Hi You Tube Friends, this is my cover of MOTHER's Guitar Solo from "Is There Anybody Out There?" LIVE version, Pink Floyd, originally played by David Gilmour.
This solo is a great piece of music in my opinion, and I want to dedicate it to my Mother, since she dedicated all her life to me and to my sister, she was similar to Pink's Mother in some way :-) ... but finally she helps me also to break down The Walls, thanks you Mum, I will never forget...

Gilmour is the master of tasteful solos and not every one can do them justice by infusing the solo with the kind of emotion necessary. Well done... you nailed it!

Another great interpretation!
I've always known that Gilmour's "magic" is in his "rakes", his powerful bends, and his tasteful use of vibrato. I heard him mention in a video that he never has been able to play really fast, so he improvised in other ways. Boy, am I glad! He plays with a "feel" that's unparalleled! Thank you Sir, for putting out these well done Gilmour interpretations!
I highly recommend this gentleman's other videos with renditions of "licks" from "The Final Cut", which are spot on as well!
