Playing “Astronomy Domine” on guitar is an amazing journey…
This Pink Floyd Astronomy Domine guitar cover is my tribute to Syd Barrett. I truly admire this man as a musician, songwriter, and artist. Playing this song on a guitar is a truly amazing journey and shows how much of an innovative musician Syd Barrett really was.
Enjoy this Pink Floyd Astronomy Domine guitar cover!

Pink Floyd Atom Heart Mother “Funky Dung” Jam
Переглядів 1,1 тис.3 місяці тому
This time, I'd like to show you a jam I recorded to the “Funky Dung” part of the Pink Floyd Atom Heart Mother suite. The jam includes both the licks from the original David Gilmour's solo and my own improvised licks. I always thought that this part of the Pink Floyd Atom Heart Mother suite was a warm-up before the funky part in “Echoes”. This Pink Floyd Atom Heart Mother guitar solo is, however...

This time, I'd like to show you my rendition of the famous Pink Floyd Time guitar solo. This cover features a Pink Floyd Time backing track, created especially for this video. “Time” is easily one of the best songs that Pink Floyd ever created. It also features one of the best guitar solos ever played. This Pink Floyd Time guitar solo cover also features the special appearance from Bunia the do...
Pink Floyd Have a Cigar Cover (Guitar Solo)
Переглядів 3333 місяці тому
In this video, I want to show you Pink Floyd Have a Cigar cover (guitar solo). “Have a Cigar” itself is an outstanding track from the Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here album. I think this is a rather overlooked guitar solo when it comes to the David Gilmour work. It is, however, one of his best & most electrifying ones. There's not a bad or mediocre track on the Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here album....
5 Pink Floyd Acoustic Guitar Songs
Переглядів 1,3 тис.3 місяці тому
In this video, I'd like to show you my playing of 5 beautiful acoustic songs by Pink Floyd. This is not a worst-to-best list - it's just a selection of Pink Floyd acoustic songs that I think are especially lovely. This list includes “Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here” & more. It may not include songs that are among your favourites, but I think these 5 are the most agreed-upon acoustic classics by o...

