Subtitles are up now... guess it's time for all those people who've already watched it to watch again!
Hail Lorquin! Rewatched just for her (ok, not only, but you know what I mean).
There's a weird technical glitch, though - it doesn't show up on the campaign playlist. Goes straight from 154 to 156, with the advisory "1 unavailable video not shown". Works just fine when I watch it on its own, but it gets omitted during Autoplay.
EDIT: Fixed! Thank you kindly!
Doing this exactly!
@@duicic8541I was assuming this episode got skipped by accident. Glad it popped up on my home page.
subtitles have been amazing. fine work, indeed.
You’re a tough guy in that suit of armour, but take that away and what are you?
“Garlic Farmer. Sheep herder. Shopkeeper. Publican. Quest giver. Tinkerer. Actor. Detective. Arsonist. Murderer. War criminal. Priest. Hero.”
Greg is the Johnny Sins of Honeywood
@@LikeIGiveAShit Who's Johnny Sins?
@@lorenzobenini7031 that has to be satire but at this point i don't even know
Your forgetting bartender. He runs the honey wood tavern.
I'm not sure if this was the point, but I read this like the note at the end of the Breakfast Club.
Wow, that recap at the beginning was so much smoother because they only played yesterday, not six months before. That studio is really paying off, so glad for you guys 😁
😊 right?? Such a smooth start
Still enjoying this quite a lot though
Yeah ... that's one freaking million dollard well spent!
(Just kidding, I think it's awesome, it's just that my sens of humor lies in passive-agressiveness ;) )
Yes, I love that! In the past, it was always a bit jarring, when they suddenly forgot everything from one episode to the next, every now and then. Hopefully we are past that now :)
Thanks for the shout out! Great seeing my terrain in the tavern. Looking forward to seeing what else you have borrowed showing up!
It's such cool terrain. I can't wait for everyone to see the other stuff Rob brought in.
Thanks for lending it for all us to see. 👍
No worries! I love seeing it in use and makes for a fun challenge to meet Rob's build requests.
Nice work
Thanxs Word.
10:40 I love how the camera zooms in on Rob and allows the audience to do an insight check on Rob
Lol, whole episode, they managed to walk about 60 ft 🤣🤣
Good episode 😂
Think Rowan walked more than their characters
but they managed to disarm 3/4 of a poison trap!
@@VivaLaDirtLeagueDnD I love you guys, but please. Entire week of waiting for the new episode just to walk few feet? Could it be possible please to either make longer episodes or upload twice a week, please?
@@TheW1tcher78yeah , seems a little slow or lame for a week wait. No need to have a fight every episode, but even a little bit of more story.
Damn, BOB is actually doing rogue things really well today! Look at that!
We’re all doing D&D!! 😍
9:05 Ben said "invetigate" instead of "investigate".
In subtiltes it also stands as "invetigate".

One of the best part of this series is getting to see the player actually starting to get good at dnd. For non player like me, it's like I am growing with them. Not just watching already good player playing
They've grown up so much!
Rob is basically trying to herd cats here lmao while Adam is the nice, obedient one
I don’t know if it’s the tavern, the shorter sessions, or the fact that everyone but Rowan got addicted to BG3, but whatever that is makes a BIG difference in how they play these days! I can’t believe they think about setting a trap and checking for them :’)
Love it when Greg shouts Guidance in green screen, but not in the actual gameplay. 😂 It could've help with the 25 DC
Hey, he is only shouting guidence, not casting it. 😂
A DnD session run the day right AFTER the last session??? What witchcraft is this 😂 The production quality since the move to the tavern has really sky-rocketed and I'm all FOR it!
I love that there was no break in the series for us! I assumed the horror TechTown TTRPG would be a replacement for a few weeks! So happy that I don't have to wait and can enjoy both.
The studio is making a huge difference. So happy for you guys.
"This is a good place for a trap."
"Okay, now that we've placed the trap, let's blow up the way down so that the people who were going to fall for our trap won't be able to get to it."
Solid planning!
You know... subtitles from glorious Lorquin will be added eventually. Right?
It's not the same without them
@@irenefavalli2236 Yeah...
Yeah, automated subtitles hurt
I'm waiting for them to watch because they are lifechanging xD
I was about to say. First time I havent watched with captions on
I LOVE the name "Baradun and the D-heads", especially how it is "official" and used in mid-roll
Especially when it's Adam who talks
The production on the green screen is getting really good
Thanks! We've got some even cooler things coming down the line. We've been experimenting with some really interesting shots.
