- The magic of Pink Floyd live performances was achieved through ahead-of-its-time choreography, visuals, and playing extended versions of well-known songs.
The Wall shows of 1980 & 1981 featured extended versions of numerous tracks. One of them was “Mother” which featured David Gilmour's guitar solo that was longer than the studio version.
Relieve the magic of Pink Floyd live performances from 1980 & 1981. I was trying to make this Pink Floyd Mother live cover as authentic as possible.
Here's the link to the backing track that I used in the recording:

Thank you, Tiago Vitor, for making such a great & authentic backing track!
Enjoy this Pink Floyd cover!
Nothing happens, except "mama's gonna help build the wall"!
I never heard an extended version of that solo. Well done 👏
Thank you!
Good job…bravo!

I'm very happy to hear that! It's a great song 🙂
Excellent playing. New friend here 👍
Thank you for your comment 😊 Welcome 😁🙏
Keep it up. It's 40 years ago I was playing a Fender like that and learning Gilmour.... never was this good.. well done. Nice tone too, not too scratchy
Thank you 🙏 I'm sure you play very well too 🙂 Keep on rocking!
Bad ass!
Thank you!
Perfect!
Subscribed.
Thank you for your kind words and support 🙂 Welcome!
Excellent!! Just needs a rotating speaker / mistress for that Ott modulation of those shows. ❤
Thank you for your comment! I think Gilmour used Electric Mistress for solos on those shows :) Unfortunately, I don't have it right now
Niceee! 🔝🔝🔝
Thank you 🙂 🔥
Bad ass again
Thank you! 🙂
Amazing work! Can you post the gear you've used here?
Sure thing and thank you for your comment 🙂 For this cover I had Mini Tube Screamer (Overdrive: 9 o clock, Volume: 2 o clock, Tone: noon) going into Green Russian Big Muff Reissue (volume: around 10 o clock, sustain: 2 o clock, tone: 11 o clock). After Big Muff I had Spark Booster (Clean boost, Level: noon, gain: 9 o clock, slight boost in treble and cut in bass). My amp was Laney Cub Head (1w input) plus Laney Cabinet