You are una riata! Gear??? Please
@@densmoreselim3877 I played through Laney Cub Head (15w input) + Cub Cab. It was clean, with gain at 3 or 4 (can't remember). I stacked MXR Sugar Drive (this is a Klon clone, drive at 9 o clock, volume around 11 o clock) with Mini Tube Screamer (drive at 11 o clock, volume above unity) 🙂
@@NoStringsAttached_Guitar Thanks, i hope achieve it with my Tumnus Wampler, and FZ-1w boss. Your playing and tone is amazing!
@@densmoreselim3877 Yes, It may work 🙂 Tumnus is an amazing pedal, FZ1 as well! Thank you for your comments 😀
Well done!
@@gilmourishofficial Thank you! 🙂
Good job…bravo!
@@obijuan3004 Thank you!
Nothing happens, except "mama's gonna help build the wall"!
I never heard an extended version of that solo. Well done 👏
Thank you!
Woow mate, amazing!
Thank you! 🙂
Awesome performance, cool strat ❤
Thank you!
Amazing dude, instant subscribing
Thank you and welcome! 🙂
AWSOME!
Thank you!
Tic tock brought me here. Fucking epic cover 😎 sounds like Gilmour was challenging eddie van halen lol
Thank you! Very interesring perspective 🙂
@@NoStringsAttached_Guitar Gilmour was once described in an article as "the missing link between Jimi Hendrix and Eddie Van Halen"
How did you get that good of a tone?
😂
Thanks for your comment! My amp is Laney Cub Head with Laney Cab. I simply stacked Boss Blues Driver with Boss SD-1, both low gain. After that I had Spark Booster :)
Nice 🤘
Thank you!
Keep it up mate
Thank you!
Siiiiiiick
Thank you!
Clean bro👌
👍
Nice
Thank you!
Rare🔥🔥
🔥🔥🔥
Trop bien !!!!
Merci beaucoup 🙂
It was Syd's crazy mashed up space frontier songs that they untangled that gave us pink Floyd
That's true 🙂
This is snowy white if I’m not mistaken not Gilmour
This is Gilmour, Snowy would play his solos after David during that live performances
Superb sound ! What kinda of gear have you used on ?
Thank you for your kind comment! I used Laney Cub Head (1w input) with Laney Cab. The amp was cleanish, volume 5, gain 4. When it comes to pedals: First, MXR Sugar Drive as a clean boost (No drive, volume at 11 o'clock), then Blues Driver with gain at 9 o clock, tone 10 o clock, and volume at noon. At the end I had Mini Tube Screamer with drive at 9 oclock, volume and tone both noon. I also had Spark Booster in my FX loop to boost my amp
Perfect!
Thank you so much!
Great playing and sound !
Thank you so much!
fantastic silky smooth sound and playing, well done man
Thank you very much! 🙂
Hi great souds! Could you say what amp and pedals you use? Cheers!
Thank you for your comment! I used Laney Cub Head (1w input) & Laney Cab (stock speakers). Pedals: First, MXR Sugar Drive acting as a clean boost (no drive, volume at 11 o clock, Sugar drive is veery loud), then I had stock Blues Driver with volume at 12 o clock and gain at 9 o clock and at the end I had mini tube screamer (drive 9 o clock, volume, tone both around 12 o clock). Also, I had a Spark Booster in the FX loop slightly boosting my amp
@@NoStringsAttached_Guitar Thanks a lot for the answer! I'm having trouble getting the David Gilmour sound. I use a Marshall SV20 relatively clean, JHS Morning Glory as boost/ slight drive and sometimes a Xotic SP compressor for cleans, and I also add a nobels odr-1 mini when I need more drive. Rams head big buff / mxr phase 90 / mooer e-lady for the other stuff. Maybe it´s the 212 cab with vintage 30s that are making my tone kind of too bright.
It seems like you already have great gear. I guess it just needs some tweaking to get the right sound 🙂
GREAT TUNE...Velvet Underground... paved the way for the 70s 👏
That's true 🙂
Excellent!! Just needs a rotating speaker / mistress for that Ott modulation of those shows. ❤
Thank you for your comment! I think Gilmour used Electric Mistress for solos on those shows :) Unfortunately, I don't have it right now
👍
Thank you for your comment!
I love this cover and Bunia the dog!😅
Thank you! And Bunia the Dog is the best 😁
Now play the intro solo
Sounds like a plan!
Brain damage sounds amazing on an acoustic guitar
You're right, it does 🙂 I once saw a video of Roger playing it on acoustic, can't remember where it was
Awesome! Love that song 🙂
Thank you!
Perfect man !!!!
Thank you very much! 🙂
good shit mate, keep it up!
Thank you! 🙂
Amazing! 🔥
Thank you!
Very beautiful! 😍 😍
Thank you!
Bad ass!
Thank you!
How did you get this tone man !!!! Honestly see ur channel making it big !!! Amazing cover
Thank you for such a kind comment! 🙂 When it comes to the tone, I put Boss SD-1 before Green Russian Big Muff Reissue. My amp is Laney Cub Head + Laney Cabinet 🙂
@@NoStringsAttached_Guitar your welcome man, I came from TikTok so had to subscribe to it yt !!!! Ahh that’s great as I own a boss sd1 and a rams head big muff so I could come relatively close although I think I want a new amp. Also do u think that snowwy used David’s big muff to record his solo or ???
Great! Ram's Head is Gilmour's tone in a box 🙂 When it comes to Snowy, he said in am interview that he used a White Strat that was in a studio when they recorded Animals. It's very possible he also used the Big Muff
@@NoStringsAttached_Guitar ahhh right that’s cool !!! You should cover the dogs solos especially with that tone !!!
Yes, I'm planning to do "Dogs" at some point 🙂 Such a great song
Bad ass again
Thank you! 🙂
I think this sounds pretty good! 👍
Thank you! 🙂
Perfect! Subscribed.
Thank you for your kind words and support 🙂 Welcome!
Wonderful 🤘✨✨
Thank you!
Sounds great I love the tone. What drive do you use for this song?
Thank you! I used Blues Driver with MXR Sugar Drive, both low gain, bigger volume 🙂 I also shared specifics of my tone in the video related to this short 😉
Love it❤
Amazing cover! And the TONE OMG!! Which recording is this a cover of?
Thank you! This cover is based on one of the Rainbow Theater performances from 1972 🙂
