protect from hail storm "won't see dents", foundation should have been 6" slab not raised especially in your climate, AC installers wasted material, front / side porch should have roof extended for snow events so you don't get trapped & venting through roof are no longer a thing. My pipes vent to attic using this filter so my roof is all solid with no holes. In all you have a beautiful home which i am sure it will give you many years of happiness but you will learn as i did what to and not to do with the next home build.
Brick houses would develop cracks over time due to the temperature changes in winter and summer as water will expand in the stone and concrete in winter creating cracks. Same as summer when the concrete expands. This can lead to expensive maintenance as was explained to me when I was there. It is also cheaper to build with wood as it is abandunt in the states, easily accessible and cheaper because of the climate favors their fast growth rate.
Alright but a year is too damn long for a house this size. I’m a mason and we did a foundation for a house twice this size and with in less than 2-3 weeks everything was ready to go for the bricks
Guy with the yellow dodge give him a raise. Always on the job. Lol
That's probably the contractor
plot twist: it's a company car that anyone can drive.
Since when do you deserve a raise for being there everyday?

Can't wait to do this myself some day. Videos like this are always inspiring to me.
Beautiful home, would liked to have seen the inside.
11:25 look at the trees!
aaaaaaAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH
Oooh very dark. Nice house
i know right i hate it
i assume thats them lifting back up after the weight of the snow is gone? awesome
Then uneven windows bother me so bad
for me it's termites. All house made from wood almost entirely. I know that building home from stone in USA is not cheap, but fuck.
@@rogerwilco220 My 60 year old house, wood built, no termites. We don't have termites as an issue everywhere.
It’s probably where a staircase is and the windows following the stairwell creates natural light thtoughout
If you look at the build, the left window is for a two story ceiling window and the right one is separate for the upstairs room

Martin, Thanks for having the forethought to set up a time lapse of the whole build. Loved it.
Thanks for sharing the build... beautiful home. Looks like the guy responsible for installing the garage doors took quite a few "sick days".
Nice Video. Thank you so much for keeping it silent. It was a pleasure to watch.
That was awesome, great job. God bless ,May you have Many years of great memories in this lovely home. Beautiful.
Robert Gonzalez : your a nice man . That’s the comments
That matter . Have a great day buddy

customer: we would like you to build our house.
constructor: Great, what is your budget?
customer: Yes.
That's what I was thinking... Must be nice to have no budget. I bet he breeds lizards and his wife probably sells stickers online or something.

Holden Tudiks this isnt an expensive house at all

Beautiful home. Awesome time lapse
The roof funnels all the snow to the front entry way
I thought this comment was dumb until I saw the part where it makes a damn 5 foot pile of snow!😂😂
Noticed that as well
@@austinwalker7439 Yea, and it took about 3 weeks for all of it to melt!
I was wondering where my truck went when I traded in. Good to see it in the hands of a small contractor.
Very Nice property many thanks for the upload
Looks pretty good
11:24 is my favorite part... The trees are breathing 😋
I am really amazed on this video
What a view and privacy!
Beautiful 👍👍👍
Really enjoyed the video Thanks for sharing man👍👍
Wow, I bet that was a lot of disk space for all that footage. Heh Very cool. 👍
Beautiful home Nice job
I love it! I’m starting to make real estate videos as well!
Great job beautiful house.
Could have done with some back ground music on this video.
nice house
I honestly liked it better with the original wood color
Would have loved to see the interior 👍
That was fastest 13 mins ever , i felt like 2 minutes...)))

We are interested more in the house tour than the construction work. When are you guys taking us to the house tour?
The melting snow bends the vent stack coming through the roof at 9:10...
Good eye
That was poorly designed to have all the roof snow land on their entry way.. I feel bad for them
Beautiful
Nice! Congratulations!
This was fascinating. Thanks for Sharing it.
Hey man!! Great video!! can you share what will be the budget in todays money to replicate your home (roughly) ? Thank you!!
what was the budget for the house? With the landscaping and the concrete driveway?
JUST AMAZING............
Lovely home.
Position of the camera was prefect 😋😋🤔🤔
When we watch as neighbors 😂
What’s the square footage?
What was the final build time frame
Cost of the build???
Cost of the build??? please!!!!
The excess HVAC duct work just thrown away at 4:01, was troublesome...
i would have put the garage doors on as soon as the windows and roof were done.
Robert Rockwell some dumbass would back into it and with so many trades on site nobody would fess up to it .
That what we typically do. As soon as the floor is poured. You put in the doors and lock the house.
Your living my dream dude 👍
how often were the pictures taken ?
every 1 minute? 5 minutes?
Probably every 1 minute
Extraordinário. Parabéns e obrigado 👍 👍 👍
Ive got a cabin in black mountain, beautiful area
Any pictures of the inside?
Kinda local to me! We’re in Hendersonville!
How big is it and how much did it cost?
Best part 11:52 - 11:58
Nice build but the house looks like a warehouse.
Красивый дом! Но, неудачная планировка, зимой снег с крыши будет перед входом!
Там снега нет
Зимой ведь строили...
is it wood cheaper then bricks &concrete in USA ?? i see only this wooden houses but prices again are not so cheap
What time lapse camera did you use on this ??
Windows are killin' me!
I knew this was in north carolina i feel like ive even seen this house before while traveling through.
It’s a beauty but why did it take so long?
Great job! I'm very impressed! Can you tell me what equipment you used?
Nice video! Where did you get the house plan?
Me : I would like you to build my house in 13 min.
Contractor : No response
😭😭😭😭😭
What camera did you use to record?
Soo...did you always want to live in a barn, or was it a snap decision?
The retaining wall looked like an overkill... and why bring dirt back to the site... you could have moved the wall (to the right by this view) and created a spot to the right of the grunge to park (and hide) your trailer...
The windows placement is really weird. The location of the house is beautiful. Pitty there is so much concrete around the house....
Would be nice if there was some music.
What camera did he use to film this and how did it not die
Goodnight John Boy.
Those windows are bothering me so bad because they are uneven 😂
I thought so to about the windows..odd
Great video, but SO much wood waste into the dumpster!!

me thinking to myself "damn how tf are the camera batteries still alive?" I swear I'm slow sometimes lmao
Please visit inside... I'm waiting for vadio

You can see vehicles lift off the ground when being unloaded
I can build that in Minecraft in half hour :)
Who design this Steve wonder ?
Something is going off that edge of the driveway and it isn't going to be easy to get back up without a winch or recovery vehicle.
I sat here and watched a plant grow
The camera was starting outside for years.....
How much money ?
Why does that take a year?
So that’s what money looks like. I’ll be damned.
I was shocked with the waste of new material that was placed into the bins.
I’ll pack my bags. 😉
Why are the windows not the same
Videos like this without sound are so painful to watch. Just at least put some music to it
Why don't you build brick houses, are these timber houses cheaper? these wooden houses look fragile
This isn't Europe, wood houses are pretty sturdy.
Brick houses would develop cracks over time due to the temperature changes in winter and summer as water will expand in the stone and concrete in winter creating cracks. Same as summer when the concrete expands. This can lead to expensive maintenance as was explained to me when I was there.

The misaligned windows trigger my OCD 😅😅
