WH10V3 Swap Your Pot Mod

So I’ve been asked a lot lately about the Swap Your Pot option and what it does so I made this little iPhone video. The stock V3 to my ears misses the mark in a couple of ways. It’s darker than the original V1 and it lacks that liquid sweep the original V1 had which is brighter and more of a liquid transition in the Q of the wah effect. The mods and pot swap remedies these issues with the V3 and also upgrades the stock pot to a more durable and historically accurate sweep of the V1. When making these replacement pots an actual WH10V1 pot was sacrificed in order to obtain an accurate reproduction of the vintage version. I know it’s hard to tell from a video the difference in sounds but when you’re in the room the modded version sounds crisper, brighter and more fluid than the stock version.