@@benmwilliamsyes. and the colours are so WAY better now. GREAT JOB, GUYS!!
So are we going to ignore the fact that some random dance winner made it down this trap filled hallway and is still being pursued and didn't die. It must be that super drunkenness like when you become a dart expert when drunk
Dude's actually just the Ted Lasso of poison traps and suddenly realized he's right handed.
Randy is one hell of a D&D player
I **still** can't get over how truly epic that opening sequence is! 😍🤯😍
Rob can be very proud of Alan.
The boys D&Ded so well! I'm so proud of you all for using all your skills and abilities so well ❤
Oh no! I'm watching this before the official captions have been put in!
I guess I'll just have to watch this episode twice! Oh no! 😄
(All the loves to Lorquin ❤)
Yup that’s what you have to do!
*only audible to bats and dolphins* 🤣 I knew I wouldn't be dissapointed by the _right_ subtitles, thanks, Lor!
❤
"I didn't realize that Ben HAS a 20 on his dice there" 🤣🤣🤣 but Man it's heartwarming that they got to play just the day before 😌
That hero token is rightfully bodgers 😂😂😂
I’m loving the improved green backgrounds, so much better than when you started. My only suggestion is Rob you may want to spend some time going over their inventory and explaining what their items do and how to use them. Don’t forget it’s been a year or more since they got some items like the glue they found a while back could have been useful in the tunnels as a trap. They are playing really well now. I would love to see them use their inventory better. I know Rob says it’s on them to keep track of their inventory but that’s hard to do with item they found 2 years ago.
For some reason the subtitles are autogenerated and that's OUTRAGEOUS.
I'm gonna stop by later to watch it with the proper work of art of Lorquin, thank you very much
Rowan, throughout the entire series I could tell your back was hurting... oh those chairs... Good on you mate, stand up, stretch that back with no regrets!
Baradun should conjure up some magic chairs with comfortable cushions for the hours long gaming sessions these dudes sit through.
If Greg dies I want Alan to reprise his role as the heroic and charismatic leader of the militia, Isaac.
Can tell the short series really helps their creativity! I love the discussion on the trap making
This game is so real. The nonsense at the beginning is every D&D session I have ever played. Thanks for keeping that in guys.
Gosh, you are really getting good at DnDing! It was great to see Bob using his rogue skills to save the day. And I'm completely in love with the tavern. I would move there on the spot.
"Hey guys, we need like... an immovable object here."
How about the oil that casts immovable object? The one Baradun has somewhere on his person.
Omg the YouTooz promo at the end greg was so cute innocently answering Baradun ❤
Wow that green screen with Bob disarming traps was epic looking. One of the best so far
I'll advocate for Greg on the investigation check on the integrity of the cave (Yes, unecessary tangent). Rob said he didn't have a reason to know anything about engineering or arquitecture, wich, fair enough, he wouldn't be proficient or smart about it. BUUUUT, he was a tinkerer for a long time, after all. He built robots, guns, cameras, even a copy machine, and the most impressive tecnology achievement i've ever seen: a smelly screwdriver. He would still, even though he changed classes, have some leftover knoledge about math, trigonometry, geometry, physics and engineering. Especialy because it was implied it was actual tecnology rather than "magic" tech.
another live, he left behind his tech knowledge when he killed of poppy. that sheep was the real tech genius and he was just the depraved arsenist following in it's glory.
Alan can't receive inspiration/hero point that easily: it has to be earned. For example, can Alan tell us who Pete Gurlet is?
Where has this come from? Even the internet doesn’t know who Pete Gurlet is
@@NamedNitrogen He met this peach farmer in the first episode: he dumped manure in front of Greg's shop. Then, he was in Greg's dream ("lots of kids and no livestock") and he is surprised to have never seen Pete's wife pregnant. Finally, we read 'PG' on a document which suggests that people who have not paid for their loved one released from prison see their loved one (who magically has the characteristics of a child) given to PG.
@@michael_pilot- holy shit that's terrifying
@@DrakeWurrumActually kind of PG. They are just adult farm slaves that look like children.
@meoff7602 - didn't say it wasn't PG.
Just said it was terrifying.
"*only audible to bats and dolphins*"... Bro, I can't watch this without subtitles
"Guidance!" got me good. A great example of why its op, when used.
I *just* had an amusing thought, what if Greg's patron/deity were Sir Vey?
