I’d just like to pay tribute to the amazing women who marry into these historic families. They become a force of nature determined to hand over the property in an even better condition to the next generation. Well done ladies!
What a commitment these estate owners have in their estate managers. I couldn’t get over how Mark the estate manager always used the word “we” - and spoke so fondly of a 10 year plan. This means Mark is committed. Unlike anyone you will ever find in a lifeless FORTUNE 500 corporation in our new century. I certainly hope these owners have children that are equally as committed as Mark to the life of this fantastic estate. The future.
Lady Brudenell is the such a charmingly sweet hostess & how wonderful that she seems to get such delight in showing her home & gardens. I thank her & Sir Brudenell for sharing their home with the cameras so that we, too, can be delighted in seeing all they have done to maintain the great estate.
I have had the honor of visiting a few historic homes in England and Ireland. Last one I saw was Blenheim Palace where Churchill was born. The history of these homes are so incredible and so cool that so many have been preserved .
This episode has GOT to be my most favorite one so far! Charlotte and Robert are some of the most lovely, friendly, and gracious hosts I think you've ever visited! Well done!
Let’s be honest Countess Charlotte & Earl Robert Brudenell are absolutely lovely and generous. The beautiful bedroom they chose for Viscountess Julie Montague is such a warm gesture 💛💛💛
All the houses are lovely but so far this has to be my favorite. Remember taste is subjective. I would love to sit and chat with the wonderful hosts. They too are charming and just lovely. Thanks for what you do. I really appreciate it.
When I visited Biltmore the thing that fascinated me the most were the kitchens, laundry and servants quarters. These were the people that were the glue of an estate.
Quite lovely to meet such charming “custodians” of a national treasure. It really makes a difference to hear about a manor from those who call it home. TY
How nice that the film crew noticed and filmed the adorable doggie that kept following Charlotte and Julie. What a beautiful creature! The breakfast room with its blue and white china and its magnificent stained-glass windows is wonderful, perhaps, in my opinion, the nicest room in the house. The work towards re-wilding and making the estate more profitable is admirable and I hope more great landowners will follow the example set by the Brudenell family. Thank you Julie for another beautiful and highly informative video. Warmest regards.
Wow! Great documentary! Wonderful couple! Lovely team. 1:18:25 Brilliant ! History and new chronology are SO exciting, accepting surprises is wise! Your films are jam packed with information and clues! Thankyou!
I was so excited to see this pop up again! The link to the Montagu family is a joyful story. What a stunningly beautiful place, with so much work put into it.
I think this is my favourite episode so far. What an incredible film, wonderful to see the “inside” story of these magnificent estates, the traditions, the people that lived there in the past and present and how they keep the history alive for all of us. So much work done with so much love and respect. They have an amazing team here. Thank you again Julie and your team for showing us another incredible bit of our world.
This was such a well produced, and expertly executed video production of an amazing, warm, gorgeous estate! The hosts were kind and thoughtful and Julie did such amazing interviews! Breathtaking! Enjoyed enormously! Thank you! 🩷🌿
The random clips of the dog in between the video makes me laugh, I love it! 😂 and as someone who just started watching your videos yesterday, I love your personality so much. Thank you ❤❤❤
What an absolutely amazing visit to an awesome historical house. Breathtaking. Julie, from one Chicago girl to another, you're great at 'raising the shades' and giving us a wonderful peek into the Real Life of these living, breathing pieces of history.
This is so excellent and I thank you all so much for taking us along! Gorgeous, steeped in History, and thoroughly fascinating! All the best to your hosts and the to future of their extraordinarily important home. Thanks!
This was brilliant! Truly enjoyed seeing Dean Park and surroundings. I love how you and Charlotte share ideas. I can see you taking it all in. Im sure you acquired some ideas for Mapperton. Well done, Julie. From Florida
I am thrilled to have discovered this channel . And I take great delight in the delight , verve and interest shown by Julie Montagu , in our history , architecture and gardens. And now also , for her own Mapperton channel !
I love watching your tours. For this gal from NZ they're a whole nother world! Maybe like you too once. I find watching these is grounding, good for my mental health. Even your paid presentations are fine to watch 🥰
Hastens - The horsetail hair is the foundation of all Hästens mattresses. Enjoying your videos as a new subscriber and thought I’d share this company with you. Swedish Company since 1852. They’re still around 😊
Wow what an amazing home! Thank you for all the time and dedication you put into showcasing these country estates and also the time and energy you put into maintaining and restoring Mapperton! You truly are an amazing person My Lady, Viscountess Hinchingbrooke ❤
I'm guessing this is just the previous various episodes combined into one video. These are a great addition. But suggest you include that in the title that it's a redo. Will stop the confusion.
I loved this, and felt I was t here, though sadly was not, and loved seeing t he Spode 'Italian' china at breakfast; it brought back memories. Mine was sadly broken by a house guest in an unfortunate moment when he lost his balance.
Absolutely Outstanding, Awesome, just one FANTASTIC, Unique Estate! The Stately Historical Homes of the UK 🇬🇧have such visual appeal:they are National Treasures that must be preserved for the future enjoyment of all ❣🇬🇧 Roland Singh, Canada 🇨🇦
Watching "Antique Roadshow" some of the places they visited on the show was in England and reminded me of Mapperton home similar rooms etc. so fun to see the rich treasures the show highlights. Love your videos.
I've seen some of your videos and I wonder what car is that? from the beginning of every single video, is a corvette? I do like it a lot, what a wonderful car you have
What a beautiful storied place. When you put on that beautiful blue dress, I wanted to hear you pick up the tele and say, "The Bucket resedence, Lady of the house speaking". haha.
I always have conflicting feelings about these homes. I'm fascinated by their beauty and history. They really are incredible works of art themselves. However, they were also narcissistic monuments built on hoarding wealth, slavery, colonialism, brutality, and exploiting a system of extreme inequality.
This is the feature length film. We spend weeks researching, filming, editing our historic house episodes. We can't possibly put out a high quality video 52 weeks a year. We have all new Season 4 Historic House episodes starting in 2 weeks. We hope you appreciate the effort and hard work that goes into making these films.

Charlotte and Robert were such nice hosts! I especially loved Charlotte. She is very knowledgeable and has such a nice way about her!

I really love these feature length explorations of these homes/estates!! It may be the closest that I will ever get to these gorgeous settings 😍🤩🤩🤩🤩
I have had the honor of visiting a few historic homes in England and Ireland. Last one I saw was Blenheim Palace where Churchill was born. The history of these homes are so incredible and so cool that so many have been preserved .
Glad you like them!
One of the warmest grand homes I've ever seen. Not stuffy or heavy at all.

Our pleasure!
Let’s be honest Countess Charlotte & Earl Robert Brudenell are absolutely lovely and generous. The beautiful bedroom they chose for Viscountess Julie Montague is such a warm gesture 💛💛💛
They own the house, but are not the Earl and Countess. It's something of a taboo subject, and confusing given the relationship and surname, I grant.
All the houses are lovely but so far this has to be my favorite. Remember taste is subjective. I would love to sit and chat with the wonderful hosts. They too are charming and just lovely. Thanks for what you do. I really appreciate it.
What an absolute delight Charlotte and Robert are and what a magnificent estate, thank you for taking us on this journey with you Julie xxx
When I visited Biltmore the thing that fascinated me the most were the kitchens, laundry and servants quarters. These were the people that were the glue of an estate.
Julie, your enthusiasm upon each new discovery while touring the home is so lovely and endearing to us and the residents!
This is the most loveliest home and gardens plus setting…ever….Love how warm, bright, and colorful the home is…..
Quite lovely to meet such charming “custodians” of a national treasure. It really makes a difference to hear about a manor from those who call it home. TY
"I love being in turrets!" haha great quote from this episode!

Why are you reposting??? I’ve seen this already…
I'm thinking the same - I'd like to think it's reposted simply to catch those who've not seen it 😊

There is no need to post every week. Better to have fewer quality episodes then to post the same content again and think your viewers won't notice.
Hello, can you please shorten your introduction to each video. We already know your background and to hear it over and over again is tiresome.