155 episodes and i still look forward to watching this as much as i did at the start. Thanks for all the laughs guys!
I won't lie, I missed Ben.
Glad too have you all together again ^^
Ben is awesome!
Definitely ^^
It wouldn't be the same without him!
Wait. At which point was Ben not present for their regular on-going DnD campaign?
@@jimmiebabz He was missing for some time due to a bjj injury if I remember correctly. During that time Hamish replaced him on the green screen, not just for the Bob character but also Sandra.
He's also not around for the Horror one short they've been performing
So I've missed seeing him.
RIP Rowan's mustash. You will be remembered. The back pain is karma for slaughtering a pure and innocent soul.
I’m surprised at how good Ben’s rolls were this episode…! A shame it’ll NEVER happen again…
Bro spoilers wtf
@@cmsmiley1155why are you in the comments without watching the video 😂
@Fr3devil when you watch UA-cam on mobile devices you can see comments as the video opens and this was the top comment
@@cmsmiley1155 It's almost like the comments are the place to discuss the video.
@golem4617 seems like you missed the point that the comment was shown as the video opened.
Sad day when anyone defends spoiling stuff
greatest thing ever is if greg is right and they all die walking off a cliff and it is up to Britt, Ellie, Byron, and Hamish to finish the quest and story
I actually created a dessert for DM's to use in their campaigns. Here it is Viva la Dirt League:
Lavaberry cake
Cost-50 gold coins
This delectable dessert is a stereotypical chocolate cake with chocolate froasting and the filling is Lavaberries. Lavaberries are uncommon as they only grow near areas of volcanic activity becuase of using the volvanic soil. What makes this particular berry so expensive though isnt the location though. Instead it is the swarms of drakes that hide in the environment around these berries to prey on those foolish enough to eat this delectable treat. Typically 3 drakes per encounter. This makes the berries incredibly hazardous to harvest in any amount and as a result only the incredibly affluent and wealthy, typically the aristocracy, can afford it. It is a sign of status as much as it is of obscene wealth. It tastes like a chocolate cake with the lavaberry filling a perfect balance of tart and sweet with a hint of minty flavouring.
Depending on how this dessert is prepared, eating this particular food can remove a level of exhaustion and functions as though a Heroes feast spell was cast on those consuming this delicious dish. This increases the cost to 150 gp.
Note: These traits can be changed as desired by the DM.
That greenscreen! The stone corridor on the greenscreen! The GREENSCREEN!!! 😍
Ever since you guys started the horror one shot, this feels too short! Still enjoying it though!
It is truly OUTRAGEOUS!!
28:56 Ben has great idea, immediately disregarded or ignored and they move on passing this “door”…. it’s like they don’t know Rob’s wiles
Bodger is doing the old Barbarian disarm trap wrong.
You need to be raging FIRST, then run thru all the traps , then get the cleric to cast restoration/cure wounds.
Also greg screaming guidance made me laugh
"only audible to bats and dolphins" lol dang it Lorquin I'm dying haha 🤣
It's no longer 'Searching for Wotsit' it's 'Searching for Rowan'
I never DID see Wotsit this episode. :(
I am so glad you have subtitles. I searched for 20 minutes for a Cutting Woods UA-cam channel. I would never have found it.
I'll watch again when subtitles are available
Found Wotsit again! Behind Rob’s right shoulder, hiding behind a bottle!
Teleport 500 feet straight up, you're 100 feet underground, take falling damage for 400 feet.
This is the only d&d channel that I follow and have watched since the beginning. You define thursdays, thank you.
Aaaaaaany how. As English is a second language for me, I really would love the subtitles, it's easier to follow when you guys scream ontop of each other constantly (that's a sign of an awesome flow, that needs to continue) but having subs making fun of you at the same time allows me to understand you much better.
Rock on fellas!
Subtitles are up now, come back to rewatch! I also miss Lorquins subs especially when all 5 of them are talking over each other, plus her special treats too.
I wish you were sponsored by Dwarven Forge, so you could have these really cool 3D maps all the time!
Bob knowing everything about magic traps is so good. Bens my fave for sure, he's just so random, and the rolls, wow the rolls. ROLLercoaster! And straight into Adam quizzing why Ben had a d20 and not his usual d1!
We demand longer episodes! We live in a society!
Yes, we definitely need longer episodes to be capable of leaving society entirely. No more society! No more limits! True freedom!
I freaking loved the energy at the start (and throughout but specifically the start)
Hey, could Bob have used mage hand to scratch at the snake runes from a distance?
yes he could have, the mage hand can use the thieves tools to i believe.
B&D: You're going to have to come down here Rob. You're going to have to come down here.
Rob: ... buried aliiiiiiiiiive.
B&D: Roooooooooooooob!
I love the conspiracy that Bob is the player character 😂
Baradun could have used earthen grasp to bend the chute shut.
A nice series, and I unconsciously made Baradun party (a Sorcerer, Rogue, Cleric, and Barbarian) in Baldur's Gate 3!
This alt-channel deserves at least half your main channels subscriber count
Ah yes my true Thursday show lol who needs Loki and Disney+ when I have Adventures Of Azerim
Ben using theives tools... reminded me of his "amazing" lock picking skills with Scabetha's tree house.
I would donate the full cost to get Rowan suspended from the ceiling during a play session.
Greg shouting guidance after something goes wrong that he could have guidanced, never fails to make me laugh
32:57 They said Bob's an NPC!!!!!
I just realized that Gregs greatest power, is his lanturn of revealing 😆
Guys were so anxious about Blade that when Greg took his card, I was almost sure he is about to drop a guardian at the entrance of the tube😂
Maybe he is saving it for later.
1:17 I love how all the other players are _slowly_ learning the rules and Rowan is still like, "What are hit points??" 🤣
In this episode the adventurers go down one hall
other channels they take an hour in a tavern to order a pint.
here in half an hour they did recap, collapsed a halway got passed several traps and found a tp circle. all a matter of perspective imho.
That opening sequence gets me every time, it's freakin awesome!
Bodger must have the skin of an ogre. He has so good an armour class yet wears no armour :D
All these nano augmentations implanted under the skin finally pay off.😅
he is half-giant-half-dwarf-half-porcelain doll 🤷🏻♂️
@@PoobertFartley In summary he is a badass halfling. Hey guys, have you ever wondered how halflings are made? Well... Now you know.
Only audible to bats and dolphins 😂
Congrats, you just DragonBalled this one! One episode, you've walked 30ft. XD
How a group of 4 adventures only make it 50 feet into the new map in 30 minutes.
Such a general fact about DnD 🤣
Hahaha
Can't wait for the next épisode!!!
It's statistically 12,5 feet per person. :P
I was soo distracted the first half of the episode looking for the new location of whatsit that I had to rewatch the episode after I found him 😅
18:00 half advantage : goes like, throw 2 dice and take the average (instead of the best) :D
Erm... it's both disadvantageous and advantageous at the same time, lower chances for very low rolls, but also lower chances for very high rolls. When rolling against high DC it's disadvantage, when rolling against low DC it's advantage.
Finally ive been waiting all week for Thursday for another episode. Can't wait to see what dumb situations they get into this time. Hopefully rowan doesn't get any ideas for that holloween oneshot with geting information in the future
This video deserves more comments.
Hello from Finland. I finally reached this point. I started about 2 months ago, started from the first video. Very nice going guys. Man there's so much to watch :D
Did anyone else have to look up this episode separately? For me, the playlist jumps from 154 to 156.
24:11 rob is such a good DM.like what 😭😭😭 i get so mad when the important rolls are one off and it fails horrifically.
This was beautiful. Rob is amazing
4:41 I think I found Whatsit!
Sure you saw him!
Interwingled is a fabulous word
I’d have laughed if
Bob: disables teleportation circle
Rob: campaign ends as they all starve to death trapped in the mine forever
🤣
Love the sfx, thank you for bringing them back into the story telling and not just the green screen, may we get more please, that way we can be immersed in the story telling and the green screen
So much DnD lately, THANK YOU
just loving the production value of this channel and series....gets better and better! 🤘
This entire episode was basically them walking down a hallway for 5 minutes... XD
so much kidding around that if you deduce it, it indeed was walking around for 5 minutes. how manny sessions are just visiting a shop and going to the tavern again?
Only DnD channels I follow at this point in life are this one and critical roll. Love y’all ❤
i like this one more then critical imho, more fooling around and less drama. cr fills an hour with a sad funeral + manny speeches but people complain this channel takes 30 minutes to go down a trapp filled halway.
Soooo, just to let you all know, subtitles are no longer automatic, time to rewatch the episode, with subtitles turned ON. AmIright?
100+ sessions and bodger only just notices hero tokens being handed out got me dieing 😂😂
